Oh Debi, I just love you. You are such an inspiration, I love your videos, your technique, your great stories and storytelling. I have always loved to paint, but I have faced challenges, first I had strokes, and now this year my hands, I have not been able to touch my brushes in so long. I had surgery in October and now on December 20th,. I have actually been watching, Dionne and your channel and Jami and Zeb, it helps me deal with the pain because I do not like taking pain meds. I am 67 years old and always dreamed of finally using my creativity in my retirement. I am praying that I can for I am a woman of faith. I have not been able to buy DIY paint or brushes , because financially I am struggling, but I hope to in 2020. Thank You for sharing your life, after God, You, Dionne and Jami have lifted my soul.

I love the fact that you don’t just talk about what you do you talk about yourself it makes it so much more interesting. Because other UA-camrs first of all they talk too much about things that have nothing to do with the video that too long when did about nonsense you are so intriguing and captivating

However, in order to do so, I HAVE to order some DIY paint ASAP!! (& Top Coat & Golden Ticket & Dark and Decrepit & ... my shopping list is endless 😁) I tried out a different brand of chalk paint that I had on-hand which is just fine for ho hum plain old mostly mono color projects, but quickly found out that you just can't get the beautiful blending, interesting textures, or unique finishes that you can get with DIY paint. I tried the squirt bottle and scraper methods with the other brand and it was an epic fail 😖 lesson learned - I need the DIY paint to accomplish the fun effects ⚓
