This movie make you smile, and laugh. Rock and Doris were so great together. Two of the greatest in Hollywood. I never get tired of watching them together. Rock, Doris and Tony. They just do not make these great classics anymore. Rock and Doris should of both received Academy awards for all their great films.
Doris Day did get a Oscar Nomination for this movie and wished she had earned her Oscar since she is a fabulous actress and can sing and dance too. Also, Thelma Ritter got another Oscar Nomination and had a party with friends, who would have these parties and "watch her lose." She was always one of my favorite character actresses that add more interest to the movies all the time.

Love this movie. All 4 actors worked so well together. The clothes, jewelsand apartments were to die for. The story is funny and it's a good clean movie the whole family can watch. They did another movie in 1961, minus Thelma, called Lover Come Back. Same story but the apartments, clothes and comedy was still there.
As a fan (generally) of mid century design I love the lamp at 12:55 in her apartment lobby and the painting she brings to Jonathan’s office at 16:12. Both very cool and modern. Though I will admit: mid century can be overdone. A little of it goes a long way.

I own this movie on DVD. When it was listed as a free full length movie on UA-cam, I thought I may as well just stream it while waiting to drift off to sleep instead of searching for my disc. The full length movie is truly longer than 20 minutes and 5 seconds so what you get here is a chopped up, shortened version of "Pillow Talk".
Isn't it "IRONIC" how Brad Allen was telling Jan about how some men are close to their mothers, and basically a little "LIGHT IN THE LOAFERS." I was thinking - "Yeah, you'd know Rock!"
