Opening and putting together my new Quickjack 5000TL. I am still very excited to have one but ran into way too many issues putting this together and getting it up and running.

Brock, FYI I leave my QJ under the car makes it more convenient. It may not be practical for you to do that but it works for me. After you have used it a few times it becomes easier to get set up and get the car in the air.
Yeah unfortunately it won’t fit under my car but that would make it easier. I’ll get the hang of it for sure
Watched a different video where because the guys car was so low to the ground he had to drive it up on some small ramps, about 4” high, then it was easier to raise the car.
Yeah super low cars have a hard time
What's the proper position for the backup jack stands? Do you put it right under the support or slightly offset to account for how the QJs bring the car forward during lift?
Good question. I put them in places that can offer support in case things were to shift. You need at least 5 sec to get out from under the car if the thing starts to shift

Hahaha I can’t get rid of it. I’ll have it forever. Hopefully on a GT3 one day. I did finally have it on my Pulsar GTi-R so it was all worth it
Hi Brock. I received my 7000TL model last Wednesday in Germany. I have several times the bleeding done before I could use it. I used the teflon tape instead the liquid sealer for the fittings. The last two days I lifted up one trailer and 3 cars. BMW 318 Coupé, Vauxhaul Caravan 2008 and an old chevette 1978. For the last two cars I have to modify the rubber blocks. In the setup they are to high or to low 😅🙈 for my jack points so that I have contact with the quickjack frames before I can lift up.
Awesome. They do have different attachments to help with that as well

I watched my videos of the lifting from weekend. It is much easier to handle the cars now and they stand totally safe in position.
I bought my accessories ones on Ebay 😎. I got my SUV Adapters yesterday. They forgot to send it with the first delivery. With this you can lift up more to round about 6,69 in. For this way to lift I will modify something and you have to lift up/down in two steps but it should be not a problem.
