I’m so sorry honey. If she was a born-again Christian,She’s in Heaven and safe in the Arms of Jesus and not suffering anymore. My gradpa died on July 15,2015 and he’s in Heaven and not suffering anymore. I miss him sooo much and know I will see him-and other family again very soon!!!!!!!!!!
I regret of not subscribing to your channel. Followed you along on this journey. I know that it was tough for you. But to succeed is determination and winners never give up. Great effort! Your perseverance paid off; it certainly looked dicey at the end. Congrats! Perhaps now it’s time to move on to step back, reflect, and embark on a path that is less physically demanding. Age is not just a number regardless of how pleasing that sounds. You have another 50 years left in your battery and you want those to be just as rewarding as the first 50.

@@Fortuneadventures There are many ways to live life to the fullest. We are given 3 bodies, physical, mental and spiritual. As one ages, one embraces new experiences along this continuum. Transitioning from one body to another along with corresponding activities is essential for fulfilling one’s true destiny. My comment about pulling back from strenuous physical activity in your 50s is made with that in mind. Living life to the fullest means giving space and time for the mental and spiritual bodies to also evolve and manifest. Often, continually pursuing one physical activity after another ends up with little time to explore the genesis of the impulse/inclination for these activities. The mind and the spirit need time to process. That’s all I meant.

I'm sure you were emotional. I don't think anybody can finish a hike like this and not be. Actually, my favorite part of watching people hike this every year on UA-cam is seeing them reach the end and the joy and emotions that they express. You earned it!

congratulations: Great through hike, liked watching. Just wanting to know how you made a backpack cover out of garbage, my cover doesn't work. I section hike the AT and have 600+miles and just turned 74, I love it on the trail. Rest up.
