I always enjoyed the crunch of fresh fallen leaves when backpacking on the AT. I loved the month of May when the Mtn. Laurel was in bloom, especially on Blood Mtn. Leaves are slippery on the rocks. There was an approach trail (blue markers) from Chattahoochee Gap to Brasstown Bald.
Love the videos. I’ve been a hiker most of my adult life but usually just 4-8 hour hikes, but looking to do some over-night and thru-hikes when my son is older. Maybe even the the Appalachian Trail. I’ve done the Clingmans Dome part as I live in Tennessee. Your videos are very inspirational and also educational and I enjoy them. Looking forward to checking out the book when I get some time here soon. Keep doing you man. Live life as you say. Thanks for all the entertainment.
Still watching your videos. Live life is right. Hope to read your book. Just not in my tight budget at this time. I'll put it on my Christmas list, who knows😊

I love your videos. Georgia is also my favorite section of the trail. Happy trails
Thank you Fortune! Great to catch up with you again!
