One of the greatest songs ever written and oh how true it’s words are. I myself mirror the words of Sister Vestal I’m happiest simply standing in the presence of the King.
I am 58 and remember when my father took my family to see The Happy Goodman's. I wanted to sing like her, so very much. I still do....ha! Wasn't she amazing. Her love for people and Jesus...God, the Father, The Holy Spirit, was shown in her so brilliantly. I miss her and thank God that I was able to hear her. What a gift she was.-++++++++++
My Father , A Gospel Music Promoter has passed away into the Arm's of Jesus . Vestal and Howard Goodman were close friends of the my Father , We plan to have this played by the music people . What wonderful Words and message ! October 12 , 2018

Vestal was truly anointed by God! She had an amazing gift in the power of her voice. It was voice like no other and she could either move everyone to tears or having them all shouting hallelujah!! She was truly an amazing woman of faith and grace!
She painted the picture like no other. It is all about the anointing of the Spirit of God on her life.

Vestal Goodman is now singing in Heaven, with all of the other Angels. She has a great voice!
She was a great voice and to some of us a great and ferse friend , Her undying love for Jesus and her family and friends .

My great aunts and uncles (they have all gone to Heaven, and I can’t wait to see them!) used to tell about the time early in Vestal and Howard’s ministry when they sang at the little church up the hill from the family home. Someone asked Howard and Vestal down to the house to have Sunday Dinner, and they accepted. I’m sure anyone with them would have come, too; there were always, even in my childhood, many more people than you might expect for meals or to sing or chat. I didn’t know this until I was an adult, and it still thrills me all of the times I think about how my favorite gospel singer filled her plate at the same kitchen I did!

What a wonderful , Holy Ghost Filled women , Born , Lived and Died in Pentecostal church . She knew what it meant to have the anointing on her life and her music , How to touch souls for Jesus ! Rusty wrote this song for her , And what a Blessing it is !

Yolanda Lorente out of Chicago said her son on one of his faceb00k lives on his page Rick W Goodman. Hand-painted silk. She sang for the workers in the factory who were doing such on a visit there!
