- This familiarisation video shows you the essential controls and operations that will be useful prior and after taking delivery of your new or pre-owned Renault Kadjar.
Also includes how to pair your phone to Bluetooth and how to operate the R-Link system including Sat-Nav.

I drove the 1.5 DCI & 1.6DCi
and both engines have strong points and weaknesses

The 1.6 DCI you wait a bit and than there's surge of Torque which I quite enjoy it almost hits you by surprise

The 1.5 dci is a bit more contínuos and less surprising some people say is smother I didn't felt it.
I have been sleeping in this car when I am travelling around Scotland and Europe for over two years, never fails me" nice to drive, the fuel consumption is great. I had a roof box for more space to keep stuff. You can sleep easily, got a nice double inflatable matress at gooutdoors and all done. Happy with my Kadjar 2019. I will probably change it for the Austral in two years time, I am not in a rush, this car is great!
I just bought one, the model in the video but in that burnt red colour...I love it and holy moly I could drive forever on a tank of diesel! Love the eco mode too.....fab car and dead comfy!

On my 2nd and whilst according to magazine write ups about noise in the cabin, I have to say my 1.6 dci is quieter than my 1.5dci. Superb mileage returns. And that bit of extra bhp certainly gives that extra bit to pull out of harms way. I like the way the hazards come on under full emergency breaking. Well done Renault.

You forgot something very important: If you want to get into the car open the front left/right door and enter. And if you want to get out, just open the door from the inside and step out.

Can you set the lights to be always on? Not in "auto" mode when they're triggered by sun going down, but the mode where they're on when the engine is on.

I have the dynamic s nav part leather and i think it just looks so nice and clean inside i love driving again i love knowin im gettin into it to go drive somewhere 😆 may sound sad but i just love it
@@imanishay its not sad at all just shows your love for cars im the same but sadley i cant drive yet im applying for my provisianol license soon so once i get that ill be able to drive my uncles car he has a kadjar aswell in black i have another question tho dose it have a height adjustment because i have long legs but a kinda short upper body plus i like to be able to see just over the bonet 🙂?

I have 2 dogs to so its great to have a nice size boot because now they travel in there no more dog hairs on my seats.

I have a Nissan musk and I’m upgrading this year. How much bigger is this to the juke? I don’t have a lot of room to get my car into my driveway. It’s really narrow. I really love this car but not sure how much bigger it is. I will probably book a test drive. Great video. Thank you.
It's a lot bigger than the Juke. Essentially the Juke is around the same size as a Clio. Whereas the Kadjar is to the same dimensions as a Qashqai. You'll notice a big difference especially in cabin space as theres much more room in the front and in the back than your current car. If you check out the Renault website www.renault.com all of the dimensions will be on there. However I'd recommend to contact your local dealership and request a home demonstration so you can try the Kadjar on your driveway to make sure it fits, then that way you can be 100% sure whether it's the right car for you.

I have one it's a great car but what is the "ok" button on the steering wheel
Loizos Kyriacou Press and hold OK for example to reset your trip or miles count starting from zero. Also OK is useful when change device for playing music from: CD, usb flash, bluetooth or radio. When scroll up/down song list - OK plays selected song or goes back or directory up in your music list / video folders etc.
Can Renault explain to me the terribly cheap centre console. It’s doing my head in squeaks when you lean into it or going over bumps it spoils what is a great car

Shaun Penn the electric handbrake is very easy to use and in no time you’ll be wondering how you managed so long without one. All it needs is a small pull up with your finger to apply it and a gentle push down to release it.

Renault Retail Group UK Does it need to be pushed down to release it? I was under the impression you just simple accelerate and the handbrake releases itself? I took delivery of a new Kadjar yesterday & also had other cars with auto handbrake

Hello - there is a button on the central drivers mirror with a green light. Does anyone know what this button is for?
A little late but it's the blind side warning . It alerts you to vehicles approaching in the blind area missed by your mirrors . It will turn red .
How to I play music on my Bluetooth it doesn’t work for me
Does the Kadjar always come with the Keyless card or can i also order it with a classic key?
The keyless card actually has a key inside of it in case something wrong happens.
Which one is better this or seat ateca and why?

The Ateca is more sporty, I mean the suspension is a bit firm which is great on the Track and Pointless in real world

I have the same problem, all software is upto date but the option is darkened out but still says connected
You need to download ONE apple song to your phone, connect the phone with your car via bluetooth and play that song. Then your car recognises your phone for other sources (like spotify) as well. I had the same problem....
I had the 1.5dci in auto
Great mpg but lacked get and go
Also had wind noise from passenger front window which dealer said he could not hear, odd as every passenger in the car could hear it
The auto box is awful so avoid it
We have same problem from driver's side window
When I leave my kadjar and my dog is inside the car automatically locks and alarm goes of shortly after. How do I keep car unlocked when my dog or a passenger is inside
When u are far enough away from the car for the doors to automatically lock use the fob to unlock them again, then walk up to the car and open and shut door. This should stay unlocked
@@martinlee922 I worked it out just hold fob and it peeps 3 times to disarm alarm inside carc

How do you shift it in reverse
Pull the lever up on the knob and select reverse
Does it have android auto?
Yes
According with my Tests this car has the most fuel Efficient engines in the World
I mean add 19 inch wheels to a Prius and you won't get half of the MPG a Kadjar is capable of

My turbo failed after being told it was fine to drive on by Renault and it failed now they refuse to fix it despite it being under warranty. Asked me to pay almost £5000 to replace turbo. Disgusting people Renault!

I have a 2019 model..1.3 petrol ..car is ok, but such an annoying vibration from the drivers door...sound system is utter crap as for trying to marry up phone etc ..forget it..Fuel consumption on the other hand is fantastic
