Great review! Currently game the Cut Red and the Wilson Zip as my winter choices and am loving them, thanks to you! I've watched all your reviews and would like your opinion on something. I typically game the BRX-S and love it, but want a second, more forgiving (and cheaper) ball to play on days when I'm not as accurate. I'm going to be trying the regular Q-Star, the Soft Response, and the Get Sum as my second "backup" balls. I know all three are consistent, have good speed and are forgiving, but which, of the three do you think has the best short game spin? Thanks for everything you do!
I am so sorry for the late response. Honestly, Wait a few days and you will have your answer. Im counting down the top 100 balls ive tested. You should be able to find plenty in the top 10.
Still the old logo on the yellow ones I bought just fyi. Great ball it definitely jumps off the club. Drilled one into a tree with a stinger and the cover held up amazing. The only con for me was they were still the old logo, not that big a deal but I was looking forward to trying some of the new ones
Here in Brazil, golf balls are very expensive, so i always play with the 2 piece golf balls... at the moment i´m playing with titleist trufeel, wilson duo soft+ and nitro eclipse, which surprisingly they go very well.

A little suggestion….while I really appreciate your service as an average golfer to give us great info on affordable golf balls, I couldn’t help but notice that your chipping demo rarely makes good contact and when you putt, you have your putter toe up, causing the ball to hook left. I know you’re not a high level player, but here is my suggestions: get a little coaching to get reasonable contact on chips and putts. Also, just show the shots with good contacts, or else the results don’t mean anything. Again, not mean to criticize, but really want you to upgrade an already fine broadcast.
Definitely don't disagree with this. However I will explain myself. I purposely do that. With the green being artificial, it just doesn't get allot of spin. So I purposely keep it low and left to try and get Max results. When I open the face the ball just doesn't spin enough. I am actually a phenomenal chipper around the green. However, my putting is terrible. I would love some coaching on that. Appreciate the feedback. I'll be more mindful in the future. Maybe I can chip a little further off the green as well

I like the cut red as well- the Vice intro ball was a brick no spin/hard as a rock- just ordered some of these, Im anxious to see how soft they are.

This continues to be one of my favorite golf balls. I have shot some of my best rounds with it

Usually about 15 per club. After that I eliminate the bad mishits.
