I just realized that your the Fred that had that terrifying experience in that little cabin just off the river with 2 other guys. You lost your new black shotgun during your escape to the boat. Awesome you have your own channel now.

The one i saw was deadpan af too before it took off after me. I think Jeff going off after it the first timewas a mistake. Art sounds cool as a cucumber lol. Obviousley the one i saw that chased me didnt hurt me but i was on my knees and this thing circled my ass sniffing the hell out of me and my hair. I had bright orange red hair when i was 7 and i knew it was interested in my head. As a 7 year old little girl, my encounter fucked me up but i built back up relatively quick. I cannot imagine being full grown and having that crash of world view and having to rebuild. I hate to tell Jeff, but the r in Cali too.

Wow, hats off to Art!! I like that guy's style. Very calm, cool, collected and brave. That's the kind of person you want in a dangerous situation with you- somebody who doesn't lose his mind with fear the minute things get weird.
I imagine that's the kind of steadfast courage you need in order to live in a region where the hairy man is basically king of the forest. Everybody, raise a glass to Art!

I find it interesting that there are these type encounters, its heartening, at the same time it makes you think. Having been raised in a military family, it was drilled in my head to think tactically and strategically. I've had my own aggressive and peaceful encounters. My mom passed in 2018, and there was a "Tommy knocker" I called it, the 3AM house slaps and never get to see the cause. I was fit to be tied after 2 years of it. Finally I saw a vid where the person just talked to them. So i gave it a go... I've not had a problem since. My grand daughters gave me a puppy last year. So I'm out at odd hours walking her. I started hearing knocks, I think they were just curious, then I got the clearest look at one in the 20 years I've lived here. I think it just wanted me to know they are still here and ok with things. I really enjoy your story telling ability. I can see why you're a council member, you see people for who they are and you feel what they feel having had your own experiences. As I mentioned before I grew up in the honobia area, spent a lot of time with the choctaws as friends. I find them pretty much the same as you mentioned in another vid about how it's a social taboo to speak of these things openly. And pushing it only damages the relationships further. We just treated their existence as a fact of life. The encounters were nothing special unless it turned violent. Which the only one that did, and that was way after I moved from the area, was the siege at honobia.

A Carpenter, who has worked in the bush, so very common sense, been there done that guy, People that speak from experience are great. Super honest. When you have lived life in the sense of meeting people like yourself, you can spot bullshit a mile away and write those people off before wasting your time. You are a straight shooter man. You articulate the story in the detailed description as told to you, and are very well spoken brother. So happy I found this channel. I always tried to use the extended light to keep hunting lol but I was younger then. Been to the Yukon border and live in BC. I love Art, smokin his doobie like another day in the life. Ive known those guys in and without judgement they can be some of the most solid guys in the bush, even tho I would be spun out after two tokes with that situation. Hiding in the corner with my estwing and gun It is a funny story in that regard. Thank you, Mike

I would recommend that Jeff, not go outside of city limits. These beings are everywhere especially California. I from Maryland and have had encounters on the outer loop of 495 of Washington DC next to the Potomac River. It will absolutely shock someone to know these guys are watching you walk down your favorite walking trail. In my home town there are so many walking trails that parallel rivers and power lines. Everyone I have been down there are fresh tree breaks, tree bows a tree learner's or property markers. And when you pay attention to there scent or musk glands, That will help as well to be on high alert. I am not kidding when I say everywhere. There is a walking trail down a old railroad track that people kept seeing what appeared to be to them smelly homeless people. The police where finally called but found no signs of homeless people. These reports came from clerks of the court, lawyers creditably people. So I told one the ladies that see saw a skunk ape. She said what? It was right at dark right and you where probably by yourself? My attention was not to scare her but to bring awareness, to be smart, at least walk at lunch or with someone. I have never heard of a missing person from here. Infact on the same trail a person was assaulting a young lady and was ran off by her words A big black man. It's good to be on alert anywhere, even in a town or city. Evil comes in all forms. Be blessed

There’s a forest that surrounds two sides of the store/shopping center with other stores included. And riding my scooter in the summer was hit with pine cones so hard. Multiple pine cones hit me and this would be my third encounter all together. Pine cones don’t throw very well. Too light so for it to be flying through the air like a 747 jet was not possible if it were a human. I also smelled them saw their wild teepees and huge X’s Glad it wasn’t throwing rocks that day 🫣

Todd is his own worst enemy, his "know it all" attitude is a turn off so people attack his work. I have seen a female very similar to the tan faced one in his video ,very similar and I was about to dismiss the guy until I saw that and then I realized its dudes personality that people hate and use their distaine for fuel to shout him down lol

I'll be outdoors soon enough lol, the documentary isn't an expedition for "proof". I'm Alaskan native we know its out there , the purpose of the channel is to share encounters in Alaska and a cultural journey. Hairy Man in our oral history into modern times along with interviews with witnesses and elders. I won't be whooping in the woods or knocking on anything. However where I'm going to film they are there so I'm sure there will be tracks and all sorts of sign along the journey.

I live 10 miles or there about outside fairbanks and we've had multiple encounters some benign some terrifying we're moving across alaska to go south to try to live without these kind of encounters. But as I speak to other people about unknown or better stated unclassified creatures there is just as many. So I don't think there is anywhere on this planet we can outrun these things or other things that from what I learn even scare sasquatch. Just know God is real saying out loud I rebuke you satan in the name of Jesus Christ will make them leave.

Part of me can empathize with his shock and visceral reaction to his introduction to the existence of Hairy Man.
However, his overreaction to what was conveyed as simple curiosity, stood a real risk of escalating the sasquatch to having justification for more aggressive behavior.
This is honestly one of THE mildest stories I've heard yet involving Alaskan sasquatch, no huffing, no screams, no objects thrown, no hitting the sides of the structure to scare them, etc, etc.
It could've been MUCH worse, and this California normie didn't help his own situation at all, or the conditions of those who kept to their business in the area, the owner and other potential buyer.
I'm a very cautious and security minded individual, but I see sasquatch as any other creature in the wilderness. They LIVE there, I'm just visiting, and as long as you don't pose a threat to me, I'm not going to pose a threat to you. The second you do, it's about survival and I'm going to use every tool at my disposal to win, sorry Hairy Man. But until that point, I'm not going to instigate anything.
Some people just don't belong in nature I guess. 🤷‍♂️
I'll echo all the others that pointed out, that sasquatch live in the lower 48 too, so the only way he's "getting away from them" 100%, is to stick to cities. Which sounds like an awful way to live, lol.

Wouldn't it be fantastic if all we had to do was smoke some weed and say hello to keep them chill? Maybe they are less aggressive in the lower states because of all the weed the hippies grow out in California? lol Killed em with kind bud😂😂😂I'm going to laugh about that to myself all day, another great story!
