this is what real food taste like, nothing from a can, bag or processed all made from scratch, Mexican food is something special.
Just seeing this comment for some reason. You are 100% right.
Actually, authentic mexican food is originally "vegan". Meaning it was all natural free from violence to animals befor european colonization.
The maintaining of slaughterhouses for the consumption of meat is a barbaric european ideological imposition over our original native culture. Therefore, it behooves mexicans and europeans actually to decolonize our diet in order to stop the degradation of our environement and to end the violence and brutality against animals
Mexican food is the best in the world
@@Pamianu I don't know... Italian ranks up there too
@@joshualaird5303
No I think the second is Chinese than American.
And you hardly see Chinese and Americans sells Italian, they go with tacos
I knew he was an authentic gringo when he called the tortilla, “bread”. He just got turned out to the best food he’ll ever eat.
Lmao same thing I thought

I was like does he think it’s pita 🥙 bread 😂
I mean to be fair it technically is a bread.
Married a Mexican so I get these on a frequent basis - gained 25 lbs lol. Great vid
Oh nice! I'm actually semi glad i'm not near that, i'd legit never eat anything else.
I’m already married but if there are any best friends available I have a few slots open! 😂
Marry the Mexican
If you marry a country women from Mexico , most are great cooks. Not all from the city
@@SeaboltSpeaks I love Mexican food I live in middle Tennessee I love every kind of food Chinese and Mexican I could eat Mexican just about every week

As a mexican, I enjoy watching people from other countries eating our food, that´s only the tip of the iceberg man, you´re in it for a treat. Every region or state has it´s own taco or dishes. Hope you come more often and love our food as we do.
Appreciate that!
I remember ducking into a "hole in the wall" Mexican place in Escondido and asked for carnitas and it was hands down the best I have ever had.
Welcome to México amigo. You know it's good when all you can say is "Oh My Lord!" Classic. Awesome video.
The best. Such an awesome place
@@SeaboltSpeaks will you ever travel more down south?
That last spot was Ocotlan in Mexicali, I go eat there at least twice each time I visit. Delicious flour tortillas, the meats are cooked to juicy perfection, and the amount of condiments at the table….ufff, SABROSISIMO!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I went to Mexico in February and got engaged. I always thought "Taco's are better in Mexico" but once you try tacos in Mexico you realize it's true. Not to mention everything taste better. Even Gatorade, sprite etc. lol I always love your videos. Hope you enjoyed yourself.
This 100%. I said the same thing while down there. Nate Adventure just posted a video and in his video I make the statement that I didn't know how to explain it, but everything tasted real there.
It’s so nice to see people appreciate our culture :)
Sprite is caffeinated and has cane sugar you can't get that in the states!
💯! Nothing like a bottled coke in Mexico. Maybe it’s Bc they use cane sugar to sweeten it.
Coke in Mexico is the original one ☝️
Falto el agua de sabor, la coca o la cerveza con cualquiera de estas bebidas el sabor se incrementa extraordinariamente
Aguas frescas 👍🏼
Coca especialmente
I could see the joy in his eyes every time he takes a bite!!
MÉXICO!! You go for the food stay for the people
Thanks for appreciating Mexico food! Always feels good listening to a white man appreciate our country instead of talking shit. I appreciate you!
spaniards came from spain . white europeans . if you forgot or didn't know/.lololol mexicans didn't grow like grass from the dirt.. lol
I loved your reactions. Everything taste real because authentic Mexican food is real fresh ingredients. People don’t understand here in Texas the difference between Tex Mex and real authentic Mexican food. They are soooo different from each other.
Texas has subpar Mexican food compared to California and Arizona, and that “Tex Mex” trash is nothing but terrible Mexican food covered in velveeta cheese and and a generic sauce. The BBQ in Texas is good though.

not that different but theyre each unique in a way
@rose tea like what?
I like them both.
Nothing like roadside tacos cooked fresh. That looks great.
It tastes real, it doesn't taste like everything in America does. 😂 True statement. I grew up and live in California in a Mexican household, so I definitely understand lol. It's real/fresh ingredients, not artificially flavored like most things in America lol. Enjoy!
"...Everything tastes real." Exactly.
Those "hole in the wall"
places are ALWAYS where the best food gems are.
100%
I love being Mexican
yes it comes with heartburn baby

The hole in the wall is called la tormenta del desierto
“The desart storm” in Spanish
That hole in the wall one looked the most tastiest to me, too! The tortilla just.. looked like absolute perfection!
It was. 100%
Mexico - if the women don't make you want to stay the food will. Loved it every time I've been.
Oh boy, the way you eat the tacos makes me hungry. I'm glad you like it. Mexican food is delicious.
Im so glad you have tried our tacos they are SO different from what taco bell sells
Gracias por visitar mi Mexicali Hermoso!!✌️❤️🇲🇽🔥💥🌡️☀️🏜️
Me and my fiance went to Mexico and stay for a month I think I gained about 7 1/2 pounds during that time the food is so delicious.
I just loved it when the taquero from the third place asked them nicely to wash his hands to be able to grab (use) the cucharas👏👏👏
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
This video genuinely makes me happy 😁
Appreciate that
Viva México 😎❤️🤠
The best thing about this is who ever took you to these places took you to the best places out there in mexicali
I found it funny how in the first 10 seconds I instantly knew they were in my Mexicali querido
Thanks brother I was searching for where they went.
The first place they took you to is called "La tormenta del desierto", it's basically part of the Mexicali folklore at this point lmao
They tried taking it down last year because of health and safety concerns (mainly because of covid) so it's even more funny watching you guys go eat there in this video.
The red stalls in the street are also really popular and subject of jokes by the locals, "tacos del ferrocarril". I was surprised they asked you to wash your hands, lol.
I loved it. I hope they never shut it down. I can’t wait to come back to Mexicali!
I'd like to add that things taste really flavorful because the pans, molcajete, chopping board have been used so much that they're seasoned. I remember visiting my uncles taco stand in Mexico and being in love with the flavor. But when he made it homemade at his home for a BBQ, I noticed a significant difference in meat and tortillas. He said it was because he wasn't using his normal equipment and it just made sense. A lot of Mexican equipment is seasoned whether intentionally (molcajete) or unintentionally (other stuff). Regardless, the flavors that they retain through shear usage is insane.
Molcajetes and chopping blocks are usually passed from generation to generation, I still have my grandma’s molcajete who my mom used when I was a kid lol.
08:35 esa taquería se llama "La tormenta del desierto" the Desert storm 👍👍
As an American that grew up on the west coast with real Mexican food, it's strange for me to think that there are Americans that haven't had authentic Mexican dishes. Glad you were able to give it a try.
Growing up in South Texas, we had access to a lot of great Mexican, and Tex Mex cooking, you can tell the really good spots as when yu see the local there, as well as construction workers, lawn care crews etc eating there.
Best tip if the chips, and salsa are bad, the food won`t be any better, and best to look elsewhere. Street tacos are great, my favorite are Al Pastor, Carne asada, and on the weekends Barbacoa, Carnitas, and Birria are good if you can find them.
Mexicali, that's my hometown! The first spot was called La tormenta del desierto (the dessert storm) I grew up just a few blocks away! Unfortunately was closed and reopened so many times, until the government finally shut it down for good! Those tacos were so so good!
LOL at "those bread shells are really crunchy"...Tortillas dude, they're called tortillas. Awesome spot, I want to go there too! :)
Our food is just sooooo good. I am glad you got to try good authentic mexican food.
That's super legit and nice to see, all of you dudes tried on and enjoyed our Mexican food! Even me here in México had a whim on those meals! That was awesome!
los del ferrocarril de cabeza es lo mejor de este mundo
Next time you go to Mexicali, leave some room for some Chinese food, which is the best I’ve ever had. Mexicali has a big Chinese-Mexican history and population and its clear in the quality of Chinese food there, I still get a kick of hearing fluent (and better than mine) Spanish from the owners/servers that are of Chinese descent. Def give it a try bro
IT'S IN MEXICALI
@@eddiebetancourt5360 Mexicali have lot of some of the Best Chinese food! Rosarito does too which is close to mexicali

Buen video compa.
pretty sure, every gringo has this hidden gem of local authentic mexican tacos.... i cant wait to show people it.... its just the fkn best dog
Good for you bro!!
This is wholesome 🥹
Chorizo is indeed amazing
"I dont know what to say it just taste real" LOL That made me laugh so hard because I know exactly what your saying. The food in Mexico will always have more taste than the food here in the states. I have no idea why all that is. And I mean that on just a basic level. For example you could pick yourself up a T-bone steak from your local grocery store here in the states with no seasoning at all and just grill that and eat it. If you were to do the same thing in Mexico you would start to think are they just eating different species of cow down here or something? The taste difference for me still doesn't make sense. And its not just the meat but so many different things.
Yo I was looking for this type of videos and this was recommended to me, I was very surprised to see that it was in my city 😆
Awesome! I love your city!
I went to that place in Mexicali since I was 8 years old
BRO, Welcome to the FAMILIA 🤜🤛

You go all day sampling tacos that sounds like the best trip ever 🙌🏼🌮🤤🤤
Wow I'm sitting in my car at the gym parking lot and I'm loving this!! Wished we had this in New Mexico lol LUCKY MAN GOD 🙌 BLESS
that hole in the wall is called tormenta del desierto , dessert storm its in the city of mexicali baja , they used to give away free abocados with your tacos but no more since they are very expensive.
I think this guy is authentic. I like the video
Nice vid man
The hole in the wall is La Tormenta del Desierto , tacos del ferrocarril and Acatlan. I m from Mexicali now living in the Philippines, Ohh man, I really miss all the food from Mexicali !
I am actually happy for you. Glad you had such a good breakfast. Yummy.
It was so good
That’s real Mexican food! Love it so much. Make sure Xioma gives you a shoutout!
It was so good
Lol the bread. So cute
Greetings gringo friend.
the tacos here in Mexico are very tasty, each business or taco stand has its own.
Even though the first taqueria you visited, there was very little hygiene.
The others were acceptable.
I liked that the taco man asked them to wash their hands before eating.
Good video.
Looks Delicious Yummy 😋
Acatlán! Acatlán! Cómo dice el tío Abel!! Saludos tío!!! 🍻🍻
I like that you a real gringo and you like Mexican food.
Is that the guy who speaks perfect chinese, and korean, and mandarin???? The guy with the grey shirt?? Saludos y que disfruten la comida Mexicana ✌🏽
its always the hole in the wall that has thr best food!
Amigos!
I like that the vendor asked to wash their hands in order to handle the utensils, 5 stars
I saw the thumbnail and was like eso es Mexicali 😅
Baja California style tacos with the hand made flour tortillas, that’s rare the best tacos ever I bet, everywhere else in The US the norm for tacos is corn tortillas but in Baja you have to ask for corn.
That's a flour tortilla, not bread. Glad you enjoyed Mexican food!
Quesabirria tacos are my favorite 😋
Yess
Hey man! Nice vid!! We love tacos as well!!! You can probably taste the best tacos of carnitas, tacos al pastor, tacos de canasta, fish tacos and tacos of barbacoa in Mexico City. There is another kind of tacos in Monterrey which are called de asada they are awesome too man!!! Greetings
Don’t go to Mexico to lose weight 😂
Absolutely right haha.
Or go to Mexico if you wanna gain weight! Haha
I stayed in Mexico for 3 weeks....and let's say my A1C lwered, lowered my diabetes, and dropped over 12 pounds. Eating tacos, burritos, and staying the hell away from most fast foods.
@@bluehavencd you lost 12 lbs in three weeks?
Actually , Mexico doesn't have all of the food additives and processed foods that we have in the United States which make us gain weight , eat more in mexico and actually you will not be gaining weight like you would up here in the United States I know because I lived in Tijuana for years.
Ooooooh yeah my mouth started salivating at 4:47
Hey Xioma está contigo!!! Saludos a ambos amigos!
Hahaha, Xioma is in the video too, incredible.
