Thankyou for reacting to this beautifully sung song by John. I hope some of those in the hurricane hit areas can hear it and feel encouraged- God is with them.😊
So special. Not just an amazing song, sung perfectly, but also an amazing man doing his thing the help people to survive after an horrific drought..perfect song for the the cause. We are all praying for the people affected by Milton
My prayers go out to all those who have to deal with the hurricanes. This song was sang by John to those in Australia who had to deal with the drought. This song i believe was written in the 1940s and played on broadway. Love the message of the song and no one can perform it better then John.
Thanks for showcasing our Aussie King of Hearts, Farnsie! 'You'll Never Walk Alone' was composed by Rodgers & Hammerstein for their 1945 musical, Carousel. Fans of English football (soccer) club, Liverpool, adopted the song after Gerry & The Pacemakers released their version in the early 1960's. Everyone from Andrea Bocelli to Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones and more have released their own version. Had John Farnham chased international fame & fortune, l believe those great performers would have welcomed him into the 'Best Of' club. He could perform in any genre, and make the song shine like no other.
All i can say about this is Beautiful! I don't think it was meant to be Gospel (I could be wrong) but it was on an Aretha Franklin gospel album and an Elvis Presley Gospel album.
Oh thanks so much for this beautiful reaction Honi, your face says it all. John always gives a hand whenever the call comes...I'll leave this video here for you just because this is years later in 1999 when he flew to East Timor where our soldiers were protecting the East Timorese from harm when Indonesia invaded their Island home. John singing in the openair with all the love he could give to our soldiers & people of East Timor ua-cam.com/video/tEyg1dIcqCE/v-deo.html
