Live is the only way to watch these guys...the energy she gives is great.
Everything on the "Rumors" Album is really Good.
Its not from rumours but from the album (Fleetwood Mac) from 1975. I think the album is better than rumours.
@@augusttornquist1733 So do i.
Yes everything on the Rumors album is fantastic...BUT...the LIVE VERSION is always the best with Fleetwood Mac... just as you seen with Rhiannon....Stevie and FM always put everything into their live performances...
Both albums are absolute classics from start to finish.
Mind blowing performance, isn't it 😃😃😃
Yep - Stevie got two more. 😍😍😍
My friends, you have just witnessed what maybe the greatest live performance ever...
No auto - tune, no lip - sync, just pure magical talent.
Indeed. This is why I've been listening to a lot of old school music - Fleetwood Mac, Dolly Parton, Mario Lanza, Elvis Presley(!).... these are the true magicians in their craft, with incredible voices who perform with true passion.
Elton John performing Pinball Wizard with The Who in 1989 live is the best live music performance in the history of mankind!
I agree. Stevie was possessed in this show. It doesn't get any better.
This is one of the rare occasions where the live versions is better than the recording. In the recorded version, Lindsey doesn't have that fantastic guitar solo, and Stevie doesn't do that incredible vamp at the end. Stevie is an absolute Goddess. There is a reason she is the only woman to be inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in both a band and as a solo artist. As someone else mentioned here, her live performance of Edge of Seventeen (a song from her first solo album) is essential viewing, as well as the 1997 live version of Landslide from Fleetwood Mac's The Dance.
Nobody that I’ve seen ever talks about the fact that, except for the first one, all the choruses have completely different lyrics than the record version. And they’re better here!
@@sarahzentexas I agree! Everything about this live version is better than the record, and the record is a classic!
They are (Fleetwood Mac) are so good live...🎶🎵❤️
@@sarahzentexas I’ve never noticed!!!
IMHO Most bands from the past were better live than on their studio recordings. The bands were able to really highlight different aspects of a song with their vocals and instruments. Every concert I went to, except Van Halen (David was plastered), were better live than their studio recordings. Now people use backing tracks, auto tune and other crap so live performances are not better or as unique. Many popular performers today don’t sing well.
The guitar solo you’re craving is in Fleetwood Mac’s live 1982 performance of I’m So Afraid.
Live 1980, Cleveland, OH is the best version.
My favorite Fleetwood performance. I watched this on tv when it aired.. as a young girl.
Saw them in 2014. A reunion tour that was one of my favorite ever concerts. Glad you watched them
I saw them in a little high school size gym in Johnstown PA in 1976. Met Stevie and Christie while walking into the gym while in an extremely altered state of mind. Best concert ever. Sat on the gym floor in the fron row
Love your excitement. It makes we feel the same. Every time I hear it
I still see them every time they’re in NY. They’re still AMAZING!
Fleetwood Mac are epic they had the 2 best female singers of the 70's with Stevie Nicks and the sublime Christine McVie, to hear Christine at her hauntingly beautiful listen to Song Bird also from Rumours it is effortlessly beautiful
Fleetwood Mac is off the charts on everything and are one of greatest bands live.
🤘🤘❤🤘🤘😁✌🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Oh gentlemen!!!! Such a fantastic rabbit hole!!!!
I love how you mention there being a lack of female leads in the 70s, that’s awesome. We’ve come a long way thankfully
You must listen to the entire Rumors album! I am 63 and I had all their 8 track tapes in my car. Ha. The Edge of Seventeen! Must listen.
One of my fav bands ever! All great musicians, more than one songwriter in the band and this tiny woman with one of the most distinctive voices ever.
They are amazing live. First concert I went to. I was 12. I've seen 7 or 8 times. Each one of them is incredibly talented.
Check out Stevie's live performance of Stand Back from the 80's show Solid Gold. She also performed Nightbird on that same show.
Nightbird is such an underrated song.
I knew you guys would love this, Great reaction.
Fleetwood Mac is so good they don't need a studio. You guys really get it😷🍺
I nearly just pissed myself, when the one brother said that Stevie Nicks had a nice haircut...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
When you can do this live.....once again- talent. 😎Enjoy!
It's too bad that it's so hard to get a reaction video of Fleetwood Mac on UA-cam because most of those videos get removed, but I'm telling you guys- check out their live performances of Sisters of the Moon from 1979 and 1982. I promise you won't be disappointed. That song is so underrated and they ROCK IT OUT. At one point in the 1979 performance the crowd goes absolutely crazy. I've never seen anything else like it, and I've been to a lot of rock concerts. Fleetwood Mac fuqqin ROCKS.
There is another amazing singer to pay attention to in his group named Christine. Listen to her songs please
You bro's really need to get back to 'Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac', their beginnings. The original "Black Magic Woman" (written by Peter Green), then "Oh Well", "Green Manalishi", "Albatross" ... so many outstanding masterpieces in the early days. The 'Then Play On' album, "Tell Me All the Things You Do" ... and the ladies took Fleetwood Mac to the next level of magical creation through the 70's an 80's. 😷👍👍
The guitar solo is abbreviated on purpose, because it picks up again at the end when all of the elements come together.
Gold dust woman from the dance is phenomenal!!!! If you do the chain live, do the one from the mirage tour.
If you liked the studio Chain and you loved this, then check out the 1982 live version of the Chain. It has the extended guitar solo you want.
"I'm So Afraid' live from 1976.
Live 1980, Cleveland, OH is the best version.
The best live version I have seen is Silver Springs They have broken up, Stevie and Lindsay and she is staring right at him and he responds with incredible guitar
I love this song soo much that I named my youngest daughter Rhiannon.
the chain live 1982. The guitar solo at the end is phenomenal. You won't be disappointed.
Icon legend queen of rock ‘n’ roll there aren’t enough words to describe Stevie
Next live version of Fleetwood Mac: Big Love 1997. Amazing video with the guitarist at his absolute best. Much better than the original, it's like night and day!
You have to check out the really early Fleetwood Mac stuff. This version of the band was great, but they were a completely different band when Peter Green started the band in 1967. Fleetwood and McVie were in the band, but it was Peter's band. They started off as a blues band, then went into blues rock. Even after Peter left they were still somewhat like the original band for a while. By the time Buckingham and Nicks joined they were more rock/pop oriented. Still great, just completely different. Some great early songs to check out are 'The Green Manalisihi',' Man Of The World', 'Albatross', the Boston Tea Party live versions of 'Black Magic Woman (Peter Green wrote it) and 'Jumping At Shadows'. More mind blowing stuff, trust me.
Fact #1 about Music and the Bands in the 1970's Every Vocal and Every Note in Every Performance was Live, Recorded without any Remix, No Pre-Cut Feed In's.
Pure as the Driven Snow. AND the Studio Cut Album's were of Inferior Quality then the Live Stage Performances.
Una maravilla. Esteve Nicks es maravilloso. Fleewood Mac son una banda impresionante. PLEASE. Listen some song singing
with Cristine Mcvie. Is beautiful too.
Always leave you wanting more. It's an old show business secret.
The chain will always be f1 for me lol i grew up with it
GIRLS are ROCKERS TOO😃
Fleetwood Mac
"The Chain"
Live official video
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
You need to see Mick Fleetwood on drums.
😊✌💙
the live version of their song Big Love is fantastic! Particularly the version from The Dance, or rather the concert that would become the live album, The Dance. Here's the link so you can easily find the right one! ua-cam.com/video/mZZp76M4NGc/v-deo.html
Silver Springs, live, 1997, the Dance. Except Stevie Nicks is 20 years older, not as hot as she was in 1976. But still fabulous in every way.
Yes she is beautiful. My crush still.
I highly advise listening to the studio versions first.
If you want an FM tune that is out of this world, must check last song on FM white album. Named "I'm so Afraid" it will blow the Bro's away. Cheers, Chicago Ray
Fleetwood Mac are class, Lindsey buckingham is a legend on that guitar, Bro react to U2 Live at slane castle - All I Want is u/ the streets have no name amazin
I wish this EXACT live version was on iTunes....
You should really do Gold Dust Woman, a song Stevie wrote about her cocaine addiction at the time. Haunting lyrics and music.
Happy New Year to you Brothers You're the best love you guys
hey guys check out dreams, go your own way and monday morning all are great tracks
Please listen to Dreams live performance from them. Same era it’s incredible
You want to see more women in rockin roll. Check out HEART, Barracuda. It's a great live video of the band with two female sisters who sing together and play guitar. They are a great talent you should check out.
Definitely check out Heart - Barracuda, Magic Man, and Crazy On You are their best. Also check out The Runaways, the all-female 70's band (try Cherry Bomb), and Blondie (female lead - try One Way Or Another, and Dreaming).
Yes indeed!!
Or Heart's Stairway to Heaven tribute to Led zeppelin.
Yesssss please!!!
There’s a all female band called Fanny no cap they’re brilliant they didn’t take off in the 60’s but they have a killer track called ‘ ain’t that peculiar’ it’s so good an all female band on lead guitar, keys, bass, drummer worth recommended too honestly :)
Stevie Nicks Fact Number 457: She never ever lip synced a song. Ever.
Stevie Nicks, just gorgeous and one of the greatest female rock vocalists ever, the first woman to be inducted into the Rock&Roll Hall of Fame twice. She also wrote this and many others of the FM greats.
She and Joni Mitchell were at the top of their game.
The ONLY woman who has ever been inducted twice
This album came out in '75 and every male child between 13 & 30 fell in love with Stevie Nicks. It helped that the music was killer also.
It wasn't just the males that fell in love with Stevie Nicks.
Yes and I was one of them lol
Many a box of Kleenex was used.
I was Five!! when this was released, and I found out then what Pure Lust was !!!! not only for Stevie but for the pure genius that is Fleetwood Mac !!!
True.
“Tusk” with the USC marching band is a great one by them.
Yes yes yes!!!
righty right
Stevie's baton twirling, love her!
I love that version of Tusk, Although the quality of the video I saw wasn't that great. It still deserves a reaction. ☮🖤🤘
There is a second Live version of Tusk done on stage. It may have been been during The Dance concert performed many years later.
Stevie Nicks is genius!!! One of the most distinctive voices in music history!!! You'll never get enough of her once your hooked!!!🎶🎼🎵😊💜 And Lindsay Buckingham on guitar is one of the guitar Gods of the 70's!!! Enjoy the ride and the addiction!!! Loved your faces through this one....you were both completely mesmerized!!!💜💜💜💜
This performance is so good I've probably watched it at least 50 times and the guitar solo still gives me chills every time, as does Stevie rocking hard on the vocals at the end. Timeless kickass rock performance, one of the best ever.
There is a live video of Fleetwood Mac doing The Chain. Lindsey Buckingham does a guitar solo at the end of the song that is incredibly. It's from a live concert in 1982. Silver Springs is another outstanding live video with Stevie Nicks singing lead vocals. It's a magnificent live performance from 1998 I think. I saw them live in 1979 during the Tusk tour when I was stationed in Hawaii when I was in the USMC. They are a remarkable band for all times.
@Keith Etherington You are so lucky to have seen them ! I've seen a lot of concerts over the years but somehow missed them. :(
@@theblackcat5416 I wanted to see them again but it was hard getting tickets to their concerts.
i saw the Tusk tour also at Madison Square Garden, i was 15! and i've seen them and Stevie solo over 50 more times after that. so many great memories :)
@@TheMike_I Nice, great venue.
I was there at that concert, what a night
Stevie Nicks. The Edge of Seventeen. Saucy.
'Edge Of Seventeen" is a great song, but just to let the brothers know, this is a song Stevie Nicks sang when she went solo.
@@allisterfiend_2112 got into the HOF 2nd time solo ❤️🎶🎵
Love Stevie Nicks' voice! This is an epic live performance of Rhiannon! Stevie's vocals are incredible!! Try The Chain & Gold Dust Woman.
You want some women who rock ? How about Heart's "Barracuda" or Joan Jett and the Blackhearts "I Love Rock and Roll" ? They will blow you away !!!
✌❤🌻😷🎶
Lita Ford- Kiss Me Deadly, Janis Joplin- Piece of My Heart, Linda Ronstadt- You're No Good.
Just iconic. You can't beat the magic...and Stevie cast her spell.
Stevie only got better through the years. She is still great
as did Lyndsay tbf. His solo Big Love rendition was astounding but Yeah Stevie is like a vintage wine
gotta disagree with you there...this and rumors, and mirage i suppose, is the top of her game. i think the drugs, age, and touring took a toll on her voice and could never be this powerful anymore. just my opinion...love the mac and stevie.
"Dreams unwind love's a state of mind"
Bro's, You'll love their "Go Your Own Way", "Say You Love Me" and "Silver Spring". The last one live from 'The Dance' 1997. Just their Rumours album itself sold over 45 million copies worldwide. Great band
This live version is the best I've seen for this song. The ending is epic, on a lot of the other versions the ending is shorter, like the studio version.
Fleetwood Mac - Dreams. I think y’all will like it even more than Rhiannon.
For the epic live version by Fleetwood Mac you have to go with "I'm so Afraid" from "The Dance" concert.
Yes please. Lindsey Buckingham is epic is this song.
Or the Rosebud film of I'm So Afraid from 76 ??
Every single song from "The Dance" is amazing. I still listen to that cd almost daily.
@@LuckyMMMBop Indeed, their best live album captured them in the shape they would not ever be before or later. For me it's the same, I listen to The Dance very often when I turn to Fleetwood Mac.
@@tenchmagic This version is much better. I can practically hear the taste of the coke drip.
React to Sisters of the Moon by Fleetwood Mac live tusk tour 79/80. That performance is so good and the audiences reaction near the end is crazy.
Or the live performance from the ‘82 Mirage tour. But her raising her hand in that ‘80 performance and the whole crowd coming to their feet and going wild is really something.
Just a comment, gents: You’ve listened to allot of hard rock from the late sixties, the seventies and I think into the eighties....These are mainly guitar driven bands because that’s what hard rock was....guitar driven. But other bands were not. They were more ensembles and perhaps concentrated on keyboards or the blend of the music rather than the long gobsmacking guitar riffs. You’ve just listened to two of them; Chicago and Fleetwood Mac. Both those bands had OUTSTANDING lead guitar players in them, but because they are not guitar driven bands, the players did not go off into long star-power solo riffs. Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac is one of the best, as was the player in Chicago. But you won’t see them do a solo like Jimmy Page, or Hendrix. They’re more like Brian May of Queen, or Eppu in Nightwish who have their moments but mainly play to the song.
Choose any song from the concert "The Dance". You won't be disappointed.
Woot!!! #StevieNicks #Fleetwoodmac #Rhiannon
Thank you DUDES!! 🎶🎶🎶🎶
Chills EVERY SINGLE TIME!
This version is the best one of all the live version that were done of this song I.MO.
I just found out about this performance, and I cannot stop watching the video or any reactions to it. Every time I watch this version, I feel I’m a bit more anointed by her!
guitarist is Lindsay Buckingham, has had quite the career...
Go your own way, live in 1982. My favourite Fleetwood Mac performance along with this one
I fucking love you guys! After this pandemic I'm coming to Georgia and buying you both a beer or 12! Cheers 🍻
I've been in love with stevie for 50 years. That's all I've got to say
Their albums were much more toned down for commercial appeal... like pop songs. Live they amped it up and songs were longer and more powerful. The show they played on had time restrictions for length of song so the guitar jam and piano interludes were cut way back. Fleetwood Mac in the late 70’s early 80’s perhaps was height of their jamming ability. I am glad you got to experience this side of them. Stevie has one of the strongest and effortless and totally unique voice. Most of the time she didn’t have the songs to let it fly. There is a version of Beauty and Beast her song from her album that is done with an orchestra live that is stunning.
Every guy in the 70's fell in love with Stevie Nicks. She is so beautiful and sings like an Angel. You should watch this video of her and Tom Petty and the Heartbreaks (another great band you need to react to). Tom Petty wrote this song and gave it to Stevie.
ua-cam.com/video/H5i7j0VhEHw/v-deo.html
Heart - “Barracuda”.. please. Fleetwood Mac album “Rumours” every song is a winner.
This song was actually on the album prior to Rumors! All the songs on Rumors are amazing! The fact that Rumors even came to fruition is a miracle in itself! Stevie (singer) and Lindsey (guitar guy with the fro) were going through a bitter breakup. Stevie began an affair with Mick (the drummer). Christine McVie (keyboardist) and John McVie (other guitarist) were going through a divorce and if I remember correctly, she was sleeping with one of their roadies. And it was all fueled with mass amounts of cocaine!
The next Fleetwood Mac song you should give a listen to is 'Dreams', I can not find a decent live version of it where she performs with Fleetwood Mac (she went solo in the 80's), but the official video is nice.
Official video of that song is the best version
You should do a reaction to TUSK - The Chain ( Worlds # 1 Tribute to Fleetwood Mac )
Here's The Chain official music video live....you may not be able to do a reaction to it but enjoy anyway...
Watch "Fleetwood Mac - The Chain (Official Music Video)" on UA-cam

Evelyn Here....OK....Women in Rock in the seventies......Of Course, Stevie Nicks.....so many guys had a crush on her......but if you talk about women in rock, probably MOST people of my generation would immediately say to look at HEART. Ann Wilson, one of the strongest voices in rock, male or female. Her sister, Nancy Wilson, also a great voice and TOP acoustic and rhythm guitar. Great band. Were huge in the late seventies. I think you’ve already seen them in the Led Zeppelin tribute from 2012 Kennedy Center Honors? I’ll have to double check to see if you’ve done that.....Anyway, they killed Stairway that night, so you can imagine what they were like 35 years earlier.
you guys are beautiful very good looking guys!!! Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham also beautiful and wrote the best songs thats why Rumours is still one if the best albums of all time!!! im only 42 so this was my parents best album!!
well done folks....I truly enjoy your reactions (and how you analyze) for sure you know what high quality music is made off... :-)
Awesome Performance. I used to think I didn't like Fleetwood Mac and my sister got me back into them.
Can you react to Grace performed live on the BBC by Jeff Buckley?
Love you guys....you should really listen to the official music video of Rhiannon its ridiculous the midnight special is good but the other is crazy good...
Also, check out "Big Love" live from the Dance album. Truly amazing guitar on that one.
When he whispered "it's like magic..." LOL - there's a reason she's called "The Witch"
Pat Benatar is also a phenomenal female rock singer.
My favourite Lindsey Buckingham guitar solo is on ‘I’m So Afraid’, live, 1976. STRONGLY recommend this.
EVERY teenage boy from the 1970s was in love with Stevie Nicks
@Diana Gero was she? (looks wise)
I see several different live versions of I'm So Afraid being recommended, but inexplicably no one is mentioning the best version of that song by far: Live 1980, Cleveland, OH. Audio only, but this is Buckingham at his peak. The other versions are nowhere close.
