No export errors this week ✊ Hope your new years' resolutions are still in place (mine aren't 😓) - next week we change gear to the distant future with something for those trucking on in Round 2!
This is what I was looking for, although I didn't know what or how to ask the questions you answered in this video. Thank you so much for everything you do. This is super helpful in my early stages of needing an MBA soon thoughts!
Thank you for doing this Angela and team! Found you 2 days ago. This might be a little premature statement but I am listening to each and every word that you are saying in these videos and it just feels like that are all for me. I truly appreciate the openness that you share and some of the things you mentioned in some of your videos were like background voices in my head so I can connect with you instantly and am sure anyone who is considering MBA as an option will find your content invaluable. This is just a token of motivation for you and your team because you are doing a fabulous job and I just wanted to reciprocate in some way. Just keep doing what you are doing and love your authencity! I will sign up sometime soon in future to meet you virtually and yes, I am doing an MBA 100 & 1000% confirmed (your videos only multiplied my intuition and belief). Thanks again!
3:36 this describes my current situation. I promoted at my job at the end of December and I’ll be hitting year 4 next week. With all the change happening at my job; the new responsibilities I have; and training new employees I figured nows not the time for me to apply. However I do plan to start studying for my GMATs this fall with the goal of applying for the fall 2025 or 2026 semester.
So certain that an MBA is the right move. I'm a seasoned Entertainer but I've reached the ceiling and I've reached the maturity level to think beyond entertainment. My desire is to broaden my mind and horizon and to develop myself into a formidable leader, and also be exporatble.
I really appreciate these videos, especially the Bob series. Unrelated, I also really appreciate your fashion and would love to know where you find your blouses.
Nice Content! Yesterday, the Wall Street Journal published an article stating the issues MBA graduates at top business schools are having when it comes to looking for their first post MBA job. What can you say to the prospective applicant looking at this information and now may reconsider getting an MBA? How important is this information for prospective applicants?
Hi Mike, it's obviously something any would-be applicant needs to be wary of given the shocking statistics (over 2x as many job-seekers 3 months after graduation at HBS in 2023 vs. 2021!). The big problem is it's impossible to extrapolate anything from the data: we don't know what will be the case in 2027/8/9. For one, the statistics go back to 2021 for a reason: it was an anomalous pandemic recruitment frenzy (a recruitment pandemic?). The "shocking" statistics of 2023 are still better than pre-pandemic levels! The WSJ article has a very compressed graph that hints to this. But will the trend continue and the job market restrict more and more for MBAs? Maybe, but it would be a surprise! We're keeping an eye on the top school statistics (be wary of general MBA stats now as the explosion of MBA programs mean more and more schools with few industry links/ networks/ reputation).
Thank you for the video! I'd love your input on the situation.. - I am about 4 years into my career. - Been at a director level for two years now - Have learned some here / there this past year but things seem pretty flat line - At a company where even if I advance and get a promotion.. not too much will change since I'm at the top of my marketing food chain - Thinking of going for an MBA to vy for an executive level position and have some impact on the larger business as a whole, or get a different job at a larger company with the ability to do that. Obviously, it's tough to give specific input but I'd love yours. Thanks!
This is 100% what the MBA is for: Radical upgrades for people who want more. If you've maxed out your learning curve and are looking for a change that gets you to higher places, there is no better step than the MBA. Keep in touch!!
Hi there! I don't know what LE means and it is not necessary to have professional experience pre-MBA if you come from the military - that is also a very relevant kind of professional experience. So you should be good to apply now either way.

8 years military with 2 years of LE. Would this qualify as sufficient professional experience in your opinion?
