I used Neutrogena makeup remover wipes, had the sticky goo removed in 10 minutes, came out beautiful and clean, also good to use them on the air vent bezels and other buttons, be careful around the white lettering, the wipes will remove the lettering if your not careful
Some people can’t wrap their heads around the fact that a cleaned plastic part looks nothing like a properly painted part with non rattle can paints. As the owner of Sticky RX, we use nothing but professional coatings.
Hi Dave. Your service is the best option for those who want OEM finish (and maybe better). This is just a tip for the rest of DIY'ers that are fine with a good looking alternative that may also need to prioritize their repair expenses differently. I can honestly say that my finish is 200% better than what I started with, according to my passengers and me. Thanks for the comment.
@ I understand everyone has individual needs and meet individual budgets. I generally only make comments when someone makes a statement that a cleaned parts looks as good as new. I comment because that is misinformation. If a plastic injection molded part looked that good, they would never have been painted to start with.
