Hey Levi, my friend got me into your videos and i can’t really stop watching (which is an issue). I love how I can watch your videos all the way and not get bored, and I can watch them on 2x speed and still understand. I wanted to know if you’d consider making a video about common mistakes and some basic theory ideas that beginners fall into? I’m a struggling 11-1200 player that made it to 1300 and fell all the way mostly because of stupid mistakes and atrocious foresight. I was wondering if you could explain some theory ideas that aren’t necessarily part of a specific opening sequence so that people like me can better understand the intricacies of the game. I’m thinking ideas like poisoned pawns, fianchettoes, how to swarm pawns, knight and queen traps, things like that.
Isn't it unfair if you don't know the time control before hand? I mean you should know that information when your guessing as it can greatly influence your guess, a 1200 user on a bullet game could be playing at a 600 level only because he always plays rapid for example. I would advocate for including the time control information when examining the game to make the guessing more justifiable. Not knowing that information is quite literally a gamble which is definitely unfair when you are able to view every move of the game.
