Me and a buddy and our boys were walking around there where the marina was and all the water was completely gone and just hard mud. We found a cell phone that had a memory card on it and I was able to recover some pictures. It was about spring of 2012 and someone was fishing, had taken pictures of the area, took pictures of their cork, and the last picture was real close to the water LOL
Major water restrictions and conservation could easily end this. Big middle finger to those who constantly water their lawns, this video is a DIRECT result of those demonstrating excessive usage.
Anyone got a picture of what the Marina used to look like?

What about the 1980 Drought? That was a drought. Captains Cove when it was a sailing marina, did not have 18 inches of what most places.
I'm moving to that area and to look at what it is today is sad! Is there a dam nearby to fill it up? Scoot ya seats up!
Brian Goins there's the dam of lavon lake which is north on Ray hubbard
