I think the real power is in how deceptively simple it is to apply to basically any effect. Especially in Poiyomi, vertex glitching, dissolves, rim lighting... there's no extra work. It's basically just a check box. (okay so dissolves are totally a pain in the ass to make look good but applying AudioLink to it isn't any additional work on top of that :p)
Also, if you dont feel like looking for the audio link avatar you can get to it quickly by right-clicking in the hierarchy then in the context menu select Audiolink > Add Audiolink Prefab to Scene.
in the current version, changes you make in play mode _are_ saved, so you can just have the audio playing and change values to instantly see the difference
update as of 7/12/2023 so i used poiyomi pro it helped alot god i love pro my friend said oh its not working because its TOON. also i learned for my avi in creator companion thats avi manger 3.0. it broke my free avi personal it error me and would not let the scene play same with av3 emulator. but anyway u have to switch from TOON TO PIO i loved pro so i suggest this most fixes alot of issues. look up how to switch shader materials for vrchat in unity if you are new to this like i am. p.s. everything else worked 10/10 on this tutrol just giving a heads up if anyone runs into issues like i did because yeah unity goes BRRRRRR!

Any chance you could do an updated physbones tutorial with the new quishybones? I managed to get something working using an npc that I had originally set up jiggle physics using dynamic bones. I tried using physbones using the new update and it worked the first time around but after a new update today it broke again.
No, if it's trying to, move the audiolink test widget out of the avatar, its supposed to be a child of the scene, alongside and parallel to the avatar.
I created an wireframe texture in blender with one of my models and made that an emission. I just haven't messed with poiyomi audio link for a long time, seems they changed it alittle bit.

Awh man- I was under the pretense that this would allow me to play audio from my avatar and have audio link do some cool stuff with it- but after a few other video watching it seems like I was mistaken lol. Wish that was a little more clarified.
@@onbekend1631 The problem is that I wanted to put music on my own avatar to play when I wanted to in any world and have audio link that way. Not world specific and unable to play my own music. (And not from another persons music either.)

you can't, the lights only react to voice or world audio (from mmd worlds, ect) this way
