Inspiring all right!!, you're such a trooper Lane. Sharing your experience is not vain as, as you said, it can help motivating others; and you are doing it with so much humbleness anyway. I'm sure people are lifted by your positive attitude but also by the fact that you don't hide your vulnerability, that is very special (specially in the paragliding world with "big men" with "big ego" ).
Great question! I'll be doing my prosthetic limb training in Seattle. Unlikely there will be flying weather - I want more than a sledder. Probably get airborne around the end of the year in SW Utah or in AZ
Sorry to get personal, but what happened to cause your amputation? Was it your hang gliding accident? Or cancer? I watched two,of your videos but did not catch the reason. Sorry if it was there and I just missed it. Thanks.
Feeling hopeful! I'll learn more after tomorrow afternoon's appointment. We're working on an alternative suspension system - one that doesn't put pressure on the tip of the titanium screw on the inside of my knee.
You work so hard to make things positive and elevate others sharing what you've learned, you deserve all the best.
Your kind words are appreciated. I'm delighted to learn simply striving to live a life well lived inspires others

Seems like you're doing well! You are quite the philosopher! Do you think you will be flying soon?
