Thanks again for the seminar, super informative! Just did some eggs the other day and on day they smelled fantastic on day 9! Can’t wait to break them out
Thank you very much have been fishing them for over 20 years when the only place to get them was in Eastern wa. At a place called grumpys like to have a few blends on hand. Thanks again
That the salinity level is below 100%, absolutely no issues with it just add another 1/4-1/2 cup rocksalt. That way you know your at 100% and you have that visual indicator (visible rock salt) in the jar. 👍
Keith have you every mixed the egg cure like the shrimp cure with water then added oils and scents and put your eggs in the jar. Thinking outside the box.
I haven’t. I’ve always used the egg cure as I describe it. When fishing eggs, the eve before I’ll lay the eggs out on paper towels and add the scents I want to use. Or the day of fishing I’ll add a few drops of whatever concoction I have and deploy them 👍 Scent concoctions are key as I’ll get into describing once we get back into egg fishing season for fall salmon 😁
I personally haven’t fished that fishery yet, you’re tempting me though. Off the cuff, I’m thinking water temps are low 60’s I’m guessing? That leads me to the tuna oil from the can and smelly jelly salmon hammer. Or you could try it without the tuna and use the procure squid in the tuna oils place.
@ultimateshrimpcure do you know what some of the main scents/ingredients are in the smelly jelly salmon hammer? I used to use it all the time with decent success but have started to move away because I don’t know what’s in it and what conditions are ideal to use it. Same with the “stalker”
Great info Keith 👍
Thanks!

Your setup for prawn/ shrimp spinners for spring chinook? Your videos are awsome thanks for sharing your knowledge
Sounds good. I’ve touched on a few of my set ups but I’ll do another with more specifics for sure 👍
Presentations would be great!
Working on it!…. Will do some live feed stuff as the weather gets better when out in the boat 👍

Are these less fire truck red and more pink?
Yes super bright pink when finished. Like vibrant pink
Where in woodland do you get ur shrimp?
Edge Pro Shop look their phone number up online they can ship the Ultimate Shrimp Cure as well.
Do you add salt to the other 2 cures
If I’m fishing them inside 2 months I won’t. But if there a chance they’re gonna be in the fridge 2+ months I add 1/2 cup ice cream rock salt
