As far as herbs go, there is a good deal of scientific research on ashwagandha showing physical and mental benefit, none of which was covered in this video. what was covered is that when herbs become popular they can be unnecessarily added to products (often topical and cosmetic ones) where it has no benefit. I've taken it. It alleviates stress, it decreases stress. But that also means that you're less productive and motivated to do things. So it's a give and take. Calling it an adaptogen is misleading.

Exactly- these Ayurvedic herbs are in the news, so they make a report on them. Then they try to appear like it’s balanced, but it’s actually very biased. If they wanted people to safely use this herb, all they would have to do is say, go to a reputable Ayurvedic practitioner, and they will guide you.
It’s an amazing herb! Life altering for me. I doubt these folks have ever tried it !

Do you take morning ,night, or both ?
@@Phoenixhunter157 - 650mg every morning.
@@shanti888 nice. Does it not make you sleepy? I just got some , took it last night. I was extra tired but wasn’t sure if it was the herb or just me. Wanted to try in the morning. Thank you !
Great plant, but remember not to over do it and to take breaks. Works great for anxiety and great energy booster, great in natural stacks
It’s my first time hearing about this natural herb 🌿 and I’m happy that I came across video of it treating a number of aliments in the body I just want to know where can I purchase the medicine 😊😊😊
Whole Foods got it
It is not snake oil I have been taking it on and off for 2 years and it helps me sleep helps my anxiety. I have seen an increase in lean muscle mass (especially my stomach flattened out) Any way I'm sure many vested interests would like you not to be healthier.
Is there any actual evidence that's supported by some kind of legit study of it being able to do any of this? I understand that it was of help for you, but that's just one anecdote.
There is also vested interest in making this go viral in order to suck people of money.
@@Amor_fati.Memento_Mori There are reserch papers just google it. Compared to other supplements its pretty cheap too.
@@Amor_fati.Memento_Mori yes there is actually research claiming it helps for anxiety. This doesn't make it 100% sure it works but how it looks now it seems to work. (I'm a third year bachelor neuropsychology student so it's kind of in my field)(but don't take this to extremely serious because if only looked at it for like 30 minutes). But i will be trying it out :)
Our grandmother's recommend it in Ethiopia we have a local name ግዛዋ Gezawa. Sadly it was considered old fashioned.
As ethiopian myself I'm super excited to know this knowledge is even in my home country. Now I can tell all my fellow ethiopians in Ethiopia about this amazing herb 🌿 🙌🏾
Ayurveda is a medical science existing long before allopathy, there have been trails and test after that results have been written in Indian Generals. There are properly written how to use, whom to use and when to use, along with side effects. Traditional medicine are danger to allopathy medicinal market, what you call as tablets are also combination of chemicals having side effects known and unknown.
I’ve tried chamomile which made me to groggy I’ve tried anxiety gummies the ones from olly and they only worked for a little bit. Ashwagandha is the only thing that has worked long term. Only complaint is that it works too good. I have to take a day or two off to get a little stress back lol. Otherwise I will not stress about anything!
When you take this and you have negative people with evil intentions around you this herb act as protection barrier.
You don’t feel a thing 😂😂😂
Exactly, I feel calm 😅
I've taken it. It alleviates stress, it decreases stress. But that also means that you're less productive and motivated to do things. So it's a give and take. Calling it an adaptogen is misleading.
Took it for 60 days than stop for 30 days. Rinse snd Repeat!!
I just took some 45 mins ago and I can’t believe the relaxation I feel. This is absolute heaven. 💯 legit.
I started taking it today. Fingers crossed 😅
Does it increase ur libido? Cause I don’t want that 😭
I used it 5 weeks without problem.Suddenly I felt very bad 8 hours after use. I felt all day bad and I vomited. I took 3 weeks break. Had no problem in this 3 weeks. Took Ashwagadha again and problems came again. Bad feelings in stomach and after 9 hours vomited again. Then i stoped to use it completely.

Ashwagandha herb has all the benefits, i have been trying the planet ayurveda's ashwagandha capsules.
I baught this 3 months ago and it really helps with my sleeping
Im going to give it a go before my exam and see if it calma those nerves too
There is clear science supporting its benefit.
I guess research has a long way to catch up with reality of Ashwagandha. We just have to wait.
Started my Ashwaganda regime two weeks ago. Feel like a new person and boy do I sleep well.
I wonder what could have become of me if you weren't the one who came to an interval in my life. Thank you for curing my Hsv1&2 naturally Doctor Orias. I immensely appreciate you .....

Thanks a lot BBC's
it grows in my garden. everytime I'm having anxiety i eat the root and like miracle the anxiety disappear.

We know this from ages and people from west are getting to know now. There are many ways of using this. This is used for not only as above said but many others health issues. How and with what combination and what time and what dose..are all that matters to take benefit of this herbs. Please do watch some videos from Indian ayurveda doctors they know lot more than the west researchers.
So you delete links to peer reviewed studies. Interesting.
This is why the media is going to hell. There are literally thousands of peer reviewed studies on the chemical components of this herb, showing its versatility.
There are some fake ones, but most have passed the highest level of peer review.
I can't, in all conscience, continue to have anything to do with this channel.

Bought some this morning! It should be a sin to go without taking it! Male or female!
You take before meal or after meal?😊
@@Midwest.. Normally, I take them with a meal. It's suggests on my bottle 2 a day with a meal, preferably.
Beware guys it may come with side effects. You’ll gradually start to feel lazy, tired even, it will be to a point where you find it difficult to get out of bed.
Take 2 months, then 1 month off and 600 mg a?day 😊
I have 2 questions what chemicals are in ashwagandha? and what class of drugs are the chemicals?
Ashwaganda"अश्वगंधा".Ashwa= Stallion, Gandha= Powerful Smell. You can put like " The powerful smell of Stallion AkA Horse Power.
It's only for testosterone building adaptogen. The only issue is you can't consume every day. And woman can't consume too much because it messes her estrogen. Everything means to balance.
Best indian natural herb to reduce stress
It doesn't even work for non-Tanzanians like that. You need bantu genomes for it to truly flourish.
Just tasted mushroom gummies apparently the ingredients had this and guarana
Despite getting cancer, I’ll stick to Cannabis
Adaptogenic term is clearly defined in the book Adaptogens
What’s the dosage and when to take it?
Ash has been a blessing for me since i first started 3 months ago.
Does it damage your liver?
It was used in India for thousands of years….
Merhabalar…🌺Türkiye’de Orginal ASHWAGANDHA nereden sipariş verebilirim 🙏🏻
Any benefits for neuropathy?
Does it have adverse affect on liver and kidneys?
I started taking 300mg nightly in March 2022. It definitely changed thyroid (thyroxin) production, as evidenced through blood tests of T3, T4, and TSH, just fyi. In those same blood tests (such as in summer 2022), to check for kidney and liver function, there was no ill effect. This is just one sample, on one person, but may be interesting to you.
@@roxbittman You mean your thyroid production became abnormal after taking Ashwagandha?
@@NightRider0101 Not exactly. I have Hashimotos, and without medication (levothyroxin), my thyroid's natural levels are very low (hypothyroid). After adding 300mg Ashwagandha per night, my thryoid starting producing its own thyroxin, or at least more of it than before. This put me in the hyPERthyroid condition. My Dr. reduced the level of medication by 50%, which now puts me in the normal range. The side effects of hyperthyroidism were mainly fluttering heart beat...very disturbing. Does that answer your question?
@@roxbittman Yes thanks a lot. I have been taking 500 mg since a couple of years. My thyroid and kidneys are normal but some issue with liver.
@@NightRider0101 Not exactly. My thyroid produced some natural Thyroxin once I started taking the Ashwagandha, which it hadn't been doing before. I was on meds to replace the missing hormone, but after Ashwagandha, I produced enough of my own that it allowed me to reduce the medications by half. The initial change to hyperthyroidism was pretty disturbing.
Sorry this was confusing.
As an Indian i m amazed how British colonialism forgot to take this herb from India. Too busy in usurping trillions of pounds of wealth from my country i guess. 😇

Is aswhaganda hard on liver? I used to have a fatty liver.
I wonder if it would be a craze in the Philippines since many people here believed in alternative medicines and such.
Is ashwagandha cannabis are same , is ashwagandha drug ?
How is this different from weed??
weed is weed. no comparisons
I like to take it on some evenings when i have had some excess strain on my CNS, stress, anxiety, and at times i find myself a bit overly tense to the point when I think my sleep may suffer.
I prefer to meditate and work out through the day to do the work on my own, but i will take some good-quality Organic Ashwaghanda as a profalactic on those nights to relax my CNS/Muscles.
I dont seek to get overtly consumed by it's effects, but to not risk a sleepless or poor sleep night.
A small dose in tandem with good practices will work in harmony at times - while other times, i will attempt to do the work from within.

exactly. “adaptogen”. A legitimate term with a legitimate usage that has been co-opted, to a certain extent, by the marketeers and advertisers looking for a catchy buzzword, just like they have done with many other terms, such putting the phrase “gluten free” on bottled waters. 😂
