Excellent video. Told us all the features and even gave a basic install in about 3 mins. All product launches should be this concise. Magpul would have shown guys jumping out of helicopters for 3 mins and just flashed the product name at the end! They’re like perfume ads for guys.
This needs to be updated badly. The stock can be pulled in and out without use of the pull tab. It’s very flexible and weak once extended. Great idea but needs to be reinforced in these key areas and you will have a great product that works! Love all of your stuff I just built a bcm 14.5 with your aus 30mm mount with the PA nova 1x6, cqg grip, and torch light body. Please make these adjustments so I can finish my build!

Exactly. However this thing is almost half the weight. Curious how much they sacrifice in durability to achieve that though. The UBR is built like a tank.
Just happy to see more American companies doing more American stuff... Even if the product doesn't take off, it still might (hopefully) nudge a somewhat stagnant market towards innovation.

Planning to start a RECCE build here in the next hanful of weeks. I need this. It's a bit pricey though, but I've seen more expensive stocks with worse designs.
What are you talking about? An AR10 buffer tube is the same as an AR15 and the carbine AR10 buffer is shorter than the carbine AR15 buffer. The only buffer that is longer is the A2 style rifle setup which isn't adjustable anyway and uses a longer spring as well. I use an AR10 carbine spring and buffer in my AR45, which is milspec AR15 dimensions.
@@thehopping1 I have an SR25. I also have a PSA PA10 and a PA65, the 10 set up as a carbine and the 65 as a rifle. Great content however I have been hearing bad things about the Recc-e stock! such as it being weak, flexible, wobbly, when extended, and the receiver extension being cheap thin aluminum, and weak. also when pulling the stock, by just pulls out, with just a quick pull or tug, plus the rear screw stripping easily, just to name a few bad things I've heard. I'm just repeating what I have heard.
Meh no chin weld on the rear for upright shooting with high raiser, I'd be happier even with m4 stock. That gap is horrendous, congratz reinventing UBR I guess...
$160 plain, or $195 with QD sockets that SHOULD be standard. AND, it's so "light weight" that it's only nearly TWICE AS HEAVY as many stocks on the market that are also only 1/3, or LESS, of the price! 🤦♂️ 🤮🤮🤮 EDIT: Even the standard ass $5-$10 M4 stock is only 6.1 ounces! AND, has built in QD holes!!! 🤷♂️
12 ounces includes their buffer tube, which for a regular AR carbine tube weighs in at about 3.5oz, so the actual weight of the plastic bits would be about 8.5 which is light, but not anything earth shattering considering the OG M4 stock is still the king of light weight. TBH I'm skeptical, the only thing this would really solve for my use case would be beard hair plucking, and I'm dubious of the lockup on that LOP adjustment. Seems like most stocks that lock that way with the kind of seesaw lever (Magpul Zhukov comes to mind) there's an annoying pop and clunk as you shoulder it and draw it into your shoulder pocket. It wants to start to cam the seesaw locking lever out of its locking position because of the pressure, and so based on how tight or loose you choke up onto the rifle it'll pop and wiggle which bugs me far more than it really should.
@@YumekuiWRX Ouch! My cheek started stinging just reading this! I didn't even think about this damned thing doubling as a face yanker while I was typing it out.
Sorry but going to have to call you out on this, 12 ounce stock is NOT light. Most common stocks (Magpul/Daniel Defense) are 7-8 ounces. It’s not doing anything revolutionary enough to warrant that propriety. This product is so confusing
