I’ve been thinking for a long time to do a Lamb of God cover and this is for sure such a classic, I did not practise much for this one, this recording was pretty Spontaneously made and even though this song is pretty simple was it a bit tricky as soon I realised that it wasn’t recorded to a click, but I think it turned out great and I hope you guys will enjoy this classic track!
As always is this a one-take recording and mixed by Douglas Hammarstam, he have gone for a more natural sound the past few videos I’ve uploaded and the mix this time is pretty much free from samples, there is a sample on a kick blended with the Audix D6 kick mic which I use.

@@KholmDrums yeah, it seems most people skip the first bass drum hit in the intro groove, so it's a triple with heel-toe on the right foot instead of a 4 note burst. Sounds very similar but it's a bit easier to play.

@@KholmDrums whatever you play next is going to be amazing. I am a drummer myself, I'm left handed and a double pedal kick for left handers is only custom made and costs in the thousands min in USD. I've been trying to rearrange my pearl drum kit set: standard right handed setup, move the high-hat on the right side of the snare and rearrange any symbols not mounted to the base drum to the left of the snare. All this moved around is only due to being left handed and is the only instrument I cannot learn to play right handed. I play guitar and everything else right handed.
Any suggestions for a lefty? I've played almost a decade in this style, basically have you been asked suggestions for any left handed drummers?

I love classics custom splashes. I have a 10' and it sounds so good. But the microphones and the better quality makes your drums and cymbals sound amazing Adam, killer cover like always!
Thanks a ton man! I'm a sucker for the Byzance Brilliant splash cymbals, they are a bit thinner and warmer, which can fill up a mix so well, but the Classics custom are thicker and sharper, which really CUTS a lot in the mix haha!

@@AlexNourse52 Oh yeah! It's a Classics Custom Extreme Metal Splash 10"! It's a bit more hand hammared and a bit more trashy than the 8" one!
