Tasting Dim Sum at Ding Tai Fung, Selfridges, London, Xiao Long Bao, Steamed Pork Bun.

Ding Tai Fung is a well known Chinese fast food chain in the Chinese speaking world, which mainly serves dim sum and small potion dishes. I am not a big fan of BIG chain restaurants, unless it is an upscale restaurant like Nobu or Hakkasan. However, I had a memorable experience at Ding Tai Fund in Singapore, a few years back. My favourite in the Singapore outlet was the steamed pork bun. Today, after a shopping trip at Selfridges, I decide to have a quick snack at the Ding Tai Fung on the 5th floor. The experience was very disapointing. Every single dish was bland..... Next time, I want to have a Steamed Pork Bun in Ding Tai Fung, I will fly to Singapore. Next time I want to have Chinese food in London, I will pop into a proper restaurant.

I did a real quick wander through Selfridges this past Christmas, but the place was so packed, I couldn't even get near Ding Tai Fung..
Next time, through, though..I'm getting me some Dim Sum there..
Hopefully my experience will be a little better than yours..

Is it considered proper to pull at the threads in clothing you have not purchased? Does everyone do that? I know it was distressed, but shouldn't the original style of the distressing remain undisturbed?
