- The A45 AMG is one of the fastest Hot Hatches you can get and i did a buy! I bought a Mercedes A45 AMG!! I went for the 2016 facelift model in Juniper red. The thing that amazes me about this car is the sound from the performance exhaust. from a stock car it sounds so good! There will be so much more content coming out on the A45 AMG including the full review, first drive a POV drive and much more. for now you will have to just enjoy some accelerations and sounds from my new A45 AMG!

Love your genuine excitement for the A45 and yes spot on, you know you have the right car when you keep looking back at it. I've had mine now for over 2 years and it still thrills me, just recently had a Stage 2 on it, it's gone from unhinged to schizophrenic, the best hyper hatch on the road and all from 2.0 litre 4 cylinder engine, WOW........

Nice car. One of my neighbours owns the Swansea Merc dealer. One of my other neighbours (now owns a Cayman 918) bought one of these from him new. Had it for a year, spent ages back at the dealer with driveshafts & gearbox issues. Only did M way runs in it, 85 miles a day. Got rid in less than a year. Hope that was just a lemon & obviously that yours treats you well👍🏻👍🏻

Congrats! Lovely Spec. I have a similar spec in Cirrus White FL. One thing I would recommend doing is engaging reverse a few times when doing a cold start up (under 12 degrees air temperature) and listening for any crunches. It is a common fault and and is repaired under the 3 year warranty. I had my 67 plate done recently and it is now all fixed. Enjoy it! Amazing car

Wow, it looks stunning Stef! from your last video when you said it wasn't a BMW but German my first thought was either an S3 or A45 :D Both are awesome but I think you made the right choice, The sound you get from the A45 is top notch! It's something different in many ways as you see lots of you tubers with Audi's. With the type of informative videos you make it'll be interesting to see your take on the A45 :D keep up the great content

Stef, from an Abarth owner, the A45 looks (and sounds!) superb. The wing looks “right” compared to the Honda Civic Type R and Suburu WRX. The pops and bangs will be sure to put a smile on your face. Who needs a horn when they can hear you coming accompanied by Snap, Crackle, POP.

I have never owned a german car in forty years of driving and I always thought that Mercedes was for old people and taxi drivers but this one really winning me over. One thing they really got right is the interior, I mean that is the thing you see when you are driving. And the pops and bangs also helps. Do miss the Abarth but congrats on this one, will follow your new adventures.

Great spec, not a fan of red cars usually but this car really works in red as the interior also matches. Love your choice Stef, it's the only car that I feel could replace my 595 too.
Really be interested how you find it day-to-day in terms of costs and I'm really interested to see if you'll have as much fun....that could be an impossible task.
Note: so glad you didn't get a BMW or Audi because they are all so boring!

I subscribed when you said your going to black out the grill, very good. I would also properly gloss black the rims to match the other glossy black parts of the car. Unless the wheels actully are gloss & were just dirty in this vid lol.

Good luck with the new car, it looks and sounds amazing. Sadly for me an AMG is so far outside my budget that I probably won't be checking in that much. I was after all here mainly to see if I could justify buying an Abarth (I think I can) Anyway, all the best for the future.

It would be the GLA 45 AMG in the States, well that is close to what you have.
Later this year, deciding if it's a Mk7.5 R or this that I end up buying. So your videos and hampshirephoto's will help a lot in the decision process. Plus, it will really come down to what I need.. over what I want.

@@StefABtv my mind could change from now and when I make the final purchase. But the digital gauges might be the deciding factor for me. The internals of the outgoing A45 are just a lil too, dated when you compare to the brand new 2020 edition (wow!) So I'm thinking of just getting the Golf R mk7.5 with digital gauges this year, keep the car a year or 2 then until the 2020 A45 depreciates, then pick one of those up. F*ck they look mint! :)
