I want an M car either M3 what are the cost differenes in services and fuel. I got told by bmw its like £250 a service every 2 years? my A45 was £450 oil and filter then £900 when transmission fluid was due.
Good Vid on MPG Stef! I find my M140i 3ltr 6cyl turbo more efficient than my 2.0 turbo FK2. The smaller engines I find are highly tuned to produce that level of power compared to the bigger engines which feel they have higher reserves of power without having to push them to get up to speed quickly. 👍🏽

Something doesn't add up to your math. If the car did 27mpg, for the mileage, the car would have been on it's forth-fifth tank of fuel. Six tanks of fuel drop the math to maybe 21-22mpg, don't they? PS. Very nice vehicle!
It's a small highly tuned 2 litre engine. Itl never be economical. Imprezas and Evos are terrible. You're using more power more of the time. A bigger engine with more "legs" will use less in normal driving

The Alfa is a future classic but I love the nostalgic classic to these new turbo charged everything, these turbos suck out a whole lot of power including the core characters of a sports car. Sounds about right. I've owned a GLA45 for about a year now with a bit over 20,000 miles and my average consumption is about 23 MPG. I have a lead foot and constantly take advantage of the unrestricted portions of the autobahn and usually on Sport mode. It consumes more compared to other 2L engines, but no other four banger can deliver like the M133.

I bought it because I like it. I mentioned fuel as a comparison between the other cars that were with me on the trip. I don’t see the harm in that. If I didn’t drive this car properly then I would agree at what’s the point of having. 👍🏻

My old m135i averaged 39.9 mpg if you took it easy. Pretty amazing really. I barley get 30 mpg out of my mk 7.5 Golf GTI

It’s roughly 15.6 miles to the gallon for the a45. If we’re saying the average fuel price per litre of petrol is £1.275

I’ve gone Remus cat back. Removes the resonator too. Kept the stock cat in it. Sounds great!
God, my Navigator gets 11 mpg when overdrive is off. When it is on it gets around 18 mpg. Yours still have a very good milage!

only cool thing about the noise are the crackles. The rest sounds like a 4 cylinder with a cheap aftermarket muffler put on an old Golf.

On the A45 it’s got autofinese caramic ceramic coating on it (self application) then the rest is just wash and dry
