- Simon Cowell MBE, CEO and founder of one of Surrey’s busiest wildlife hospitals dedicated his life to British wildlife and worked tirelessly to ensure countless injured and orphaned animals were given a second chance in the wild through rescue, clinical treatment, and rehabilitation.
You can help continue the work he started and be hope for wild animals in need.
His loss will be greatly felt by his loved ones, 2-legged and 4-legged, alike.

Agreed - for as much as the Internet and social media are held in critical view these days, I would've never known the name Simon Cowell, the animals he saved, and the joy he had for his work had it not been for thes videos.

We never met him but he was still a friend because we had one thing in common.....our love for animals. ❤❤

As a US wildlife rescuer/rehabilitator, Simon was such an inspiration to me and I learned so much from him and this organization. He has left quite a legacy and I pray Wildlife Aid will continue on forever because the need will never cease to exist. RIP Simon

Simon was the person I really wanted to meet. Not a movie star, not a music star. Simon was my celebrity and inspiration! I will continue with my fight and rescue of wildlife here in Colorado, USA with his name on my heart.
Rest in peace, good sir! You definitely deserve it. Wildlife rescue is hard work, emotional, we see (human) cruelty beyond words, having to deal with political BS and the general public that don't understand ecology and simply hate, etc. It comes with sleepless nights, worry about animals in care, worry about funds (please donate!).
You were such a wonderful human being. This world desperately needs more Simon's. Let's all be more like Simon. ❤

I only found out about his passing just now. I mourn simply because his kindness towards all animals was, and still is, an amazing example of grace and mercy where it could never be returned. I also smile because even though he was publicized heavily, that media attention brought about the plight of British wildlife, and the need for its protection.
Long may Simon's legacy and crusade for wildlife live.
I may not be a religious person but I hope Simon is greeted by the animals he saved in the past in heaven. He was one of few people who let me know that not everything is doom and gloom in the world even if I only watched his shows. He was a good man, such a sad thing when a good soul leaves.

Even though we knew this was coming, it's still sad as hell. At minimum, the best any of us can hope for is to leave the world a better place than we found it. Simon Cowell did that, and then some! He will be missed. ☹

Simon inspired me to help all stricken animals in my area. 6 stray cats now in forever homes and a multitude of birds rescued, saved and released over the past few years.

I held off watching this bc it would be too sad and difficult but I knew I had to, to honor him and his incredible work and legacy. For years after discovering him I wished he would blow up with more views and support bc he deserved that and that in turn would help more animals. I hope his legacy will continue on even if its something small like a viewer putting up netting or donating or something big like becoming a volunteer or even a rescuer themselves. Thank you Simon, I'll miss you and your humor.

Simon was one of those people you wanted to live forever. Found WAF after catastrophic loss and ensuing blown up world. I had 5 years with all of you and so much more as I went back to the start. My God how we need humanity like Simon's now more than ever.😢😢😢
Simon was here to show and teach others to love and care for our wildlife . He has worked everyday for over 40 years . He was the guardian angel for all creatures great and small. I'll always be sad it was his time to go. Wonderful man.

Its so sad that good people die so soon. The world needed this man the same way it needed Steve Irwin.
Simon looked after animals though; and not to speak ill of the deceased but Steve was trying to make good entertainment while harassing the wildlife. Not exactly the same thing imo.
@@stormy_waters Irwin was a grifter, a charlatan and a buffoon, nothing more. Comparing him to Simon is an insult to the decades of work spent building Wildlife Aid into what it is now, as well as numberless rescues and caring for injured wildlife.

You say not to speak ill of the dead but you've just done it. Not only that you've made your nasty little statement on the tribute video to this man. You also ignore the goods work done by Irwin and his family done for conservation. The fact you couldn't stop yourself from doing this tells me volumes about who you are as a person. What a kind and gentle soul. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends as they grieve his passing. No doubt he will continue to be a powerful force for good in his next phase of existence.
Simon was my biggest hero growing up; finding out he was ill was heart-breaking. He died the day after I turned 30. I'll never manage a hundredth of what he managed to do for the wildlife of this island, but I'll try to carry his humour and dedication to nature in my heart as I enter this next decade of my life. I'll miss you, Simon, and condolences to everyone who loved you. The world is immeasurably better for having had you in it.
