This podcast just came across my screne today and it waa wonderful. I studied with Renzo a long time ago back in NYC before he even had his own academy. He was teaching out of FightHouse. I still have canceled personal checks made out to him from 1998! He is exactly like this all the time. He's a unique individual and a beautiful spirit. In Renzo We Trust!
Everytime I see a episode, I learn a lot of life. Even if you're not a fighter you can learn a lot from your guest. Discipline, strenght and a great heart applys to the rules of live good and it help you acomplish your goals. Also I learn english haha. Greetings from Guadalajara Mexico!
Renzo is A very very good human being!! I met him in the early 2000s and trained with him for a long time, he lives in Holmdel NJ , It’s a beautiful area in Monmouth County. I lived in Hazlet New Jersey which is right next to the town he lives in, his godson wrestled with my youngest son they were on the same team, he opened up a Beautiful academy in Holmdel , So instead of going to Manhattan and training with him. A lot of us guys start a training in Jersey, with some amazing instructors that he has for that academy. He could take you apart within seconds but he is genuinely such a good human being. My son trained there for years also, he started at nine years old and trained there for till we moved to Florida when he was 16. The referee Big Dan Miragliotta Taught Thai boxing for Renzo in that school also. Who by the way is it excellent martial artist, big Dan also teaches BJJ and submission Wrestling, Catch Wrestling. And is a very big strong talented man. Who I’ve known over 20 years, had a Lotta good times that handles academies. I’ve had the pleasure of training with a lot of professional fighters. But Renzo and Bas Rutten, were two of the nicest professional fighters I’ve had the pleasure of training with. Great video Mike, stay on your grind my brother.
@@RealQuickwMikeSwickPodcast fuck yea! Keep it up Mike. Ur interview with Ali was great. People give him a ton of shit but hands down he is the best manager in MMA his fighters get paid well across all major fight promotions, always getting title shots haha
Just Found this Podcast. Swick does a great job of interviewing and does a good job of bringing on interesting guests, has a different feel. Good Stuff. Surprised Swick is not commentating on fights, but this show will get bigger
But You Can Never Know Enough TECHNIQUES. Wrestling is a Damn Good Base. 1999 I was 2nd in STATE Finals. From Wrestling to BJJ & Judo is Easier. You can be a Great Wrestler, BJJ, Judo Master but Once You are Punched in the Face, Broken Nose , Cuts, ETC . I would rather have a Fighter with Great Cardio caus it wins Fights. Luv Talking Combat. Martial Arts is an An EVOLVING Art
Fight wasn't a big thing in Brazil because we used the beat everyone everywhere. Fighters used to be called pittboys back in the 90's because we used to spread violence everywhere we went to. That was the problem. JJ became a regular fight sport and now people can really like the fighters and not just be frightened by them.
@@shajirislamuddin-caycho6659 that’s true...but survival rate is around 96.6% You don’t shut down a Counties economy with those numbers. People lose businesses and can’t feed their families...they turn to drugs, alcohol and despair. They kill themselves and literally can’t feed their families. There has to be a better way. There should be a message from Governments to get healthy and to boost your immune systems. For people like my mother who is 70 with a heart condition and a smoker or other people who have immune system problems that is no fault of there own....they should have to be careful and quarantine when the numbers go up. My mother is ok financially but the Government needs to step up and help those people who can’t participate in life because they are at risk. Let everyone else’s life go on. We have free will. As a person who has seen what covid does. Enjoy your health is all I'll say. Because what yall represent here is just nonsense.
The thing they are also missing is that the fighters who got sick, were in prime condition, which may not be the case for most of the population

Renzo Gracie is one of the sport's biggest liars. Mind to brag, fight on the street and scared of Wallid Ismail
You call Renzo a liar but who's telling lies here is you.
I found the fool.
