Yes that's what dream's are made of! Me I gave up on them dreams of winning a Eastman hunt. When I turned 16 and I read a Eastman magazine I subscribe to the magazine and put in to win a hunt then it got to the point of just getting a cheesey door prise I gave up! I noticed that every one that was win at the time I was entering had a lot of money. I started at 16 year's of age and finally at 30 year's old I stopped buying Eastman magazine and putting in for hunt's! To all you in this video great Bull's each and every one of them! Congratulations

If you guys plan on hunting the rut on public land don't expect to hear bugles or see elk. The unlimited over the counter archery tags have put more hunters in the mountains then elk. I have switched from hunting the 3 rd week of September to the first 3 days of the season. Once muzzle loader season starts I stop getting elk on my trail cameras.
I've always wanted to hunt CO for elk. This gets me hopeful I can go before I'm no longer able to walk those mountains
Don't expect it to be anything like this video. 95% of the time, it just another human bugling at you and hunters everywhere.

Any tips for a first time hunter. I drew a elk tag this year in Arizona
Call the AZ game and fish and talk to them. They are really good at putting you in the ball park. Also know it will be very warm during the days. If you get one get the meat off and out ASAP or it will spoil. Good luck
Get yourself in shape! It can make all the difference in the world. Stadium stairs with a day pack or stair master with the same is a great workout. Be sure to shoot your rifle or bow until it becomes second nature. Best of luck!
