I love how beautifully animated the singer is here. And the song is great. This is my favourite part of the movie, when I was younger I would watch the whole movie just to watch this scene beacause of her.
I love Gotham. Stealing plutonium and threatening to blow up the city gets you a couple years in the slammer tops, with early parole for good behavior.
With an even bigger budget than what they already had for a single episode in the series, they could afford it. Say what you will about the TNBA/STAS artstyle, it animated better with greater consistency than even BTAS.
I walked into 7-Eleven the other night, listening to this song. Some girl heard it through my headphones. She recognized it from this movie, and then gave me her number and winked...
I remember getting this on DVD like 7 years ago when I was 8 or so. I lived this song XD how time flies :) Man, I'm 23 now, and this movie and song still goes hard.
I know! :D Their animation is more fluid than the rest of the movie. I'm guessing the singer was modeled after the real life Cherie, and since they gave her the voice of the real singer, they wanted to give her special appreciation.
I wonder how cartoon characters would hit on each other..... Bruce: Oh baby. You have the most fluid animations than any other woman I’ve seen; with smooth 60 frames per second using rotoscoping techniques. Your colors are hand painted, while every other woman is colored digitally with cheap cell shading. And you’re rendered in high definition at a true 4K resolution with 16x anti-aliasing, while those other girls are upscaled with the free trial version of Sony Vegas Basic. Let us go to my mansion, so we may mesh our outlines in bed together.
Wish I can animate like that (or be actually good enough that I don't need to use rotoscoping techniques) to bad I can barely do flipnote and just use Krita so I guess 4K Res is out of the question, sigh...
@@Nintendude. There's nothing wrong with using rotoscoping, you're learning from observation, which is key when it comes to animating and drawing Give it time

I LOVE that song. What I don't get is that Bruce went to the Iceberg Lounge in the "Joker's Millions" episode saying to Penguin that he wanted to catch in the atmosphere. Did the Penguin steal the plutonium and threaten to blow up the city but was still able to keep his Iceberg Lounge in business? Penguin said that happened during his "rambunctious" days, and I thought he meant during "Batman: The Animated Series".
I find myself repeating this video over and over again and I don't know why. Maybe it's the singer, or the song itself. But god this song is stuck in my head! haha.
