- Guys watch this video to see the performance of Bajaj Chetak Electric Vehicle on the toughest Mountain Pass or Ghat of Sahyadri mountains the famous Lonavala - Khandala Ghat, we took 2 Bajaj Chetak for this Green ride and were really amazed to see its performance as one of the chetak is 2 year old and the other is 1.5 year old. We covered almost 150 km both way as we started our journey from Pune and reached to Khopoli, our second Chetak went to Mumbai from Khopoli and we came back to Pune, while coming it was the difcult part, climbing the ghat section but Bajaj Chetak proved to be stronger than the mountain and it climbed the uphill section without any issues. watch the video till end to know the details as where we charged and how the chetak performed through the ride.
There’s no way Bajaj will ever heat up. There are times when I have ridden for almost 2 continuous hours without leaving the throttle, and still the vehicle functions effortlessly… it’s built to be a cruiser and it’s effectively doing its job.. there are also times when u have put it for charging the moment am home, and yes, the cooling fan will be on and that’s the safety feature!!.. excellent video!!!.. hamara Bajaj always!!!..

4 hrs charging time???😳😳😳 still you think EV is a best option? Do you still think that people should buy them? Forget about reliability, what about time?
EV scooters are made for city use so 4 hours charging time is acceptable, but when we go for long rides then there is a issue about this charging time. Yes we still suggest people to buy EV to support the bigger cause.

I cancelled ola after paying 20k for it and I bought Bajaj chetak immediately. Trust me Bajaj has nailed it, what an EV scooter made by Bajaj. It's giving 120km range in eco mode.

@@subhendu6129 if you go with full speed, it will give around 80km range. I have done this with 3 members on the scooter, not doubles, I have ridden triples.
Bike is very powerful even with the 3 members sitting on it

Yes no more free charing point, range is 95-100 still after 1.5 years of use, going to make a vdo on the new motor details of Chetak kindly watch it.

What was the top speed attained by Chetak on Ghat section. As It was not mentioned there in the video. Kindly note it down as a suggestion.
Thanks for your suggestion will surely keep it in mind for next vdo. top speed attained by Chetak while uphill was upto 50-55 as due to bends we could not ride faster...
If it attained 50 kms with twin sitting while driving uphill than it is very good
I bought the scooter in April and after second charge, I am getting only 65 Km range, how to fix it ?
Oh thats really not normal in Chetak you are the first who has experienced this, please visit the service center and tell them this they will fix it.
Please drive the vehicle at speed of 40-50 with gradual acceleration so the scooter doesn't go in sports mode. After Reaching at 50 release the accelerator to bring down the speed to 30 so that scooter will charge through regenerative braking. Do this and your scooter will give range above 90. Do not accelerate fast, gradual acceleration is required for good range.

ola me bahot issues aa rahe hai.... sirf hill road hi nahi par baki bhi complains hai ola me.
Bhai ola me bhi minor models me issue aaye he 99% chadh jata he har hills pe without heating issue many videos are there on UA-cam of ola with no issues.

In today's scenario you can't consider it as a primary vehicle because of Lack of Charging station across the country and poor service and parts availability
