EDIT: I've been getting comments regarding Link's final smash disappearing in front of Link. Due to the portrait of Link blocking the CPU Link during this, we can't tell exactly what's happening, but I can say with almost utmost certainty that Link's shield does NOT block the Ancient Arrow. I can't test it thoroughly rn, but I had also performed this Witch Time test before, and the light streak DID go through Link as well. So all I can say is that what you saw in this video was a visual quirk, and at the very least, I can still confidently say the Ancient Arrow wasn't reflected, since if it was, it still would have hit the CPU Link. Have a good Thanksgiving, and if you don't celebrate, have a good week! Good luck to those taking their finals, too!
You too! Oh by the way, command grabs like captain falcon's up b or incineroar's side b act differently when one of the characters are under the effects of a timer. This allows incineroar to true combo side b into a lot of moves smash if the opponent is timered.
Don't know if this glitch still works but I'll edit this comment after I check. But if you go to spiral mountain chose any character with a cutscene final smash and Banjo-Kazzoie as the second then give a final smash to the cutscene character. Go into camera controls go frame by frame and activate the final smash and let the cutscene play and when it's over the camera should be in the sky. @@bonk150 I don't think there are any true shield break combos with Power Geyser but I thought dair -> Power Geyser or something would shield break. Might be wrong on that.
there's another move that's screwed up by the speed in training mode: Bowser's FAir when you drop through a Battlefield side platform. It seems like at lower speed or frame by frame you can drop through the platform and immediately FAir and fast fall, and it'll hit the opponent with the 2nd active frame of the move. But not in normal speed.
If you use sonic with a spirit that makes you very slow (slow super armor with +weight), you can see that sonics run is an animation. Basically, he actually runs like every other character, but has an animation for his fast feet. Yes
alolan exeggutor on a rolling crate is the scariest shit i ever seen in this game, forget arsene back air if you thought that walled you out boy have i got something to show you
Two things about villager. One: Bowling ball does more damage from higher up. Two: You can only have two bowling balls on screen at a time so villager eventually is dropping basically nothing
Snake has that animation when he's close to his grenades because he can stand 0.5 units away while grenades hit the rest of the cast 1 whole unit. Really Cool imo
For anyone unfamiliar, the "team power" stat is entirely irrelevant to your characters power. What matters are the two stats you see right next to them. As you might be able to guess, the boxing glove influences your damage dealt and the shield influences your damage taken, and these two are only dependent on your primary spirit, adding or removing support spirits do not influence them at all.
Ok so the team power is only to have a grasp of the level of team you should have and to influence the rewards after a battle in the world of light or the spirit board?
Fact: The Heros each have a personal "crit" sound effect when they are ko'd, which is different than their smash attack crit sound. You can hear it best on Hanenbow with Electroplankton playing.
Btw ik that you put me in to make a point but thanks! I love your videos! it's making me feel good about criticism and clarification. And I'm trying to be optimistic so thanks for the clarification!
Bayo’s witch time changes a Bowser Jr’s mechakoopa so that the Bayo will own the mechakoopa. That’s why Bayo uses witch time so much against Bowser Jrs at tourneys and stuff. It’s partly a reflector
I found out how to get R.O.B's Gyro back. You need Isabelle, but maybe Villager works. Get the Gyro stuck, and then use Pocket above the level where the Gyro would fall and respawn. Pocket will glitch the Gyro toward it, but won't pick it up and it'll fall down again. So, glitching it above the respawn level will get rid of it, giving it back to R.O.B.
The people saying that secondary spirits increase damage/defense were probably looking at the spirit team's Team Power, which increases when using secondary spirits, but is a very informal way of calculating "power" in order to compare to other spirits.
Mr game and watch also reverts back to his 3D model while still in the animation of back throw, however when you go into camera mode he goes back into 2D.

Bringing up a Tortimer Island fact, whenever I played Ridley and the dock was on the left side and there was little sand between the ocean and land, using Ridley's Side-B on the edge of the dock towards land would send me into the ground, causing me to go into the water and being able to swim under the map
I discovered the fast home-run bat swing when using it in front of Pac-Man's hydrant. The hydrant always counts as a projectile, so you can just instantly launch it any time with the home-run bat.
Before they removed Ganondorf's Volcano Kick's gravitational pull affecting items, you could use it on top of a rolling crate and create an epic combo if it all connects. You can still do it in 4, but Ultimate lost that cool trick.
I have a fact and also some clarifications about Spirits. Clarification 1, the Team Power on the spirit screen has no effect on your stats. It is your attack stat + defense stat and the multiplied by a hidden value associated with skills/traits/abilities and styles. It's only useful when comparing spirit builds against other spirit builds, but not much. So the 7041 vs 7745 means nothing for stats. Clarification 2, the reason why Terry only did a slight bit more damage with his attacks is because Special-Move Power up increases special-attack damage by only 5%. The directional special abilities increase the damage by 10%, so that would be more noticeable. Though I haven't checked if super specials are boosted by a specific direction ability, or if it is only Special-Move Power up. For the fact, at 10:50 you mentioned that the training mode CPUs are seen as a team. If you make a spirit build with Team Power Up (giving by Hero's Comrades from Hero's spirit board) and give it to the CPUs they will always have it active, even if you only spawn 1. It seems that they are in fact on a team during training mode. (source: I've put too many hours into Spirits) EDIT: Terry's Super Specials are affected by Neutral Special up
I don't know if this counts as a pointless fact or not, but I've got a hunch that Lucario might actually be broken. Under the character specific tips section, it clearly states that Lucario's side special (Force Palm) is able one-hit KO an opponent IF you connect the command grab version and is at a very high level of aura, but I've never been able to replicate this tip in-game and it actually seems that the damage and knockback barely increases on the grab version of this move. It even triggers the freeze frame on powerful attacks, yet still dosen't KO until reasonable high percents..
All duck hunt duo smash attacks also get affected in slowmotion. The crosshairs that come out of the smash attacks recieve a second hit each making them extremely powerful, i tested it out and one fully charged smash attack deals 50% of damage! This works with the clock item, training stage slower speeds and custom smash set to slow speed.
The secondary spirits increase the “Power” which is only telling you how good it is so you can compare it to enemy spirits, it doesn’t actually have any effect on the basic stats, it’s just a way so you know that using secondary spirits is better than not using them, that is if you can use secondary spirits with the current primary
The problem with the “power boost” from secondary spirits is that while it boosts the spirits overall power, if you check the stats break down it doesn’t change anything. So, that means that the overall spirit power doesn’t mean it’s physical stat boosting power, it also means the extra special boosts by secondary spirits are taking into account. This could also mean that secondary spirits would have their own spirit power, individually.
14:46 This is a really mundane method to fix the problem but if the opponent is Rosalina they can use Gravitational Pull/Down B to retrieve the gyro from the area it gets stuck in. Afterwards it behaves as normal and R.O.B. can summon a new one once it disappears.
If bayo counters a hothead (the fire item that goes around a platform) it doesn't hurt the person who threw it. Also the power increasing didn't affect damage because the attack and defence didn't change nor was a series boost (what ever that does), power increasing when adding a support spirit is for cases like world of light where having 1k more or less than what you fight changes damage greatly (with some exceptions) also I tested most level 99 primarys and I have a rough idea of how much more percent you do based on the attack stat (I still need to go back and test dlc spirits, event spirits, and a handful of spirits I didn't have at the time) I even tested a little bit on what fist/physical attack up does. If you want to put any of that in a video, I got the spirit stuff typed out on google docs
i actually remember a doubles clip from smash 4, where a bayo and a mario 2v1 team comboed someone by witch timing them, then having mario up-throw -> cape to kill them at like, 30%

if you place down links bomb in front of a bomb block in a custom stage, the first time the block respawns, it will immediately explode. But when it respawns, it'll ignore the bomb, until the bomb explodes either from time or link.
**Chomp on a moving Crate** Bluuugh. Now THAT'S scary. Think if you saw a Chomp flying at you in the middle of the night while riding a rolling Crate... Of course, it *would* be slowed down by the snow...
Dang, the secret of the home run bat has finally been revealed to the general public. Looks like the days of shocking people with ending the animation early are over.
6:24 The team power score doesn't affect your damage output or input. The multiplier for damage from primary spirits come from the attack and defense scores, which stays the same as long as you use the same primary spirit. As long as those don't change, you won't take or deal additional damage (before accounting for other spirit effects). Also, most support spirits boost damage by either *1.05 or *1.1. The Special Move up spirit that you used has the 1.05 multiplier.
I love your videos omg... They're like PJiggles' "useless facts" but far more frequent and plentiful Ohhh umm... What was the fact I had? Uhhhh OH Did you know Lucas (and probably Ness?) can absorb THWACK? Thwack isn't exactly what I would think of as a projectile... but apparently it is... Lucas, when I did it, also weirdly moved very much towards the center of the thwack... instantly.
So something important about spirit power levels that people forget is that the big number is a generalized "here's about where you place in terms of how powerful you are" and *not* "here's how much your stats change." The orange and blue bars with numbers off to the right are the actual stat modifiers for damage and defense respectively. AFAIK support spirits will not change those, and the only way to technically modify them is with conditional support spirits such as Fist Attack Up and Critical Defense.
The spirit power is irrelevant to how much damage you actually do. The way the spirit power is calculated is (s(ix+iy)) •((a)(b)(c)), with x and y being the attack and defense. Power is just the games estimate on how “powerful” a spirit is. A spirit with an attack of 6,000 will have the same strength as another spirit with 6,000 regardless of the power number TL;DR: Spirit power doesn’t change your stats, it’s only a decorative number
If Terry's special moves get buffed, does Ken's input kicks (I forgot their names, but the one done with quarter circle down and the roundhouse kick) also get buffed? Also, do properties of neutral special for one character apply to Kirby when patched? For example, I know Incineroar's neutral special got some adjustments in the 6.0.0 patch. Do the same adjustments apply to Kirby's copy ability?
If you play Duck Hunt’s Final smash in training mode at 1/2 speed, the audio drops in pitch during the final smash, but not before and after. Also in training mode if you play frame by frame, using the Squid Sisters assist trophy will disable frame by frame until their song’s done. They also still play their song at full speed even during 1/2 speed.

If you want to put any of that in a video, I got the spirit stuff typed out on google docs
i actually remember a doubles clip from smash 4, where a bayo and a mario 2v1 team comboed someone by witch timing them, then having mario up-throw -> cape to kill them at like, 30%
The home run bat thing got me a kill once . It was great
This channel is severely underrated.
I actually knew about the Grey Fox / Snake unique lines totally by accident. I unfortunately forgot to save the match as a video, and from then on I was convinced that I imagined it lmao
Step aside, wonderwing, PK just told us about Witch Time. Nice vid
I like how Gray Fox was just "Just like old times Snake..." and then immediately jumps off the edge
if you place down links bomb in front of a bomb block in a custom stage, the first time the block respawns, it will immediately explode. But when it respawns, it'll ignore the bomb, until the bomb explodes either from time or link.
Using Steve at 2:55 aged well
So if the back special of Terry is affected by the spirits, maybe this attack power increase too with the Side-special spirit power up
**Chomp on a moving Crate**
Bluuugh. Now THAT'S scary. Think if you saw a Chomp flying at you in the middle of the night while riding a rolling Crate... Of course, it *would* be slowed down by the snow...
Here is a fact: captain toad appears at the top of new donk city hall every once in a while but always appears if you make captain toad music play
Dang, the secret of the home run bat has finally been revealed to the general public. Looks like the days of shocking people with ending the animation early are over.
This is my favorite thing to watch aside from Alpharad.
Also another fact about R.O.B. is how he sort of dabs when he drowns.
"Can ROB loose Gyro forever"
Well, Jonhy sure did
No
@@heavensdork2943 yes he did.
Pikachu has a few frames of invincibility after thunder hits itself
6:24 The team power score doesn't affect your damage output or input. The multiplier for damage from primary spirits come from the attack and defense scores, which stays the same as long as you use the same primary spirit. As long as those don't change, you won't take or deal additional damage (before accounting for other spirit effects).
Also, most support spirits boost damage by either *1.05 or *1.1. The Special Move up spirit that you used has the 1.05 multiplier.
The bat is one of the most interesting ones I’ve learned in a good long while
I'm not 100% sure but I think Mr. G&W may also become full 3D in DDD's final smash, though it's really hard to notice and it's not for very long
Incineroar
I love your videos omg... They're like PJiggles' "useless facts" but far more frequent and plentiful
Ohhh umm... What was the fact I had?
Uhhhh
OH
Did you know Lucas (and probably Ness?) can absorb THWACK? Thwack isn't exactly what I would think of as a projectile... but apparently it is... Lucas, when I did it, also weirdly moved very much towards the center of the thwack... instantly.
So something important about spirit power levels that people forget is that the big number is a generalized "here's about where you place in terms of how powerful you are" and *not* "here's how much your stats change."
The orange and blue bars with numbers off to the right are the actual stat modifiers for damage and defense respectively.
A spirit with an attack of 6,000 will have the same strength as another spirit with 6,000 regardless of the power number
TL;DR: Spirit power doesn’t change your stats, it’s only a decorative number
PKBeats: ‘I’m bad at Terry’s inputs’
Just wiggle the control stick downwards and to the sides. Works for me.
Hey I got a fun fact. Changing size with Wario scales his head size when using his up-smash differently so he gets like a huge head. Well, huger anyway.
The Mr Saturn Item has a meteor effect for some reason. Though it only works if the opponent is grounded
No?
