- The Tor-M1 had it's firepower buffed to a point where the SPAA is now incredibly dangerous to every aircraft it may come against, while still being a fairly simple vehicle to outplay if you know what you are doing!

the missile (depending on missile type obviously) is constantly updating pathing to target and intercept location. if it calculates that target will be behind cover or will put something else in its path it will seek a new pathing. easiest way to get a new pathing for a missile is to go high and come down to a new intercept location. this is why you sometimes see missiles take the high route. in game tho is is highly overpowering by negating most if not all the defenses that a player may have.
But isn’t the missile manually guided by the launch vehicle, aka it requires line of sight to the launch vehicle? If so, won’t it just lose lock anyway if the target goes behind cover out of line of sight of the launcher?
@@thomaszhang3101 there are two guidance methods. one by guiding it in manually (with mouse and cross hair) and the other is a "locked" method. while it loses a lot of information it will continue its intercept course path. the missile doesn't just fizzle out.
but if it knows through triangulation and telemetry readings it wont make intercept point on a straight path, it will need a new path. in this case up....
the missile and the launcher are communicating to create a set of mathematical calculations. the missile knows its trajectory, speed, and position relative to the launcher, and vice versa. between these two they can calculate distance and trajectory of the third point (the target). if current path is blocked (ie. a hill, building, trees etc) in automatic mode it will make corrections to make new intercept point where it can reach even if hidden from the launcher.
manual is better in some situations, automatic is better in others.
But does the missile know where it is?
funny thing is. Mike even said that Russia would "Get the Tor in the coming updates" at the fire&ice update where the Tor got introduced

Automatic tracking has actually improved greatly and is very useful now.
I would assume it’s the TY-90s that made the player mad, it’s hilarious that the guy is in a KA-50 getting mad at someone in a Z-10, when the KA-50 is by far a more toxic helicopter to deal with

@@meandthebois7565 I never said it wasn’t annoying, I’m just saying dealing with the current KA-50/52 is much more annoying overall than dealing with a Z-19/10, at least with the Z-19/10 you can spawn in a heli without a lot of worry of getting shot down, while on the other hand spawning in an AH while fighting the Russians you will surely get shot down by a KA around 85% of the time. I’d much rather deal with a Z-19 or a Z-10 than deal with a KA-50/52 is all I’m saying.
OTO with 20° angle radar making it impossible to see things over 2k altitude in most maps🙃

They have nerfed the poor Otomatic to hell and back, they should just buff the Mistrals and have the Sidam with those back at top tier instead of the Otomatic, or you know, give Italiy the SAMP/T, but I feel like people would hate it even more than the Tor or Pantsir to a degree
It's only a truck with alow deploying launchers but those missiles are basically impossible to avoid and have a 100km range
As gaijn said, TOR M2 would be better than the Pantsir because the missile doesn't lose agility and can fly with an overload of 30G on any part of its path (16km range). and he also has 16 missiles and 1000m/s speed.
and I will ask at least in the test driving to compare the radar of gepard and pantsir. how often the enemy location is updated on radar. Was nerferd, and now it's just shitty

i think the reason for the tk is people hate the ty90, ive played the z19e a few times and have been tked on mutiple occasions and when i asked why they said i was a scumbag for using the ty90's to which i said (yea youre not wrong) fair enough i guess. teammates with always be the great equalizer

I think it lofts like that to avoid hitting the ground ik it sounds dumb but thats my only thought on it because it only seems to do that when your target it heading towards the ground at lowish alt. Even though this is supposed to be the direct fire mode it seems to still have some sort of autopilot (i myself have only had this happen once)
I don't mind goofy cosmetics and decals, I love putting the gnome from the christmas event behind commander MGs and such. It also gives me a good chuckle from time to time to see a funny face or scene on something that killed me. And sometimes it can add a bit more character to see some realistic clutter on an otherwise bare tank
also the added pillows are a nice addition

Hey Justin, I'm curious what your thoughts are on the Stormer. IMO, it's a really sneaky SPAA because there's only an initial plume, it doesn't trigger RWS, and the missile itself can be hard to spot if you're not expecting it.
The Stormer is the anti-heli chad such a satisfying spaa to do well in. It's even handy against jets with some practice.
It makes Ka players so mad, I love it.
sham it has to be impact so it just barely hits fast movers like mig 27 or anything supersonic

The real question is why can air and ground team kill each other but ground can't team kill other ground vehicles.
Gotta love how most of the CAS players just ignores the RWR if theres no lock warning, they don't even check if the ping is from their teammates or from enemy so that they can take appropriate action. Instead, they wait for the missile launch before making evasive manuever and by the time its too late since they are so high up in the sky.

and the Tor m1 missile will automally fly to higher if your radar lose lock on enemy,that is just same as Z-10 s AKD10 ATGMs,when you use Z10 lose locking on enemy,AKD10 will also lose control and automally fly to high air.This is very annoying and i never suffered same problem on Apache or Ka50.Maybe this is bug China has
Sometimes when a heli has a lock on an enemy and you happen to be passing by, the lock might switch to another target which is in this case was you. Maybe that's why ka50 shot you?
Pantsir player here, interesting to see how much less you have to lead your aim, its pretty much impossible to hit anything at 8km with the pantsir if you're fully zoomed in because you can't see, and the auto mode is only good for drones. Alot of maps i refuse to play because theres no cover or bad terrain so i just sit in the menu or spectate, have had a few games getting 7+ kills and its really annoying with multiple pantsirs on your team because youre basically competing with eachother

In fact, Gaijin does have a mechanism to secretly regulate your teammates. If you have performed well recently, they will arrange garbage teammates for you

They should switch the pgz09 and pgz04 places, give the missiles to the pgz09. The pgz09 is literally meant to be an upgrade over pgz04, the pgz04 has a worse radar as it cannot detect drones while pgz09 can, rounds are too small of a calibre making them unreliable to kill mbts. The only advantage the pgz04 has over the 09 is more ammo I believe and -5 degrees of depression

That has been my exact experience lately playing China, nothing but defeats. With Russia we get stomped, without them we get stomped. IDK what's gong on. Even the amount of CAS is so low, I tried farming CAS with the Z-19E but they would spawn 1 to 2 planes/helis a match, you'd think with how much everyone complains about "muh CAS OP" they would be everywhere
Funny how Russia has the highest amount and types of spaa in the world.
People should be happy the gaijin didn't add the TOR M2 to Russia considering TOR is USSR made spaa and the M2 has the missile for tackling aggressive maneuvering Targets or the long range ones

Personally I feel like the MGS remakes are going to be cash grabs that lure you with nostalgia, since Kojima isn't involved anymore. I don't know how bad it will be but I honestly don't feel too hyped, not yet at least.
The remasters will be fine I think, but idk if they are going the metroid prime route and remake the graphics too, MGS Delta will be interesting to see how it turns out to be.

The environment for CAS in ground RB has fundamentally changed eversince Pantsir got introduced. It's not worth of spawning CAS anymore. Cuz you got detected and locked right after spawn without noticed.
The only option for non Russian CAS player is to do low fly attack with conventional weapons. Cuz almost all the smart weapons requires attitude.

@@JustinPlaysTV i dont doubt it, I only have US to 11.0 so my view points pretty biased (and salty), but literally every game is won by whatever team gets russia and all of US airpower is outshined by Ka-50 and 2S6 and 2S38 abusers. It’s infuriating considering how trash russian tech is in real life. As someone who was deployed in Afghanistan in 2016-2017, and then syria in 2018, and has seen first hand how crap captured russian tech is its so blatantly obvious that the game is biased towards ruzzians.

Tor still with 2 problens only now, trail of smoke, not only cause the cas will see, but will be in your aim, and make harder to aim in the cas, other point, the missel is not that fast...
I understand the Hate against the Body Pillows, WT is supposed to be the "Realistic" roughed military sim, and its seems like its getting like World of Tanks with the silliness, its kind of why I dont like WoT. I will say I did get the pillows cause I find them pretty funny, but as someone who is a Loser myself I will say the pillows are pretty weird/creepy.

it still has many problems.such as huge and long white smoke,has no night gunnder vision,cant guide like straight fly missile,and auto guide logic is wrong,which make its missile fly randomly and never get a jet.I know many people point at the 42G missile and say Tor is too OP,but in my opinion and experience,i think Adats and Roland or maybe i still dont have 90M is better than Tor.The huge smoke is too Annoying thing.

It annoys some people because it completely takes away from the core realism and seriousness of the game. A lot of people enjoy the environment of the game where a realistic war between vehicles takes place. Body pillows of cartoon characters slapped on top of a menacing looking tank kills the vibe. Other than that it’s cool lol.

Gaijin should actually monetize cosmetics more, which means yes, more body pillows and anime stuff. It doesn’t affect game play at all or the economy and it makes money. Many other games monetize cosmetics.
But consider the situation where someone PAYS for a cosmetic, and gets annoyed that people aren’t forced to see it by setting cosmetics to historical only. Because people are that entitled
