I can hear the religious... telling us they 'know' there is a heaven, because they had a dream of heaven and Jesus was there to greet them. 100% proof of a heaven.

In Heaven you cannot be self aware or have any memories. If you did, you would constantly worry or wonder about the fate of loved ones still on Earth. Sounds like Hell to me.
My thoughts also.
I don't recall seeing the self aware part. I have read verses about old memories being wiped away because all things will be made new. I also recall that Adam and Eve became aware if their nakedness and many other things. They were always self aware but they weren't self aware of the concept of anything that could be considered foul or evil or improper. Adam was self aware that he had no "helper" until God put him to sleep and made Eve for him.

Religion 'worked' OK when man believed we to be the center of the universe and everything revolved around us. The 'revolution' started over 400 years ago when Galileo first removed the earth from being the center of the universe, and instead, placed the SUN as the center of our solar system, with the earth and ALL of the known planets revolving around it.....and, at the time...that the sun is actually OUR nearest star. ONLY under the threat of torture did he recant, but many of his most ''anti-church'' teachings were published ONLY after his death, and of course, the church went apoplectic! ....and, 400 years later, still hasn't really calmed down yet! ....although actual church membership, along with attendance has been in a long downward spiral.....for MANY reasons. BHE

I believe in the Atheist version of eternal oblivion and no Heaven, Hell or any Gods or Goddesses. If there is no eternal oblivion, second best theory is reincarnation.

The notion that heaven could be overcrowded seems silly. Even the known universe could accommodate all humans that have ever lived a billion times over and as a supernatural realm it could probably 'expand' as needed.
Now, heaven as a supposedly perfect place of eternal bliss is quite the problem. Everything we do and are is rooted in a sense of past, present and the future and everything good that we experience is measured against the bad. Sometimes something bad can be regarded as good after the fact.
Scholars tried to come up with different concepts but they are all more or less flawed or utterly alien to comprehend. I believe that heaven as a perfect place for perfect souls would entail a loss of identity. In order to retain our personality and our sense of who we are, there would have to be some possibility for soul development.
But who knows, perhaps more nde and after death research will one day allow to create some kind of model for life after death.
Wholeheartedly agree. Progression is essential to not stagnate, and to retain one's own identity. Soul development is something I definitely agree with.

Heaven exists. Hell exists too. And guess what? They are both on Earth. You make your own heaven/hell. Reincarnation, people. If our reincarnation is based on what we do in our current life, just as in cause and effect in a massively complex way, wouldn't this possible?

The only reason this is still a question is because of religion. It’s made us infinitely dumber since its inception.
For the lack of a better word heaven exists. We’re all created there and that’s our real home. We’re born here for experience. Experiences is what make our souls grow, elevate. We live multiple lives on various planets if we choose to grow.
There is free will. We choose our lives before we come for the experience of being who we are. The struggles we have are put there for us to overcome and move beyond.
There is no hell. When we die we relive our life and experience our decisions through the eyes of others we’ve effected. All hurt we caused, all pleasure we caused we experience through others. Hell is when we experience the pain we caused through all we hurt. Hitler for example will have to experience all he did through everyone he hurt. All 6 million he had murdered, their family, friends, etc. Sounds like a hell to me.
There is more than ample room for all of us. Heaven isn’t a physical place, it’s all energy. Because of that no physical space is needed. Every individual can make an entire world to our own if chosen. We can join others in their world if we wish.
After we have our life review we take time to heal, to reacclimate into this environment and prepare for our next life. We decides what we need to learn, try again. We see who in our soul family wishes to help, the roles we all take. We come back and do whatever all again.

according to god and religion mankind was offered eternal life with no pain or suffering but lacked self-awareness of things we are aware of, the fruit of knowledge versus the tree of life. eve bit from the forbidden fruit of knowledge and Adam followed suit, this then created the fall of mankind into the ruthless nature of existence we live each day. this shows us that god is not all good, all-knowing, etc, but a being so powerful and advanced he is able to inflict his own will and judgement on his own creation.
The biblical answer: we were born into a perfect garden, but we fucked it up and only god can fix it...

The Universe is multi dimensional and we are multi dimensional beings. We are not from Earth...we have a cosmic origin. Yes...reincarnation is absolutely true. In order to know this with certainty one has to complete the Self Realization process and one can experience it for one's Self. Then there is no doubt.

the problem with your theory on life being heaven already is that the evil and nature which is the objective reality of existence contradict life, the universe spends its existence ripping itself appart and blowing itself up in a state of instability and unpredictability, meaning this cannot be heaven already to teach us the value of life when they are people with the ability to torture and rip that heaven away at will, free will contradicts or rather the ability to choose which action to take contradicts this plane of existence as a lesson, God is a made up concept used to crowd control people, because people had a hard time accepting we existed, they didn't understand why people left existence, god and heaven was created as a poor security blanket to help people feel comfortable about life and death and have them believe life has meaning and purpose but its doesn't life is life and nature of the universe and so called life is the objective reality.
