I appreciate you not shaming the previous cook over the mess you found. Instead of doing that you showed excitement and glee over your cleaning experience.
    That was refreshing to me.
Thank you for demonstrating how to properly clean an entire kitchen before Passover. Now I know how to create a clean kitchen environment for all of my Jewish friends when I want to invite them to help me cook in my kitchen. I won’t offend them nor embarrass myself by not properly cleaning the kosher way.❤
Passover blessings to you and your family.

This might be a bit out of the blue, but I wanted to share something with you. I was raised without religion-in fact, I was brought up to despise it. However, I consider myself spiritual. Watching your videos from time to time brings me so much comfort. You’re such an interesting person, and I love watching your content.
You present your religion in such a beautiful way that it almost makes me want to explore it myself. I’m particularly drawn to the tradition of going to the jewish bath/spa once a month-I think that’s such a beautiful tradition. Your content feels like a blend of ASMR and a loving mother’s voice, which is very healing for me.
I’m also neurodivergent, and yesterday, I realized that I used you as a body double. My executive functioning can be very low at times, but your cleaning video helped me clean my house after months of paralysis. I even took a chocolate snack break at the same time you did!
I just wanted to let you know that your content hits so many sweet spots for me, and I’m so grateful for you.
Hugs from a 28-year-old woman living in Copenhagen.

I’m in my 70’s now, but when I deep-cleaned when my children were younger, it was so satisfying. There’s something cathartic and relaxing about deep-cleaning. I sometimes overwhelmed myself but learned to take one thing at a time. When I realized that God was watching everything, everywhere, and everyone, it helped to be more intentional and forgiving. Much love from SoCal!

What surprised me the most was learning you can kasher your own kitchen! I thought someone had to be hired to do so, as is the local minhag here. You did such an excellent job! I am not surprised you did it yourself, as you are truly a humble individual who takes great care in providing a Jewish life for your family.
I love your videos! They really speak to anyone, regardless of their level of observance or socio economic status. I’ll be honest, many UA-camrs are not relatable due to their 2000 sq ft marble, granite, perfect kitchens with 3 ovens and 3 dishwashers. Even though you are a doctor-you feel so real and humble. Your videos always make me feel better and allow me to become more observant. I never walk away feeling like I am “not enough.” I have a tremendous amount of respect for you!

I liked that you explained the absorbtion of non-kosher into surfaces. Although certainly aware of how bacteria invades these surfaces, it was so interesting to think about it from a kosher kitchen perspective. Excellent cleaning! I am Swedish and we have a real obsession with cleanliness. Thank you for sharing so openly and with such a positivity.

I love a clean kitchen. I appreciate your attitude so much. Instead of grumbling or complaining about having to do so much work, you look upon it as satisfying and almost a treasure hunt, discovering dirt that needs to be gone. Even with gloves, I’m guessing that your hands will need lots of lotion afterwards.

Glad to see the process. Being able to prioritise cleanliness is a privilege and a necessity, it's interesting to come along.

Over the years, I have heard some of this, but it was fascinating to see all the steps. What surprised me most? Getting a new to us, second hand stove tomorrow, gave up and bought one ourselves since the landlord seems uninterested, after spending today trying to clean the hood and space where the old stove came out. We rent and the space has never been properly cleaned before because of health/disability so it was quite the task, I'm still not completely happy but am at least confident it will not contaminate my food so that's something! I can not be as excited to clean the new one, but maybe I'll turn this back on to lift my spirits about it. Reminding myself that once its all cleaned up I can pull my canner down and get back to seeing that my people get real food again instead of the ready to eat stuff all three households I was regularly feeding have been dependent on since my kitchen went down 6 months ago! So cleaning the new stove is actually a very happy thing!

Many years ago, my husband of the time and I lived in Memphis, TN and we’re studying for our Orthodox conversion. What an amazing several years experience. 💜
Unfortunately, my then husband backed out one week prior to Mikvah as he didn’t agree with laws of Nidah. 🥴🤢Two decades later, I still feel blessed to have lived amongst such a lovely community, that of Orthodox Judaism. 💜

Well done on that job - looks like a new kitchen. I need to give mine a bit of a "do" and this is the encouragement I needed - dont suppose you fancy a quick trip to 🇬🇧 to give me a hand?? 😅. Thanks for all you do, it really is interesting to have a sneak peek into your life. Look after yourself ❤

I love a clean kitchen! Sara, thank you for being such an inspiration. I am not Jewish (despite having a Yiddish name; I confuse a lot of people!), but I have loved learning about Judaism through your channel the past two years. You encourage me to live a better, more meaningful life. I am going to be inspired by this video and use it to keep focused on a deep spring cleaning of my kitchen. 💕

My oh my, that was a lot of work for you! 💪
    But you nailed it. 👍
As I am not jewish I don’t need to clean the way you did and I‘m not ashamed to say that I‘m glad, because I am not a good housekeeper and never was.
I love watching your videos because I love listening to your voice and I learn so much about your very rich religion and culture.
Thank you for all the insights you give to us! 😃

The gunk in the fridge is an accumulation of stuff that has leaked or seeped from their containers. Like juices, milk, jams, jellies, etc... Cherry juice is a stickler for this for some reason the seals on the jars aren't the greatest. I hope this helps you and I hope you have a great Passover.🎉✌️

I am not Jewish but I appreciate learning about a kosher kitchen and gaining new insights in cleaning. Watching you clean the kitchen reminds me of my mom. I enjoyed cleaning with her growing up because we bonded as we cleaned together. I will have to take a page out of your book and be cheerful when cleaning ("The fridge is a gift that keeps on giving!" 😀)

I LOVE A CLEAN KITCHEN. ❤ Absolutely loved this, like I said being in wheelchair it is harder to clean as I struggle with pain. But my husband and kids do try, but its not how I used to do it so I do get anxiety over it. But do my best to teach my kiddos all I know. The part that shocked me was leaving the hobs on for half an hour to cleanse. But I suppose it does make sense. Certainly learning alot xxx

I am a student of Judaism with the intention to convert in the future bzH, and I want my kitchen to be kosher. your channel has been so helpful to me especially because I want the Sephardic customs as well, thank you for pointing out the differences between Sephardi and Ashkenazi customs, I love learning about the differences!

    I love a clean Kitchen!
I have moved 30+ times in my life (not Jewish, so never had to Kosher our kitchen though) and quite frequently we'd find things behind the stove / fridge in our next rental. It was always like a treasure hunt.
We replaced our countertops when we bought our current home in 2017 (well, we did the kitchen work in 2020) and we found a random knife in our left-hand sink drain pipe when we removed the sink as part of that process! That was the most surprising thing I remember finding! We also did a major cleaning of our fridge a year or so ago due to a spill and I never thought about removing the shelf / drawer brackets. Now I'm wondering what's under there, lol.
