Hey Anthony. May i ask (for the sake of it) why there is a Harrogate bus in the depot and also why i can see a Team Pennine Optare Solo (on the left behind the Hotline) at 0:07
Honestly I'm not sure about the Harrogate bus, it arrived just before the bus 100 incident. The Solo from Team Pennine might be here for one of 3 things. Scrap, repair or repainting, but since it's been here a few weeks I'm going to go with scrap. We have Central stores (we're all parts live) so the team takes off parts that are fitted for going on other vehicles but I will try to find out for you.

It's better then versa's that use the Bell for a warning sound. so you get engine management light on and you stop thinking it's a customer wanting off :-)
09:30 is now a daft rule in my view. More people are working from home now, and they all pile onto the first 09:30 bus and it's full to the brim and a nightmare.
It really is a tricky balance because our route operates with 3 sets of schools so I wonder if we made say 8:00 would we have more issues with not having space for the children. I do think it needs to be looked
@@anthonyleecooke schools in my view are a different issue. I understand what you mean. As a passenger who has suffered cancelled services in my area because of schools, I feel that service work should always run and schools should be a nice to have if the company has capacity to cope. It’s a nice earner for companies and that’s the problem. If they are giving to take them on, separate buses should operate as a school only service in most cases. The behaviour of some kids these days is something the paying passengers should not have to deal with. Nor should a driver unless they choose to. I know it’s not an exact science but I think coach operators where possible should do schools. Don’t get me wrong, operators love schools, but I do think sharing a bus with 30 plus school kids is a bit much. I totally appreciate it’s not black and white though. Love your channel.
Not much fun without any A/C. Agree with you, you can't really go far wrong with a good Volvo - bus driver's byword for Quality and general reliability.
@@anthonyleecooke I've always loved the power of the Volvo. I saw a documentary about the company and their history and how the cold harsh winter weather in Sweden has helped to form them into the company they are today. Where other makes might struggle going up some of the very steep hills in England, Scotland and Wales the Volvo seems to be able to take it all in its stride. I, personally would have a Volvo every day of the week and twice on a Sunday.👍🤝😊
@ NeilBurns8869 Yeah, I know loads of truck drivers who love Volvo trucks they are just amazing bits of engineering. However something has been said about the Plaxton Centro at Burnley they have some major issues with them and they Volvo 😔
