The first half of this film was outstanding. Some of the actors were experienced and wonderful, but the real stand-outs were Harry Styles and David Dawson. This is the one of the best movies I have seen so far. The emotions, plot, character, and everything. Not just being a Harrie, but the acting was amazing! How there was a change in past and present, how the story moved, all of it was wonderful!
Finally. I've been wondering about Harry's tattoos since I saw this. I love this film by the way. David's eyes are so amazing and I've been in love with Rupert Everett since Another Country. Fun fact, a decade later I attended college and was close to the granddaughter of a member of the Oxford Circle which Another Country portrayed a fictional version of. But yeah, David Dawson has the most expressive eyes ever. I need to watch everything he's ever been in.
I’m part of the LGBTQ community and I don’t think Styles did anything to further marginalise or disrespect the community with his comments before the release of the movie. He stated an opinion and having watched plenty of films about gay men (because there are far more of them than films about lesbians), I understand what he was trying to communicate. Dear God some people have become so strident that it seems they’re not happy unless they can create a stink. Where’s the community support?
Harry styles never said he had experience, of a gay relationship. He just supports people to be themselves. Why would he talk about his love life. Its nobody's business . A gentleman never does, as it would probably involve people in the limelight he wants to protect. Never assume just because you don't know.
As a straight woman, married with 6 children, watching this movie. I enjoyed the movie but it was sad that love had to be stifled for the community opinion and societal norms. Overall I believe love is most important and transcends all else.
Honestly, I watched the movie because of Harry. I think he did a brilliant job being Tom, and made the movie so moving and wonderful. I think so many people on so many different levels can relate to this movie, even if you aren't homosexual. We have all done things that have hurt loved ones, whether intentional or not. We all have "secrets" that live, stay and even form who you are 40 years or more down the road. We all live with regrets of some kind. Some people have had relationships or feelings for another person, even briefly, that may stay forever secret or were never acted upon, or maybe lasted for years, but you lead that life under a veil of some kind for different reasons. I thought the movie was brave, lovely, sad, depressing, freeing, insightful and touched on every emotion in some way.
This is such a beautiful film! It is heartbreaking and gut wrenching, but so beautiful! I would love to get just a hint about Tom and Marion’s life between the eras we see. The book does not address that time period either. Was their marriage sexless or did they continue to try to be intimate? In my fantasy world, they have a couple of children who give them something to focus on during those interim years, so there had to be some intimacy early on, but that can definitely fall off once kids enter the picture! I just loved the dynamic of the whole film and how each of them is just trying their best to be happy.
This film was watchable, and the performances of all the actors, particularly the younger counterparts, were decent. It's interesting to see where the green screen effects come in.
This is such a beautiful and thought provoking movie. I have watched it so many times and always have questions. Tom is a sad character who denies his sexuality.. Patrick is someone looking for love. It is so hard to believe how members of LBGTQ community where treated. ❤

Harry es novio de Louis en secreto porque no lo pueden decir
I love Emma Corrin. She's not only a beautiful actress but she's amazing in acting as well👏👏👏
I believe that Tom role is meant for Harry Styles tbh. This is my fav movie so far or Harry. 🙈😘❤️

You have put a picture of some green screen footage. I spected some info about technical things.
