He’s the star of the film. He’s a great actor but no ones going to it to see David Dawson. Not everyone’s a global superstar and not everyone wants to be, so I don’t find using Harry to Market the film disrespectful to the other actors

Same!! his acting, charisma, his expressive eyes just take my breath away. As someone above suggested, you should check TLK - in my opinion, he carried that series.
I watched the movie because Harry is in it, but I honestly fell in love with the story itself. And, all of the other actors are just amazayn. And Rupert expressed so much even though he wasn't talking much. I just love this movie and this cast

There’s a clear difference in the way Harry Styles answered questions about this movie and how he answered questions at the Don’t Worry Darling press conference, and that tells you all you need to know.

Like a lot of people, I watched this movie because of Harry but ended up head over heels for David. The scene that cemented it for me was the one in the hotel room in Venice -- the look on Patrick's face as he looked at Tom looking out the window (I need a screenshot!). During their scenes together, I could feel Patrick's and Tom's love for each other, and it was beautiful.
Rupert Everett's performance was extraordinary! He conveyed so much emotion without saying a word, and my God that ending!
All in all, a brilliant cast for a brilliant movie!
Simple emotions can turn someone into sobbing mess. This movie does that. All actors played their parts so brilliantly!
I couldn't hold back tears at the end. You know it's good when it brings on the waterworks.

I watched the film because of Harry and was incredibly moved by it. Now I really need to read the book!
It’s such a good book. I read it and although in the movie they didn’t include all the complete backstories of each character I do think that they did a good job in choosing what is most important to have in the movie and what’s not.

I like the story of "Tom Burgess the policeman" cos it showed Patrick's bravery, and the book also explains why Patrick never went back to Tom

This movie was the best! I of course wanted to see it because of Harry but fell in love with the whole cast. It still blows my mind that there was a time in certain places it was illegal to be in love. It just makes my heart hurt for all those people who couldn't be themselves.

I read the book because I heard Harry was going to be in the movie, but I totally stayed for the story itself! The move was wonderful and the actors all did great in their parts!
They were all amazing, but can we talk about how good of an actor Harry Styles is? He is such a natural and can definitly hold his own next to all these experienced and amazing actors and actresses! ❤
Not seen the film but Harry Styles asked to play the role in My Policeman. I believe he was really good in it, only because it was close to home and already had the experience when he was in 1D.

I came to watch this movie because of David (fan of him since The Last Kingdom) but fell in love with Harry too. I just knew Harry as a member of a band but never actually listened to his songs. After this movie, I am following him - his songs (I am late, I know), his Insta, his Style (pun intended). Big fan in just a week!
This movie tells my life story, except that my story doesn't have the happy ending which "My
Policeman" has. My heart exploded at the ending. It was absolutely the most beautiful and extraordinary film of 2022.

I haven't watch this movie yet. But I'm convinced it's about strong emotions and the performances of all the actors are excellent. I am very very proud of all of them. Love is the strongest and most beautiful emotion a person can experience. Everyone deserves it without distinction. I very much wish that people would finally start being tolerant, empathetic, kind and respectful towards each other 🙏🏻.
When you decide to see this film, you will not be disappointed. It has a lot of layers. One of the comments says this, "This movie made you feel for all three characters...without picking sides." It is true.

Just a beautiful movie and surprisingly relatable. My partner isn't gay but is the survivor of other kinds of trauma and discrimination. He lied at the beginning of our relationship and I found myself in the shoes of Emma's character, with the pain of having been betrayed and finding out the relationship has been a lie, and the deep compassion for someone in a persecuted group, who cannot just live and be free the way I can. I cannot bear homophobia and the way it has terrorized the world. Those who came before us have been incredibly brave and I am grateful to them for living authentically. The choice to do so freed many others and inspires me to always be true, even in the face of threat.
I originally watched this movie because harry was in it, but I fell in love with the other actors too because they're so good and the movie was also fantastic
I was not disappointed with this film. The performances were all so good and the story line had many layers to it.
I read the book and then watched the movie, both of them left me in tears. It was so blatant to me, that the predicament of the three protagonists was going to be taken into their respective graves. The fact that they were all aware of that burden at the end of both the book and the movie was just absolutely heartbreaking. Amazingly worded by Bethan Roberts, directed by Micheal Grandage and portrayed by all the actors. ❤️
In spite of myself, I found myself tearing up at the end.

Es hat auch viel mit Erziehung zu tun, und auch mit der Geschichte aus vielen Epochen und der Kirche. Die Kirche hat vieles kaputt gemacht. Deshalb heute noch Menschen Angst 😨. Über dieses Thema kann lange und viel noch geredet werden. Ob sich das noch mal ändert??????
I love this movie. Each scene is thought provoking. I am a fan of Gina McKee & Rupert Graves, as usual they did not disappoint. Lovely acting from all of the actors. Will watch again and again ❤

I love the film and I hated the fact that they couldn't be together, how much they suffered. 😥because life is so short. Love is all that matters and these two should have been together. I mean what is life? If we say no to love what's the point? I cried like a baby when this movie was over 😀
This is one of the best film I've ever seen in my life. Beautiful script, amazing cast, very well directed. All is perfect. Chapeau! Hope this touching lovestory will help many people to understand how unnatural and brutal repression is and how natural and necessary love is in this world, all kind of love. I dream of the day when the expression "coming out" will become obsolete, superfluous, because homosexuality will be universally accepted as one of the declinations of human sexuality. Some people are straight, some aren't. It has always been like this, and always will be.
I thought Linus Roache's performance in particular was very touching 🙂👏

As an artist, I feel so lucky to see Harry grow up in his carrier. I'm not even a fan, but as someone who respect and appreciate other artist work, I have to say that blows my mind how seriously he takes his roles and characters. In music he is so contagious, but acting too. He makes you put yourself in those people's life. Thank you Harry for teaching me many ways to improve as an artist. You are truly. master and I'm here to learn from you ❤
