Is the bowens mount a tight fit when clicking in light modifiers? I’ve had an issue with some COB lights recently where the manufacturer neglects that small detail and doesn’t make the tolerances tight enough. Result, slight movement/rattle/wobble when modifier is properly attached.
The question is how portable it is for outside Which battery and holder do you need, and what is the total weight Indoor photography is fun, but going out in front of a set is even more fun
Hey Anthony. How many lux at certain distances like 5m and 10m are you getting with the 300c? I can see a pair of these in my future but the only concern i have is the lux output for far distances. Also how does the richness of the colour in the 300c compare to... say... a Nova 300c? Or a 600c Lightstorm? Or the MC Pro?
How about the saturation levels? How rapidly do they drop? Does it just fall apart below 80% and become basically white with a tint of colour or does it really hold itself together even below something like 40? I find fine tuning vibrant to pastel is a really vital tool I'd like available and the Nova 300c does that with flying colours haha pun
I’m looking for a colored background light for photography. I currently have a few MCs but I want more light output. I’m curious if you think the 150c would be better then the P60c.
Hi great video. Quick question.I know godox has a similar light, but the short fall was when using the color modes /rgb I was told you only get about half the amount of power. With these lights do you get the full Amount of power im guessing 150w when using the color modes or do you also get a major reduction in power. Thx.
Lumens will always be lower at HSI. The brightness needs to be lower so colors won’t be washed out. That’s why if you need more color output, more leds are needed instead of just more power output.
Where u able to keep those light or measure it? I own the 300c and a Godox Spotlight. Sadly the COB on the 300c stands out just slightly to much to mount it to the 300c. I now have to choose in getting another spotlight or also buying the 150c. Buying the 150c would give me more options to work with. So finally my question. Is the COB on the 150c the same distance from the bowens mount then the 300c or shorter?
Hi Anrhony, I am searching for a light for photo- and videography. I need the light for product-, real estate photography and videography, I like to make short films too. I don‘t want to spend over 500$ on the light and with all accessories about 800$. What can you recommend?
Finally saw a youtuber using Aputure amaran LED to take photos, and using Canon R5.🥹 May I ask if you can test the faster electronic shutter to take pictures with the new Aputure amaran 300C and 200Xs, will there be flickering problems? 🙏🙏🙏 For example Aputure amaran 300C 30% or 60% output, while Canon EOS R5 uses 1/800s, 1/1000s or 1/2000s electronic shutter Because I have more than 20 different brands of LED lights, but only all Aputure amaran leds have the problem of flickering stripes when taking pictures with electronic shutters (such as 1/800s, 1/1000s, or 1/2000s electronic shutter, LED lights are low at 100% output), There is also a flickering problem when shooting video! Aputure amaran F22C will have flickering problem even at full power, Aputure amaran 200D will have flickering problem below 100%, there are more models... And before only shooting with other brands never happened I have also tested other brand models in detail, and I did not find the flickering stripes similar to Aputure: Nanlite pavotube 30x 4800k 30% & 65% output ZHIYUN MOLUS X100 5500k 30% & 65% output Canon EOS R5 electronic shutter 1/250s to 1/8000s all shutters, including 1/250s and 1/8000s Due to work, sometimes high-speed continuous shooting is required, but Canon R5 can only shoot 20 frames per second with the electronic shutter, and the mechanical shutter does not have the problem of flickering stripes, but the continuous shooting is only 12 frames per second If Aputure amaran 300C is used to take pictures without flickering problem, it is indeed very attractive and the price is very affordable😍
Let me know if you have any questions and I'll respond with a short!
Are old cameras still good like the canon 70D

I’ve done a lot of photography in the past as a model but seeing how these shots came out have my mind BLOWN rn 🤯🔥🔥
Ordered one this morning. I can’t wait for it to arrive! Great video and the photos were 🔥
Learned a lot about lights setup in this video. Thanks
I love to see Amaran blowing up, but I’m hoping Aputure can start to focus on new Light Storm lights.
Great video brotherrr, love the use of colour
These are a game changer.
Thanks for this video!! Pls help me to choose, two 150c or one 150c and one 300c. What do do you think? 150c is powerfull enough?
I just ordered a Amaran 60x S but definitely have my eyes on the 150c as well :) I just have to make sure I don't break the bank hahahah :)
Thank you for sharing
Good job team!!!!

Great Video!
Its possible to run amaran 150c light with a v mount solution?
The question is how portable it is for outside

If I am going to buy two of these, is there any reason to have a 150c and a 300c or should just get two 300c assuming cost is not an issue?
At what % did you have the 300c setup at? Trying to figure out if I should get the 150 or the 300 😅

which stand do you recomend for the amaran 150c?

The decrease of lumens is pretty big btw, you can check “Gaffer and gear” review of these lights, he shows the lumens of each mode at 100%.
Useful ❤❤❤

Do I get the 200x and a 16 pack of color gel filters or the new 150c for video mainly?
“fur-TAH-gur-fee” 😂
Thank you!
what is your thoughts on the Nikon d3100
Great video! 300c is on my list for sure! How do you set up white balance in camera when working with hue lights? Is it always 5600K?
yep
Which stand did you use to hold up the negative fill?
Does it have built in effects ??
I will sell my Amaran 200d for this new 300, what do you say? ✈️

@@Iamtongue This is correct
