@@disclaimer.imjokinabsolutely not. You want a 45 year old woman and an older Ashoka to act like a child? She doesn't outshine anyone, she played the character perfectly at the age she is, they all played their part appropriately
They tend to work pretty hard into the deaging after getting trashed about it once. It happened with Luke in Mando, and people called out that it was kinda bad in Obi Wan
As a Star Wars noob, this was damn cool to see. Also, major shout-out to Ariana Greenblatt! Young Gamora in Infinity War, Gloria's daughter in Barbie and young Ahsoka here is massive for her career.
I always thought the CGI clone troopers looked good in the prequals, but man do they just look so much better and more lifelike with real people in the armor. It's so good.
Something I can't help think is that Ariana Greenblatt must have gone through some serious lightsaber training for the Mandalore bit, because them's some serious moves and she does them perfectly. I wonder if there is a behind-the-scenes vid for it.
If Kanan were to appear in live action, I would want them to call in Freddie Prinz Jr to be onscreen. I have recently looked at pics of him, because one vid I watched mentioned the photo on the Ghost console, and quipped that is probably just Freddie, but yes, FPJ has the same face shape as Kanan, which makes me wonder if they based him on his VA. Same googling also said there is no intent to return to Kanan, so I only expect things like what happened in this episode - Kanan got mentioned to explain Jacen's abilities.
Some Star Wars actors were literally born to swing a lightsaber. Hayden, Ray. And we get to add this phenomenal kid to the mix. Hope we continue to see her in this role.
We are 21 years and 4 months since AOTC hit theaters. That makes it 19 years and 4 months since ROTS. That is 15 years and a month since Ahsoka was introduced in the CW film. This is a whole generation of Wars fans who grew up with these versions of these characters (those who are too young to have seen the OT in theaters.....pre special editions). For us, this was a years in the making and we wanted this for Hayden.
@@aadil1998 I grew up with the prequel trilogy too. I was 7 in 1999 when episode 1 came out and saw it in the theater. Seeing Hayden again was wonderful. Episodes 1-3 will always be my favorites.
This episode and series has actually really made me appreciate Ashoka and Anakin and what beautiful characters they are. To see a young teenage Ashoka fighting in war actually makes you realise she was 14 when she started fighting in the Clone Wars. Also I never realised before how obvious it was that Anakin was just destined to become Vader. Vader wasn’t born on the night he betrayed Mace Windu and pledged himself to the Sith. He was born and thrived on the bloody battlefields of the Clone wars. It makes you realise that Anakin was always going to become Vader, regardless of what anyone tried to do, he loved battle, violence and victory. Star Wars actually is a beautiful piece of Machiavellian art when it’s viewed from this level. Plagius and Sidious’s plan was so beautiful in its sinister simplicity and design. It’s evil as hell but it plays on the flaws of all sentient beings. Ashoka is a child soldier overcoming extreme PTSD and trauma from losing so much. It may be a space opera but it’s still really hard hitting. The acting from Hayden Christensen was just phenomenal, he’s studied Matt Lanter’s delivery of lines and has blended the styles beautifully. Ariana Greenblatt as young Ashoka legit made me cry when she was comforting the injured clone and questioning the loss of so many of her men. Rosario Dawson has been such a soldier following Filoni’s instructions to be so melancholy for the first 4 episodes. I’ve always loved her as an actress, she’s awesome, I was really pissed at Star Wars fans attacking her. I know she will now bring that cheeky, funny beautiful energy to adult Ashoka now she is free of her guilt. Dave Filoni you have single handedly restored my faith in the direction of Star Wars. My favourite part of the episode was Anakin flickering between himself and Vader it just blew my mind that I’d never seen that Vader was always there right in front of you always. You are the Heir to the Empire, please keep this beautiful storytelling coming. I haven’t felt this way since the credits rolled on ROTS in 2005. Not to say that the other shows haven’t been good. But that was the closest I’ve felt to George Lucas cinematic Star Wars I really wish I’d watched it in a cinema. Just unbelievable, I felt like a kid again watching the prequels, Star Wars is back baby, Let Dave Cook, that kitchen of dreams is smelling divine🙏👍❤️
@@ECA2 thank you, I haven’t felt so passionate about Star Wars in years. I grew up watching the OT as my siblings were Gen X. But I still remember the absolute joy of the prequels, they were our generation’s Star Wars going to see Phantom Menace when I was 10. Attack of the Clones in 2002 for my birthday. The OG Clone Wars mini series. I watched Revenge of the Sith 7 times in theatres. Then then Clone wars movie that introduced Ashoka, I took my own daughter to that to that. She loves Star Wars as much as me, Huuge prequels fan, loves Hayden Christensen, she’s now 14 has his picture on her wall. Also loved Darth Vader, kinda freaked me out because he scared the crap out of me when I was a kid. I honestly thought Star Wars was dead after the sequels. I was so disappointed, but slowly they have clawed their way back. I just hope they don’t waste all this momentum by taking this new story to the same terrible conclusion. There can be multiple stories, timelines, etc, etc. I don’t hate any of the sequel characters I just think the writing and storytelling was terrible. My daughter, the target audience hated it. She fell asleep in The Last Jedi, and was sort of ok with Rise of Skywalker. These shows have recaptured the magic, but Ashoka really feels like George Lucas Star Wars, this is why I tell every fan The Clone Wars and Rebels are must watch, those stories were so good. Can’t wait for the last three episodes, I just keep rewatching these scenes and reaction videos. And the memes my God the memes, you know you have real Star Wars when it’s just quotable line after quotable line 😂. I still say I “find your lack of faith disturbing to my daughter and my nephews” in a Vader or Palpatine voice 🤣. So good to have our Star Wars back.

This is one of the moments of the franchise. Recently you could say: Luke's appearance in Mandalorian and Clone Wars live action episode. I really want and need a show of live action Clone wars or a trilogy in theaters
Dave created Ahsoka as a future Jedi but it was George who said Anakin has a padawan and Dave said Anakin doesn't have a padawan but George gave him complete creativity of that character as long as she was Anakin's padawan. So despite Disney's mistreatment of SW, we still have a Jedi Master who could sell his worth to any future owner of the IP because he knows his master's original intent of SW. It was an awesome episode. And, although it was great to see live action from the Clone Wars. It was also sad. Seeing it in animation did not really hit home the understanding. But, seeing it in live action you realise that Ahsoka was just a child, she was what 14?. Essentially a child soldier. So although it was awesome to see, it was also very sad to see too. But it does not take away from Ariana Greenblatt who played young ahsoka, she nailed her role and very well done to her :)
I think we can tell that Dave REALLY spent his time on this series, like YEARS of planning for this because you can tell, there is just no way in hell that he could've just slapped those Clone Wars costumes and the Maulalorian helmets together within the time frame of a year maybe 2 years, Dave planned this, he probably knew that Kennedy's Star Wars wasn't going to cut crap with the Fans and that's why he did this.
Dude they have costume departments and archives. Plus they have thousands of fans who make their own armor and costumes, like the 501st members they got to perform as Stormtroopers in the 1st season finale of the Mandalorian. Hate on Kennedy all you want but that ain't the reason Filoni had this stuff. The show had a budget in the tens of millions and free access to the Volume, that eliminates the cost of a bunch of location shots.
@@kenle2 U forget, that people wanted to see Ahsoka in live action long BEFORE their was even a Mandalorian series, so my guess is that Filoni had been planning this since before the pandemic which cause us to go into lockdown, so my guess is that the costume designs for a Live Action Ahsoka were the ones in the archive since the pandemic started and then Filoni decided to dust off the designs and bring Ahsoka to Live Action.
@@StillSaber Okay. I didn't get you just meant DESIGNS. Sure. The creatives spend lots of time on those for shows that might or might not get produced in the end.
Everyone calls her a baby, even me, when she's only 5 years younger than Anakin. During Siege, she was 14 and Anakin was 19. Both babies if you think about it.
You gotta remember too, she was inexperienced in any sort of combat, loss, and trauma before being assigned as Anakin's padawan(not saying she wouldn't experience it being under another Jedi during this time). That's why a lot of people called her "Baby Ahsoka" as she hadn't lost the innocence that she would during the events of the Clone Wars.
Gideon is good Villain like Tarkin. 😊 And Thrawn is even better becouse he is not trully a villain. Thrawn and his friendship with Anakin during Clone Wars comic/book is best this in Star Wars.
All the fanart of Hayden Christenson in Clone Wars Anakin armor from over the years have all finally come true; now I want to see Ewen McGregor in Clone Wars Obi-Wan armor
I could be wrong but the first part of the flashback i think they are on Ryloth and one reason being Ahsoka saying that it's one of their first missions and the fact that she mentioned about making mistakes and in the Cartoon, one of their first battles was on Ryloth and Ahsoka got a lot of her men killed when they were trying to get through the blockade and onto the planet. The pieces are all there so it would make sense that Ryloth is the first flashback and obviously the second one is from The Seige of Mandalore cause Ahsoka literally says it lmao
When I was watching this episode, I initially thought that the Phase 1 helmet was a live-action version of the Clone Wars helmet style, but as I paid closer attention, it looked like it had more of a mix of Attack of the Clones and The Clone Wars styles
for those wondering its three battles thou these clips only show two of them as the second one wich is the longer of the three is the hospital field. second battle of geanosis, the liberation of ryloth, and the siege of mandalor
I need a clone wars movie or TV show. Ewan is still young enough, Hayden is still young enough, we have Rex, we have Ahsoka. This would be perfect! Although we don't have dooku, Obi wan and Ahsoka can fight General Grievous while Anakin can fighr Assaj Ventress. Maybe we can get a 12 episode limited series with 3 arcs
I have a theory on why she was on the Tales of the Jedi clothing instead of the season 1 tube top, which is what she would have been in during the battle of Geonosis. In the animated form, her age (being 14) in that outfit, was explained by the Togruta culture. As Togruta grow older, they wear more coverage. In the live action format, the actress (Ariana Greenblatt) is 16, so that’s one possible reason, or she just wasn’t comfortable wearing it, but that’s my idea.
Not Baby Ahsoka Lil Soka, Baby Ahsoka is in episode 1 of Tales of the Jedi, Young Ahsoka in the 1st memory is wearing the her attire from TOTJ episode 5, the 1st memory is Battle of Ryloth: Hera Syndulla's home planet - the Twi'leks in the background help determine the planet
What really seals the deal on the young actresses fantastic portrayal of Ahsoka is after she dispatches the Maul-dalorians and strikes the perfect Ahsoka pose with the 2 lightsabers. She nailed it!

Shoutout to Ariana. Casting was spot on
Thank you Dave Filoni
Everyone calls her a baby, even me, when she's only 5 years younger than Anakin. During Siege, she was 14 and Anakin was 19. Both babies if you think about it.
You gotta remember too, she was inexperienced in any sort of combat, loss, and trauma before being assigned as Anakin's padawan(not saying she wouldn't experience it being under another Jedi during this time). That's why a lot of people called her "Baby Ahsoka" as she hadn't lost the innocence that she would during the events of the Clone Wars.
At ROTS she was 17, Anakin was 22
just imagine if we saw Obi Wan in the background during the clone wars flashback!! She is doing such a great job esp with the lightsabers!
Ahsoka is probably the only Disney show I genuinely enjoy watching.
Andor fans (me): It's treason then
@@cooliostarstache5474
Yeah, Andor fanatics DO seem to have a Palpatine vibe towards "FUN Star Wars".
"I'm joking."
@@kenle2 "You're joking? How could you joke at a time like this?"
@@cooliostarstache5474
[Hat tip]😉
...as if millions of voices cried out in pure joy.
Everybody's like, "Oi! You can't do that! Wait, can he do that? That's-OMFG BABY SOKA! ALL IS FORGIVEN!!!"
though we saw Rex earlier this year in the Bad Batch season 2, why does it feel like it's been a while since we last saw him?
Gideon is good Villain like Tarkin. 😊
And Thrawn is even better becouse he is not trully a villain. Thrawn and his friendship with Anakin during Clone Wars comic/book is best this in Star Wars.
Best Scene Of The Show so far. What I wanted to see and Ariana And Hayden crushed it.
All the fanart of Hayden Christenson in Clone Wars Anakin armor from over the years have all finally come true; now I want to see Ewen McGregor in Clone Wars Obi-Wan armor
Seeing these reaction compilations brings me so much joy!
Thank you for the mention! What an amazing episode!
Teth. The second battle Ahsoka was with Anakin for
I need a clone wars movie or TV show.
A long time ago, everyone joked that soon people would do reactions to reactions.... well...
Yeah I appreciate him for making these mashups, but adding himself to the whole video is so unnecessary
Amazing, thanks for the reaction compilation. I dont have Disney plus so this makes my day
The young actress was also in "65" ...with Adam Driver.
Because of your videos, I have been introduced to some of the best UA-cam reactors. THANK YOU. This episode was everything!!!!
This whole episode was incredible.
I hope since they made Mauls super commandos live action we’ll see someone with a horned helmet in Mando
I love the fact u start the videos with the wave squadron/ blind wave clip … they don’t miss much and they are so hype
god I hope this was a real-time test from Disney to see the reaction of a possible live action clone wars series.. PLEASE!!!
i love watching grown ups cry over star wars… bc im one of them too
Not Baby Ahsoka Lil Soka, Baby Ahsoka is in episode 1 of Tales of the Jedi, Young Ahsoka in the 1st memory is wearing the her attire from TOTJ episode 5, the 1st memory is Battle of Ryloth: Hera Syndulla's home planet - the Twi'leks in the background help determine the planet
This sure was a surprise, but a welcome one.
What really seals the deal on the young actresses fantastic portrayal of Ahsoka is after she dispatches the Maul-dalorians and strikes the perfect Ahsoka pose with the 2 lightsabers. She nailed it!
Okay, now give us Hayden, Ariana, and Temuera in a live-action Clone Wars series or movie.
If this show doesn't win ALL the awards, I will be very upset and screaming that they were robbed.
Just as much fun as it is to watch these reactions, it is to watch your reactions to the reactors! You do some amazing work! Love your videos!
He needs to let the people talk so we can hear their full reaction and stop repeating himself the entire video. He doesn't know when to stop talking.
@@brambonis1936 I respectfully disagree.
Absolutely the best 50 minutes of Star Wars I’ve ever seen, 😊❤
We are 21 years and 4 months since AOTC hit theaters. That makes it 19 years and 4 months since ROTS. That is 15 years and a month since Ahsoka was introduced in the CW film. This is a whole generation of Wars fans who grew up with these versions of these characters (those who are too young to have seen the OT in theaters..... pre-special editions). For us, this was a year in the making and we wanted this for Hayden. Give us a Vader trilogy set between Obi-Wan and New Hope. But have flashbacks to the Clone Wars and important moments in Anakin's life we missed in live action. Have him doing Vader stuff but flashbacks show he is still conflicted. The young Ashoka actress is getting bank with the teenager Barbie meets in Well Barbie, young Gamora in Infinity War now Young Ashoka. Impressed with the look of Beaged Anikan considering I honestly thought he would've looked like he got stung by a bee As a Star Wars noob, this was damn cool to see. Also, a major shout-out to Ariana Greenblatt! Young Gamora in Infinity War, Gloria's daughter in Barbie, and young Ahsoka here are massive for her career. I'm so happy we got to see live-action Clone Wars it was the last thing I expected. Seeing Rex was amazing and I am honestly still in awe of how good this episode is.
Ahsoka is probably the only Disney show I genuinely enjoy watching. Seeing a young version of Ahsoka was mind-blowing in the Ahsoka series!!!! Reactors reaction to seeing young Ashoka during the flashbacks to the Clone Wars era on episode 5 of Ashoka. This episode 6 flashbacks also gave us a quick look at the Siege of Mandalor where we saw Captain Rex and the Mandalorian super commandos aka the Mauldalorians, all on episode 5 of the Ashoka Tano series for those wondering its three battles thou these clips only show two of them as the second one which is the longer of the three is the hospital field. second battle of geanosis, the liberation of Ryloth, and the siege of Mandalor Everyone calls her a baby, even me, when she's only 5 years younger than Anakin. During Siege, she was 14 and Anakin was 19. Both babies if you think about it. Ariana was flawless. Masterclass for being so young
I miss your videos, please post them more often!✌god I hope this was a real-time test from Disney to see the reaction of a possible live-action Clone Wars series. PLEASE!!! As someone with a pretty basic knowledge of Star Wars lore, watching your compilations of reactors makes me wish I could watch each episode live with them all each week so I can fully understand & appreciate it even more. That being said, I still love doing so after the fact with your videos, I just can’t go back & “first watch” the episodes again. Keep up the great work! Something I can't help but think is that Ariana Greenblatt must have gone through some serious lightsaber training for the Mandalore bit because them's some serious moves and she does them perfectly. I wonder if there is a behind-the-scenes vid for it. Thank you for the mention! What an amazing next episode 7 and 8 this week for later on to see episode 8 okay Just now!

You took my words 🙃
Love seeing young Ashoka in the clone wars!!
I'm waiting for a full episode 5 reaction but this will do fine for the time being
Ahsoka was apparently 17 at the end of the Clone Wars.
Disney, write the cheque, get Haydena d that actress and give them a clone wars series!
AWESOME compilation, sir! Great job as usual !
How incredible would it have been if we got to see a glimpse of Katee Sackhoff in the Siege Of Mandalore segment ?! That would have probably done me in....
Did anyone notice the soundtrack was the same during the first flashback as the Clone wars Burying The Dead Scene? In the finale?
From person that never watch star war rebels I knew who Rex when I heard his voice
They seriously need to give us a live 🎬 action Clone Wars movie with these same actors!! 😂😂
Thank you so much for this compilation!! So emotional!
I have loved watching this show, and all the reactions. Subscribed.
Imagine a Live Action Remake of the Clone Wars movie.
The only Live Action Remake I can approve from Disney.
That kid is the coolest on the block now!
Majeliv family also has great reactions - I hope to them on here one day🎉
I love clones so much
Anakin just wanted the high ground
11:51 - Louise Julie's reactions are always hilarious, like her reaction to live-action Krrsantan😄.
This episode was off the charts!!!!!
Need a Clone Wars live action with this Young actress ❤❤❤
They should make a live action clone wars with Arianna. I know that may ruin the canon but shit, she was awesome
Ariana Greenblatt is amazing we need more
"omg, it's baby Ahsoka"
No, it's Clone Wars Ahsoka, who was barely a Teenager. If you want Baby Ahsoka, watch Tales of the Jedi episode 1.

*Star Wars fans trying not to freak out after seeing clones* (that's impossible) 😂😂😂
Your chair makes it looks like you got cat ears lol
THE CHILD SOLDIER THING NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED
Gen 1 clones were between 10 and 13 from Geonosis to Mandalore. Ahsoka was 14-17. Anakin was ONLY 5 years older than Ahsoka
SEE JANE BE AS CLUELESS AS EVER!
The second I saw that Mauldalorian I thought it was Gar Saxon and I flipped my shit lol until I saw her stab him lmao
The nice new ✨🏆ONE PIECE🏆✨ is like greats from our Nobel past such as: AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN, THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, and FLASH GORDON and that is why we love it! ✨🤗💞 The entire 😎Luffy's Wanted Poster 😎is GLORY-JOY-HERO REAL-HUMAN-STUFFfff!💞🤗✨
You mixed the best reactions!
you shouldve included the reaction from mgfExtra. he has the best ep 5 reaction so far.
Finally getting Anakin force ghost where he's going back and forth between Anakin and Vader lol I remember them talking about dong that in last Jedi but they didn't the concept art looks so good lol. The idea so good lol. Plus they said he was doin fight training which people like why is he fighting he's a ghost lol. Now we know lol. This more special with his history with ahsoka the scene with Rey I read was cool basically avatar but cool the history of the chosen ones lol and all that but him appearing to ahsoka and fighting obi wan these are best appearances you can do with Anakin and Vader lol
