Why is holiday insurance so hard for us to get?

Emily was so wise beyond her years - but ALL happiness is temporary .Life is temporary ! Before this video , I watched one that Emily did called Structure and Stability . I am amazed there were no comments on this one , so I would like to comment here . I think that this was Emily's secret to keeping her sanity - watching her keep up her routines with meal prep and the workouts are completely inspiring . And to find out that Emily took no antidepressants ?? I would need major drugs .
Anti depressants don't really help address the cause of depression. They just mess with brain chemistry, and as everyone's brain and way of thinking is completely unique, it's very much pot-luck. I wouldn't advise anyone take them unless they're basically suicidal and it's more dangerous not to do something because it's pretty much a scatter gun approach and can lead to a vicious cycle of meds and dependency and ultimately more depression. Emily was a perfect example of how to deal with life's troubles and tragedies - head on and with as much positivity as you can muster.
Addie she was on morphine and "feel good" hormones that all advanced cancer patients seem to get.

I watch these and I can't believe she's gone.. She was so full of life here.. Loved when she showed us her training it always kicked my ass into gear too!

I never thought about cancer patients having to pay ridiculous prices for holiday insurance.
Its disgusting - you’re being penalised for being ill which is totally out of your control.
As you said, many people who get a terminal diagnosis wish to jet off somewhere and make the most of what time they have left. But this will prevent people being able to do that, or worse, they don’t take out the insurance and risk things.
Bugger it! You are so inspiring Emily I look forward to your blogs every day

I too have come to this site after Emily died and I have become addicted to watching her and Aisha.
They were the most wonderful couple I have ever seen, everyday we all complain about small things and Emily and Aisha have thought us through watching them on u tube how precious life is. It breaks my heart to think of the pain Aisha is going through now that Emily has left us . R.I.P Emily you were a truely remarkable human being. May God give strength to Aisha to help through her loss.
I’ve started watching Emily’s videos recently she is my bit of happiness each day. She is so inspiring. Her bubbly positive attitude despite her circumstances is awe inspiring. I’m now gonna go have porridge and protein for breakfast and some berries and think of her. An ‘Emily breakfast’

Thank you for this video , I’m been down today been really stressed , planning my wedding and with that goes money and with that I stress money makes me stress so much so I’m losing my hair ( it has to be why ) and so I been wanting to go shopping cause my other half is taking me and My Boys on a vaca and I want to go shopping badly ... so today my bitmoji I went shopping for cloths lol ... not doing the trick . Your video out things into prospective in so many ways .

I hadn’t even thought about the insurance issues with your health. Makes me appreciate how easy it is to get insurance for travel and everything else.
Agree totally about the temporary happiness, sometimes you have to take it when you can get it.

sometimes you have to take risks and travel without health insurance! my father got cancer on a gland at the back of the kidney, and within months it went into his kidney, lymphatic system and later in his lungs. His last holiday was with the whole family abroad without insurance. take risks x
I'll never understand why people are so judgmental and rude in criticisng what Emily spends her money on. Trolls need to mind their own business and cease asking personal questions. She shouldn't have had to justify what she buys.
How could anyone be critical of Emily, good god, some ppl are such assholes. Emily was the best,I discovered her 5 years after her death, and I still watch all her videos over and over, cuz I loved her whole self and Aisha as well
im so frustrated because Ive been trying to have a short break, a respite from always being at home, but these bastard hotels SAY theyre wheelchair accessible but when you phone to double check they say the entrance is accessible but the rooms and showers aren't. Whats the point of that??? Venting now, sorry, but the airlines are ok with manual wheelchairs but I need a powerchair full time so they wont accommodate me. sux big time, I need a change of scene. Thrilled to follow your vlogs, the Brighton one was great and Las Vegas was incredible! xxx
Just come to the USA. You don't need insurance. Hospitals won't deny you emergency service. If you can't pay, then you can't. Please have a go fund me for that if you're worry.
Don't worry about expenses.... Carry on with a go fund me... Ultimately, The world will pay The last tab.

I started watching this channel about at this video, many years ago, and now I’m rewatching them for encouragement. I’ve been in remission for 2 1/2 years now. I’m aware that no one might answer this but what is the insurance she’s talking about to come to the states? I live here so this is foreign to me. Did she call it “holiday insurance”? If anyone who reads this knows I’m just curious. And $5,000 just for the holiday insurance!?! 😮 TIA
