I have never commented before, but as a nurse I have noticed an issue with your left eye lately. My guess is that things are following the course they will follow. Take it slow, take it easy, but most of all just take it all in. You are a well grounded young woman with a beautiful support system around you and appear well informed by your doctor's and nurses. In my opinion, you are not only handling this with complete grace and openness, but allowing us to bear witness to this journey you are on is very special. Hold those you love close, say the things that need to be said, and know that I see you, I hear you, and I honor your sharing what you are going through.
@@barnabasschuler9025What?! I cannot believe, here you come, five years later and after watching Emily's vlogs where she had terminal cancer and about a month left to live, and you are asking if she "was in her right mind"? Get brain cancer and you'll find out it actually affects you..To me, Emily was still sharp as a razor blade, witty and her sense of humour intact. Of course she had issues, her brain was literally swelling from tumours, and despite that, she was up and about, seeing things positive. I have never to this day, watched or seen a more inspiring human being. She was something else, and we all need to watch & learn from her.
It's heart bresking because they're both such lovely girls, i know Emily passed on but on Earth or in Heaven, God Bless both these special girls, with love x ❤
Em that sounds very like super low blood pressure! Please DONT go to the gym right now until this improves? Speak to your nurse about this. Do you get your blood sugar checked regularly? I’m so glad you enjoyed your surprise BBQ Aisha is so very thoughtful 👍 You need to take the time to chill and let your body regulate these drugs. Your utterly Amazing and things will get better very soon I’m positive of this so chin up chook and take care and listen to your body. We all love you both loads xxx
Aisha the garden looks lovely lots of colour, you have green fingers as well as being beautiful . Lucky you Emily ! You may have postural hypotension which basically means your blood pressure is low when you are sitting or lying down, so when you stand it drops in your boots and takes time to normalise. It can be due to dehydration and or a side effects of your tablets. Give your nurse Peta a ring as she may be able to suggest a change in your medication. When you go from sitting to standing do so slowly. When you are standing try marching gently on the spot or flexing your toes in your shoes for a minute or so as this helps bring your blood pressure up before you start to walk away. This is a trick the soldiers do to stop them fainting on parade. Im sure this can be sorted by your team at the hospital. Big hugs xx
Great advice! Unfortunately, it can stem from pressure on certain parts of the brain, too. That's why I deal with it. My Grandpa has it, as well, due to minor brain damage from a lack of oxygen when his heart stopped for 5 minutes. I really hope you're right, and it's just her medication. It'll be okay either way, though! She seems to handle situations like this bravely and brilliantly, like always! 💜
You can also try to have water at your bedside and drink it before you even get out of bed. Get up very slowly! Throw your legs over the side of bed and just sit there for a few minutes before you stand up. I'm so sorry you aren't feeling up to par. I can't tell you not to workout because that's part of who you are. If you want to workout then do so but maybe Aisha or a friend could go with you? Much love and well wishes from the US!
POTS is a good answer / suggestion, but it would of shown up before. Another thing might be a medication interaction problem that causes a normally low BP to drop and give POTS like symptoms. There could be another 100 or so reasons for the black outs .... petit mal etc etc
Doesn't POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) result in an elevated *heart rate* upon standing? Orthostatic Hypotension (or Postural Hypotension), which we have been talking about, results in your *blood pressure* dropping upon standing up too quickly, and Emily already mentioned that she has issues with low blood pressure. I deal with OH because of pressure on my brain/brainstem due to a cerebro-spinal fluid blockage and fluid build-up inside my skull. It doesn't happen ALL the time, and it showed up later in my long list of symptoms caused by my disability. I don't think it necessarily would've shown up earlier for Emily, either. Especially not with all the changes that Emily goes through consistently with her medication and treatment.
Nurse here Emily. Having dizziness and blacking out can be dehydration. Your blood pressure drops and pulse rises upon standing causes symptoms. You were on the right track with salt, but, it needs to be himalayan pink salt which has 86 different minerals in it unlike regular salt which as two. If you can add vitamin C at the same time as well as extra potassium from something it will help as well.
Well girl your back good advice below so take it aisha your 1 in a million your sweet clever pretty and the best thing ems could have in her life love to yous both x
I wanted to skip physical therapy today due to pain- but I thought" I bet Emily is up and at it!" - so I went and kicked butt. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us. You are both lovely people.
I totally see why you fell in love with each other. The real mystery is how is there not a constant stream of love struck people following the two of you around. Just absolutely amazing women y’all are.
Aisha is so cute. She was so excited about the package with her name on it. She loved Emily so freaking much. They were a power couple. Complimented each other perfectly. Sorely missed Emily. Watch over your loved ones, send them signs xoxo
So happy you guys got the hoodies and our note! You’re both such an inspiration and examples of what true grit is. It’s helped Jordan and our family so much just seeing you keep at it everyday. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! #NEVERGIVEUP
I have those dizzy spells and with me its low blood pressure. It comes and goes. I LOVE the way you said the breakfast was crap...your honesty is so refreshing.
I absolutely love watching the pleasure that you and Aisha get from parcel opening. It also reminds me of all the good people in the world. Thank you for sharing your lives with us!
Glad you got our parcel lovely Em and Aisha - Aisha asked where we got the card, it came from a little shop in Broadway, Worcs. We spent a long time trying to choose as there were lots of cute ones, but in the end it HAD to be the unicorn, didn't it :) Merry and Juliet xxxx
Hi Sandra I can't see how to message - but this is the address Emily posted on one of her vlogs - P.O BOX: THE KINGS SCHOOL RECREATION CENTRE CANTERBURY KENT CT2 7HU
Emily Hayward I never knew you but I watch your videos all the time. You were a very strong young woman, and your UA-cam family misses you very very much and I'm sure your girlfriend does too. You have been such an inspiration here on UA-cam and even though God has called you home you've made your mark on the world people are watching your videos everyday to gain inspiration as they fight cancer. I know you're in heaven but I hope you can hear this and I hope you can see this you are very loved and you are missed very very much every day. I wish I had had the chance to meet you maybe we'll see each other one day again in heaven may God bless your heart, you are loved ... rest in peace young lady 💖
You have a fantastic wife and so brave both of you going through so much. Hugs from me an oldie keep fighting as I demand a cure for against all the Cancer things.
Geez I wish I could have told her..this is definitely postural hypotension I used to get these alot when I was dieting and weighed under 110...also my husband had cancer he got them alot would pass out fall ...get up slowly if this is happening to anyone reading this..
alice-laura Me to,i wish someone would give that beautiful fur baby a cuddle and the gorgeous cat.Let me just say first off my heart breaks for this girl, and i think she is an inspiration, and its awful what she went through and was took way to soon. However that aside im hoping and i presume the cat and dog arent theirs? does anyone know? i know its not their house,i dont think, they live with one or the others parents i belive,im hoping the animals belong to them,as ive never hardly seen either of them even stroke those animals, yet alone consider taking the dog for a bloody walk, that would of been a great form of exercise for her and the poor dog, instead of that stupid gym all the time! They were always out and about, never took the dog,i really couldnt belive it,animals give you such joy and comfort especially in times of sadness and illness etc I guess you only will understand this if you are a true animal lover.I really dont think either of them are,and its very obvious! Just hope the animals belong to the parents, does anyone know? Animals are precious to and deserve to be loved and treated right, broke my heart seeing that dog hanging around all the time, and no one ever bothering with him,and you never ever saw the cat really.I have animals, and i kiss and give them cuddles everyday,as it should be.Dont come for me guys,i feel very strongly about animals, and just dont understand when people have them, and ignore them, lets hope ive got it wrong, and they are the parents animals.R.I.P Emily.
Great wife, great friends, great bbq, amazing clobber & pressies from people who love you so just keep on doing stuff you love & fuck the cancer! GO EMILY GO!!! XX
It makes me sad that you’re finding things harder. I think you’re right and it’s just part of the whole process. Resting is good. Aisha seemed really happy in this video. I’m so glad that you found each other in this crazy world.
Nice garden Aisha, you did well on the flowers arrangement and the setting for the garden party. Sorry you did not feel so well Emily, it will get better, my dear. I think you are dealing with a little low blood pressure ; talk to the doc. about it - Much love to you both oxox
It's so nice to see an update before I was expecting one, I always look forward to your videos. I love how real you are, I love your personality and motivation. You're inspiring too. Thank you for being you, and your lass is an amazing lass too xxx
OMG I love you girls. That Emily's eyes - so piercing, like they really see you when she looks at someone. And you two are so natural together. I could go on and on............
Oh wow Aisha is the best! What a lovely gathering of your friends you worked with Emily! How cool is that!!!! 💐💕❤️ I love how you two talk to each other it is so cute!!!! ❤️ Some lovely gifts you both received and I hoped it brightened you both up even if it was raining! To your blackouts I would ask your nurse. The only thing I can come up with is if you are lying down or sitting purposely move slowly so it won’t give you that black out feeling. But honestly I don’t know. You are still looking well and I am happy you are having some fun this week!! 😀 My day was shit but when I opened my phone and saw your notification I was all smiles and all my shit went away! Happy now!!! 😀🎊 Loving Aisha’s garden!!!!! Love to you both!!!! xx 😘❤️💕✌🏻 And sorry for the edits on my comments but I type like shit! 😂
I have had the blackouts that you are having, for as long as I can remember I used to get them during growth spurts and I still get them for couple of weeks at a time sometimes collapsing to the floor. I have always been told they are ‘head rushes’ caused by standing up to quick and the blood pressure in your brain getting too low for a few seconds I can only suggest making a conscious effort to get up slowly when standing up, if lying down don’t go straight to standing but sit up for a few seconds first. Possibly try to be aware, that like with me sometimes they can make you collapse so be careful not to fall on anything and hopefully they will pass after a week or so. I hope this helps, and I want you to know that I honestly aspire to be more like you, a strong, honest, kind person who has a gift of bringing sunshine into peoples lives.
Emily - It’s lovely to see you & Aisha enjoying time together and to watch you unwrapping gifts - you both deserve them! Please do take extra good care to really rest up whilst you are experiencing what sounds like very low blood pressure/feeling faint - understandably, you must be exhausted and in need of lots of extra rest. We all love you Emily & Aisha XXXX
Ok so this little thread here just made me feel like maybe I have something in my eye 😳 Life is fkin rubbish sometimes...and bad stuff happens to really good people...then you read strangers trying their best to make other strangers happy ....this is what makes humans different...special. Lots of love to you all..imma go sob like a big ol ninny...must have hormones or summat 👀
You two are totally the best, you're always full of joy fun and laughter, and I'm sure that for you Emily it must be the hardest ever thing to be every time you come visit us, and as for Aisha, well!!!......she just amazing, to be always so cheerful and so encouraging for you, Bless her because I'm certain that cannot be easy for her especially when she loves you so much but she never complains and always has a smile on her very beautiful face. Emily I think those blackouts you asked our opinion on, is your blood pressure problem, I've also just come through two cancers (I've just been told I'm in remission, haha but then I've been told that before - I still keep smiling though) anyway I too get those blackouts and the oncologist says its the BP, so hopefully yours is for the same reason, I'm sure it will be. My love to you both and I have to say this, that to tell the truth its such a relief when I see your up on YT, I start looking from about 9pm then throw a big wobbly if your late lol. Hugs and loads of love to you both. Vicki xxx
I am so glad you could spend time with your friends; truly special gift. You take those bits of rest when you need to . We all will be here for you still when you wake. You have an incredible group of supporters worldwide, most of whom you'll never meet, but...who share one common goal to be here for you in thought, words and prayers. I will gladly give you some of my strength and since i have high blood pressure i will pass that along as well. Thinking of you.
Slightly off the subject, but I didn't know you had a gansta cat all sitting on kitchen table like a boss❤️ seen your dog a lot, nice to see another member of the family 😃
You two crack me up! I love watching the back and forth between you both. I can actually see the love and care that you have for one another and the fact that Aisha thought to invite your friends over to cheer you up was awesome. What a sweetie! I have low blood pressure as well and I have just learned to try to move slowly and purposefully when I get up and if I start to feel like the blackness is coming I find a spot to sit. It can be a bit embarressing to sit yourself down on the sidewalk or curb or in the mall on the floor but I've found it's much less embarressing than falling over fainted and cracking your head on the cement. Funny part of that story is that they called the ambulance and I was so embarressed that I pulled the sheet up over my face and people thought they were taking out a dead body from the mall. I can laugh about it now. Anyway, keep your chin up (and off the floor). Love you both lots.
How fun it was watching you open your surprises. So bubbly and striving to find so much positiveness in each waking hour, though you feel like shit. Your amazing Em and Asha is such a gentle soul to have backing you . Take care girls and enjoy your special moments cuddles xxxxxxxxx
Low blood pressure used have it really bad just eating more made me better. When my blood pressure was low getting up made me dizzy and had to lay down again my breathing was effected, Emily while you on your treatment you have to force yourself to eat or your bringing it up so you will feel like you do, hope you will recover soon love best wishes.x
I experienced the exact same symptoms Emily, whenever I stood up, my vision would be effected and I would see black patches , sometimes my hearing would be effected to and sometimes whenI had a very bad episode, I would feel really sick as well, mine was found to be a sudden drop in my blood pressure, making sure that you remain hydrated can help and that you are eating enough as well, it could well be that one or several of your meds, that they happen to lower your medication. Was so thoughtful and kind of Aisha to invite a few of really close friends round, it’s so wonderful how she knows just what will lift you up , when you have had a challenging time, and you do the same for her her too. Love how gorgeous the garden is looking sending you both love and positivity xxxxxx
Absolutely love the garden, Aisha! What a beautiful oasis for you both. Emily, my father has the same problem and it's also from low blood pressure. He has actually passed out as a result. His energy is in the toilet as a result and didn't see a change until he blood pressure came up. Ring your nurse and see if there is anything they can do.
Aw, you can tell how tired you are and the drugs are really causing you grief. I believe you are going to “get back on it” so don’t worry about your vlogs. They are still awesome and you two are still amazing no matter what. I’m so glad Aisha got a nice present, and it looks great on her. I’m a newish subscriber and you are fascinating. I am well but have spent my life scared shitless of cancer. My mom died of it when I was 20. That was a long time ago and they didn’t have half the treatments they do today. So just go with it and the way you feel each hour and each day and when you can give more and do more you will. You are amazing. Aisha is amazing. Thank you for being such an inspiration to me and many many more.
I've only just came across your channel so I'm working backwards to watch all your videos. You are such an inspiration with everything you are going through. I love how you continue to be positive x
Hi Emily, lovely to see you feeling more upbeat! Looks like Aisha organised a fab suprise for you, she really is a diamond. Take it steady, sending lots of love as always ❤
Stand up really slow Emily when you are feeling dizzy. Yes, it is probably your blood pressure that takes a drop when you stand up. Go slow my dear! I can tell you're not feeling great right right now. You're a strong young woman and I know you'll be feeling better soon. 💗💗💗 diane/Denver/USA
@Old Mother Riley im so so sorry about your sister when you know from personal experience it put a whole different slant on it. Em was some woman. Both lovely people. So young to leave us. I hope your sister has the support she needs in this difficult time. Take care stay safe x
@Old Mother Riley your welcome.. Emily inspired me so much after breast cancer it was a struggle all cancer and life threatening illnesses are. Life can be a struggle take care xx
I love the CAT that's waddling off the table in the back ground at 9:22 - SO FUNNY - and you are an actual TROOPER emily and Aisha are so amazing - actual lovely genuine couple.
I used to experience those spells when I was under weight and not eating enough. I changed my diet and it went away within 2 weeks, lovely garden Aisha please feel better Emily.
Wow your garden is just beautiful. Looks a lot like my sisters backyard. I live in second story condo now so I don’t have a yard anymore. The blackout feeling can happen sometimes with different meds. You definitely should speak with your nurse but in the meantime stay very hydrated and increase your salt intake...can be a little tricky with your cankles. Be careful working out until you figure it out.
That’s a lovely surprise Aisha arranged for you she’s such a sweetheart Emily you look a bit drained hunny please take care of yourself yous will make amazing parents 💋💖💋
Emily, I am so sorry you are feeling worse, I get the black out symptoms in the morning when I rise, my cardiologist suggested to sit on the edge of the bed a few minutes before standing so your head can catch up with your heart beat. I’m sure it is your meds, it’s a pain but I know you will work through it! :)
Emily, my love to you and Aisha. What a wonderful surprise, to have some loved ones come over, so that you all can chill on an absolute gorgeous day ! keep on fighting, girlfriend , you've got lot's of people out there, around the world, pulling for you! Love and blessings Xxoo
Your backyard is huge and gorgeous. I laughed when I saw the clothes drying outside; I haven’t seen that since I was a child. Love the smell of clothes dried in fresh air. Hope you’ve called doc by now to discuss the blackouts. That is scary. And hope you are having a better day today.
When you get up fast, your blood pressure is dropping quickly causing the blackouts. When you get up, do it slowly, stand still until you get your bearings. When lying down, sit up first and go slowly.
It was so nice of Aisha to surprise you with a bunch of your friends Emily and her garden looks fabulous. She's a gem! I'm sorry you're experiencing a new side effect, but hopefully someone in the comments can offer you some helpful suggestions, but I would also ring your nurse and get her opinion as well. Always sending love and positivity to you both.
I feel so blessed and privileged to be a part of "this lot." There is nothing but love over here. I want to send Aisha a package just for her because I love her reactions so much (and of course because she deserves it). Love to both of you from Tennessee over here in the States. ❤
Looks like you had a lovely time with Aisha and your friends, fab vlog as always and really good to see you and know you’re ok. Blackouts sound tough to deal with - not a nurse so no advise but I do have something that I like to say to myself when times are tough (I have an autistic, non verbal toddler who struggles with going to sleep and meltdowns) and that’s the very simple phrase “this too shall pass.” I repeat it to myself loads when I’m struggling and it does really help, things do always pass and life gets back to being good again. You are such a strong woman and you should be so proud of yourself xxx
The two of you are so damn adorable. I loved seeing Aisha come skipping out in the beginning with a huge smile and the garden is so lovely. The party looked great, all having a good time. Emily, yeah I think your right sweet pea, it's your blood pressure. Had that myself and was told to get up very slowly. It can be scary. I'm sure your doctor can advise you. Love you both!!!
Emily i have some blackout tips. I have a condition called POTS that means I blackout constantly throughout the day when I change posture as my blood pressure plummets. Eat more salt to bring your BP up, when it’s happening sit or lay down with your legs elevated, when you stand up get up SUPER slowly so your BP has a chance to fight upwards with you and stay cool as heat makes it lower too. Drink plenty as dehydration makes it go whacky low even without postural change so that’s a big help. I go to the gym to try to get some resistance to the drops, it hasn’t helped a ton but helps mentally. I do sit down weight training on days that it’s really bad and avoid cardio until you have a better grip on it :) hope that helps!
I have very low blood pressure. If I stand up too quick I pass out! Just take things really slowly when you go to stand up. Sending you girls loads of love. And thank you so much for the vlog. Xx
Yes! Blood pressure will do that! I had it while pregnant. Scary I was just always afraid I was going to pass out! Hopefully this passes and and you get back to feeling back to your normal spunky happy energetic self! It puts me in sad place seeing you upset and not feeling great!💕
Emily sounds like low blood pressure,I suffer from high blood pressure.. just be careful, and not to over due things ,i.e. the gym ...glad you guys had a great day with your friends . Keep strong . X
Emily!!! Ur backyard looks so pretty! Aisha, has a green thumb! As far as ur blackouts/dizziness, call ur nurse. She will help u figure it out...get some rest and move slowly...lots of water, lots of good food! Love u both!
as soon as i got the notification i had to pretend i needed the loo so i could escape the family waiting for me so we could watch sumthin on telly.15mins later and they still had it on pause...oooops!!but i have my priorities ya know wot i mean😉love ya.
Hey Em and Aisha, you two continue to inspire me. I have been married to my husband 19 years this July, together 23 years and you and Aisha feel like a couple that's been together that long. My chronic illness took away our chance to have kids, to travel, to do anything involving adrenaline because it makes me go into anaphylactic shock. I think your cancer has bonded you two as well. You've both been faced with adversity and continue striving and doing your best to stay positive. I love you both so much and I've never even met you. Seems odd, but seems right at the same time. Praying steady. You're a rock star xo😉🇨🇦❤p.s don't worry about how often you post, or what the content is like, we just want to see you and Aisha and Cookie and know you're all ok
Hay emliy Hayward .i subscriber gelnn julifer .i very excited to see you on UA-cam .because you are so brave to make video on UA-cam.i know you got sick (cancer).and i Will support you.may God bless you .Emily.
Sweetheart 💞 dont stress about how often you upload, please. If youre struggling mentally or physically, aside from the meds I can honestly recommend breathing exercises and meditation, they are both fab for calming anxiety and are a fab coping mechanism. Sending you all the love in the world...keep tearing the arse out of it kiddo...😘
Emily stay strong! Thinking of you two even more now, being in the UK for a bit. Also as I work in cancer clinical study research field...I would wish nothing more than for Em to get better. Also Aisha is really such a babe...I need her energy! She's so purely happy and grateful for everything. I am also wondering if she's not originally from Newcastle upon Tyne area...I was there for 2 days and the accent really reminded me of her-I was turning my head all the time, thinking that she's next to me lol. Take care! Xxx
Just DO YOU ... I'll not stop reminding you beautiful soul. Your well being comes first. Time with Aisha second 😘 It's a blessing when you do post ... We love you both and love to see the good & blah. When you feel ready. 💋💋💋👍🏼👍🏼🌺🌺👑👑👑
I have low blood pressure as a side effect from an auto-immune disease and decided years ago not to continue with medication because of side effects and you were correct in your other vlog with upping your salt intake! Salt raises your blood pressure but also needs an upped intake of water to be able to retain the salt for it to have any positive affect on your blood pressure. Similarly my eyesight 'blacks out' when I stand up because of something called Vasovagal Syncope and if you google you'll find small exercises you can do to help out with it such as wiggling your toes as you stand up (sounds silly but encourages oxygenated blood to move faster around your body when naturally gravity is taking it away) but can also happen naturally after exercising I've found because of adrenaline and heat. Good luck with everything lovely x
Sounds like what is called orthostatic hypotension. That is when your blood pressure drops when you stand up. You need to sit at the edge of the chair or bed and let your feet be on the floor for a minute or so before you stand and then stand very slowly. That should help with the dizziness. You can also put your head between your knees for a few seconds if the dizziness is really bad then sit up slowly.
Blackouts sounds like low blood pressure for sure, definitely mention that to your nurse as to what can help with it. Lovely to see both of your faces ♥️
The garden looks so colourful, and Aisha you are such an angel 😇 looks like you had a great time at the barbecue. Sorry to hear your not feeling too good thanks for sharing your life with us. Take care 💖💖
Cant belive I only got to see these video's AFTER this beautiful soul as already transitioned to the nxt life. I hope she is a soul I meet in the nxt life 😢❤❤❤
I stumbled upon your channel and I’m just in awe! You’re such a strong person, it’s incredible how you manage to stay positive. You both are so cute together and I truly wish you’ll grow old together despite the odds! Sending you both love 💛
.. your love, laughter & kindness makes the world go 'round ! .. 🌸🦋☘.. .. prayers continue for comfort & encouragement & strength. Thank you, sincerely, for inspiring & making my day better. -- your fruit salad was perfection. Wishing you both a restful and peaceful goodnight, & a wonderful, loving tomorrow. ☘
Just want to say I don’t know you personally but you are a inspiration to people dealing with what you deal with, to stay positive, and keep fighting and not give up :) your amazing and keep fighting and doing what your doing. Your an inspiration. And don’t let it beat you, and take away your positive attitude and also Aisha she’s a credit to you! And herself ♥️
Emily that does sound like the effects of low blood pressure, you need to take it easy, but I applaud your stamina, you are a super star! Aisha your garden is beautiful, well done you have a talent there! Also I would like to stay, firstly Aisha you are the best wife ever, secondly your relationship is so wonderful to see and thirdly thank you for inspiring me every day. Lots of love to you both xx
Sounds like postural hypotension, or a sudden drop in blood pressure caused by standing up too quick. Possibly caused by your meds? Just take it easy and no sudden moves!
Liz MacLeod That’s what I was thinking! I have the condition myself and I have to keep my fluid and salt intake higher than normal to keep it under control. I drink diluted sports drinks throughout the day and it keeps me from having any fainting episodes.
My son has a similar condition. He has to be sure to keep his fluid and salt intake up. Though he's ten and it's a battle sometimes. I wonder it's caused by meds with Emily.
Emily you are so amazing, stoic and such a great girl. I have only recently found your vlogs on youtube. I admire you 100 percent for how you are handling such a gruelling condition and I love the way you put your vlogs together. You have real talent, courage and balls. XXX
Its called orthostatic hypotension. The only thing to help is, figuring out what's causing it, stay hydrated and get up slower. It could be a sign of anemia. But it could also be caused from your cancer and/or your meds. You can diagnose yourself with a b/p machine. Check your b/p when laying down, then sitting up, then standing. If you do get a automatic b/p machine, I highly recommend one with a upper arm cuff. The wrist ones are convenient but are far less accurate.
You can also try compression stockings, up your salt intake. Definitely let you medical team know. It's probably a side effect of your treatments but they still may check you heart to just be sure.
Love love love both of your hoodies!! That’s what I call the hooded sweatshirts. Emily, you crack me up with your caps, I wear caps all the time and I’m constantly turning mine around backwards too. My grandsons always tell me, “Gram?! Why you wearing your hat backwards?!” Well, because I want to, is that a good reason? “Yes, I guess so, but we just thought we should tell you.” Well excellent, I’ve got my own fashion police sounds like. Wonderful to see you two enjoying the beautiful garden as well! Emily, to answer your shout out about what to do about blackouts, I hear you on that one, when I stand up too quickly that happens to me, I have low blood pressure as well, but I just let the moment pass & allow my body to catch back up with my brain. 👍 Have a wonderful weekend!!
Hi Emily! I never commented on any videos before, but I felt that I had to tell you how inspirational your videos are. You and Aishas are some of the most positive people and really keep each others spirit upbeat. I'm a nursing student and would definitely say your blackouts are originating from low blodpressure. You could ask about taking an orthostatic blodpressure test next time you're in the hospital just to confirm. Is fairly quick and nothing invasive. I would in the meantime, even though I get the impression that you drink lots of water, keep hydrated. xxx Take care both of you

I just found Emily, love her enthusiasm. I wonder though if she was in her right mind?
@@barnabasschuler9025 what does that mean?

R.I.P. Emily. Your passing has broken the hearts of many. Such a brave girl with a zest for life. xxx
IanRM ♡♡♡
D D rest
I'm happy Emily had so many friends. She was so loved. I hope they're all well.
If you can add vitamin C at the same time as well as extra potassium from something it will help as well.
akaSuzanne I completely agree!!!!!!
Agree, she looked a bit pale too, low blood pressure definitely wouldn’t help
akaSuzanne as a Nurse I second that advice. It's nice to meet you.
I 100% agree with everything you said👍👍👍
Well girl your back good advice below so take it aisha your 1 in a million your sweet clever pretty and the best thing ems could have in her life love to yous both x
I wanted to skip physical therapy today due to pain- but I thought" I bet Emily is up and at it!" - so I went and kicked butt. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us. You are both lovely people.
Never a day goes past that I do not think of you. Miss you both so very much😔
I totally see why you fell in love with each other.
AISHA...that periwinkle colour looks gorgeous on you! Give Em lots of gentle, tight squishy hugs for me please. Xoxo

Jonathan Vince yes! We must demand for better and cures!
Jonathan Vince n
Geez I wish I could have told her..this is definitely postural hypotension I used to get these alot when I was dieting and weighed under 110...also my husband had cancer he got them alot would pass out fall ...get up slowly if this is happening to anyone reading this..
i want to hug that dog omg so sweet
alice-laura Me to,i wish someone would give that beautiful fur baby a cuddle and the gorgeous cat.Let me just say first off my heart breaks for this girl, and i think she is an inspiration, and its awful what she went through and was took way to soon.
God bless you all, rest in peace emily.
Beautiful girls ... Aisha I am so sorry for your loss ... Emily was so special x
I'm always delighted to see a notification from you. I'm going through a very tough time at the moment, and love watching your videos.
feel better soon xx
josh langley 😍😘 sweet Josh!
Ok so this little thread here just made me feel like maybe I have something in my eye 😳

Lots of love to you all..imma go sob like a big ol ninny...must have hormones or summat 👀
josh langley night bloke 😘
Nic Kew right!! 😢😊😍
I know, I had the same thought! I’m glad they have another member in their loving family!
Me too! Love cats as well as dogs
Maureen Fitzgerald true! Everyone people and animals are so chilled in that house! It's all ❤️❤️there
Desderata of happiness Yeah I know right? 😀❤️
Actually their kitty has been in several videos but I think she is wearing camo! 😉😊
Aisha you are so cute. “I got a separate note for just me!!!” Hope y’all had a great chill day. Rainy days and the cuddles are the best
You are so inspiring, we recently found out my grandma has cancer. I think it's awesome that you still live your life.
You guys!! Your garden looks BOMB!! Way to go Aisha!!
I revisit these vlogs and miss you so much Emily. What troopers both of you. ❤❤
Me too 💖
Garden is looking very well :)
Loving the garden, wow!! Love you two so much. HOPE, LOVE, LIGHT FOR THE MIRACLE YOU DESERVE EMILY xxx
I love your video's. You and Aisha are an inspiration to us all. (Hugs) Your garden is lovely!
When you get up fast, your blood pressure is dropping quickly causing the blackouts. When you get up, do it slowly, stand still until you get your bearings. When lying down, sit up first and go slowly.
Aisha is such a lovely calm woman. Positive thoughts, Emily
Hahaha! I love when Aisha literally "leaps" into shot!
Emily and Aisha...you are such a beautiful and inspiring couple. Love you girls so so much!!!♡♡♡♡♡
Emily i have some blackout tips.
Lian Wymer BUHAHAHAHA 😂😂😂😂😂 Oh can I relate!! LOL
I am just so in love with aisha. my heart melts evertime I see her in your videos.
Nic Kew I
That back garden is so nice!
What a lovely surprise for you eoth your friends coming over. Awww Aisha's the best eh.
Aww you poor thing looks like you are getting worse! But! This does not have to be the big slide! You could bounce back! Love you xx
Its blood pressure. And they’re called grey outs when you are conscious but lose vision.
shakeandblake92 yes! I would get them when my blood pressure was low
Aisha you're so good at keeping things normal a great support for Emily. Emily you are just amazing, xxxx

I always look forward to your notifications. Lovely surprise with the BBQ and the garden looks so tranquil.
Definitely postural hypotension- blood pooling in your legs and not getting up to your head when you stand up. Compression stockings can really help!
