    Bent arm planche was game changing for me. As soon as I unlocked the bent arm, I can feel my muscles more, feel like I know exactly what muscles I need to train for.

    Wow! How I wish I had arm strength like yours. How I wish I have a body like yours!
    That 1st exercise in the video……I am going to try that in my next gym session. At least the bent feet touching the floor is going to give me leverage. The rest, I can only dream on doing 😂

    3:35 or about that, I would say you rather need to focus on lock out and trying to hold the planche a second between reps, thats how full planche push ups are done by elite athletes, and it is because of this detail that Austin Dunham was roasted by the Barkage. Doing it as I am describing will help your planche, doing it as you are describing is the best for sheer pushing strength tho.

      Dude. Don't buy it. Just make it yourself or ask a carpenter to make it for you. This way you can make the grip comfortable on however you want.

      Well, what do you use pike push ups for? It can do some of the things a pike pushup can, but not others. So the answer depends on what function of the ppu you're trying to replace.

      How bad is it, did you see a physio ? I also hurt my wrist kinda badly two years ago but now I'm fully recovered and training calisthenics again pain-free (and I'm a heavy guy). With proper care I believe you also can recover 💪🏾💪🏾

      @@StratosFair it's pretty bad that I can't really put much weight on my right wrist but after a week or so I can put some weight on it already. Btw is it a must to go and see a physio?

      @@E4King i guess for now you should do some daily rehab exercises for your wrist (look up on fitnessfaqs, calimove and tom merrick's channels) and use paralletes to minimize the load on the wrists. only see a physio if the pain gets worse over time (or if you have insurance lol)

      I've lost 60% of my pushing strength
      i can't handstand without paraletts.
      I need to lose 7kg max

    hello! I was just wondering if there's someone who could help me out with a little issue of mine. I just got back to doing calisthenics after a long time. Do u guys experience a little electric shock at the elbow while doing push ups? If yes, what do u think is the solution for it. At first, I thought I was just overworking my body but just now I just started my first set and I already felt it.

      Warm up your elbows more before the first set and look up ulnar nerve flossing

      The way you put it, "electric shock", makes me think it's something neurological, maybe ulnar nerve entrapment. If you can, see a doctor, this might not be the kind of thing that bro advice from the internet can solve.

      if u have more endurance u can do these but for foundation strength for these u have to pseudo lean planche push up

      Both are horizontal pushing exercises. I'd recommend training them interchangeably as you have to similar but different methods of progress.

      no; many exercises in calisthenics are skill based. You have to practice the skill. no amount of strength gains can give you the skill.

      @@jasperhelkamaki4552this guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about. an overhead press is the equivalent of a handstand pushup, with the only difference being there is no balance involved, isolating your shoulders. this in turn will strengthen your planche push ups, as the planche is a shoulder based move, and overhead press is a shoulder exercise.
