That's real nice! Very detailed information and easy to flow instructions!! Thanks for the lesson. 😀Amy
Impressive. Thanks for sharing!
You are supposed to reinforce the corner beads in the cornes with paper tape between them so it does not crack
A pro in his natural environment !!!!!
Thanx for da up load guys really thanx
Good video.. Thanks
Love it, the process, the presentation, a professional's explanation. Curious to me why no paper or transition between vertical and horizontal bead on the wall surface. A job dog with wagging tail would add to lower texture fur sure. Thanks, Scott
Very good job, I only recommend that in the corners when you put the metals I suggest you fill it in and put a piece of tapy so that it does not crack, the corners greetings ...
Man I got a shit ton of drywall jobs in Colorado, I’d love to sub contract to this guy!!

When do you put the paper metals instead, to clean it with the spatula, wet it with a sponge, and squeeze it and with that you clean the metals it is super good ... then now to cover ... greetings 👍👍
I’m getting ready to do 7 windows like these so this video is very helpful THANKS! I do have a couple questions: at what point were you on the flats and butts before you started the windows? And is there a reason that you didn’t do the bottom outside of the windows? Thanks again
I always take the flats and butts first then install corner bead and float and then float the boats and flats into the window as far as the bottom corners go as long as their level should be fine with a touchup to spout the edge. If the corners not leveled and you’ll have to float under a little bit. But the trim should cover it
I was putting up drywall and got to the window like...umm how do it finish this lol? Thanks
Because most diy ppl have all that gear...lol. good info on the finishing tho
What kind of microphone are you using for your videos?
First several videos I did it was just an iPhone last maybe five have been just a GoPro
👍👍😊
Do you have to put corner bead in the windows or can you go without?
The corner bead is meant to cover the joint between the return of the window and the outside wall if you don’t put corner bead on it you can wrap it with wood but you have to do one of those two to have a nice finish.
@@scottssheetrockservices okay we decided to go with the wood. Thank you.
What brand of bead are you using?
the brand of corner bead that I use is called No Coat it’s distributed by Certainteed
What is the name of the corner bead you keep saying? Milco?
The name of the cornerbead is called no Coat it’s made by Certainteed
What kind of mud did you use?
On that particular demonstration I believe it was USG +3 you can use any kind of mud for the install just make sure it’s loose and you have no blisters

@@scottssheetrockservices thanks for the quick response!
@@scottssheetrockservices when skim coating the drywall what do we start with first ,is it the corner beads on corner and windows please help,I would like to know
@@davyphiri7503 I like to always start with a cornerbead first are you windows straight six and then 45 then I’ll follow up with all of my recessed seems we call them flats. Skim all of those just to the edge of the mud on your windows and cornerbead. Then but joints and screws
@@scottssheetrockservices thank you so much for your quick response greetings
What are those plastic beads called lol plastic bead?
It’s actually not a plastic. It’s a laminate paper faced, and as you saw in the video we glue it on with mud and it has a lifetime guarantee it. I’ll never crack and has no metal in it so it can’t rust. Really bad ass product! Been using it for 17 years in my business and I’ve never fixed a single crack corner bead behind it. Just saying…
That's what my girlfriend said give me 90 minutes and it'll be hard
What up from galliano
What’s up fellow, Louisiana man!
