    You are supposed to reinforce the corner beads in the cornes with paper tape between them so it does not crack

    Love it, the process, the presentation, a professional's explanation. Curious to me why no paper or transition between vertical and horizontal bead on the wall surface. A job dog with wagging tail would add to lower texture fur sure. Thanks, Scott

    Very good job, I only recommend that in the corners when you put the metals I suggest you fill it in and put a piece of tapy so that it does not crack, the corners greetings ...

    When do you put the paper metals instead, to clean it with the spatula, wet it with a sponge, and squeeze it and with that you clean the metals it is super good ... then now to cover ... greetings 👍👍

    I’m getting ready to do 7 windows like these so this video is very helpful THANKS! I do have a couple questions: at what point were you on the flats and butts before you started the windows? And is there a reason that you didn’t do the bottom outside of the windows? Thanks again

    • @scottssheetrockservices
      @scottssheetrockservices  Рік тому +1

      I always take the flats and butts first then install corner bead and float and then float the boats and flats into the window as far as the bottom corners go as long as their level should be fine with a touchup to spout the edge. If the corners not leveled and you’ll have to float under a little bit. But the trim should cover it

    Do you have to put corner bead in the windows or can you go without?

    • @scottssheetrockservices
      @scottssheetrockservices  3 роки тому +1

      The corner bead is meant to cover the joint between the return of the window and the outside wall if you don’t put corner bead on it you can wrap it with wood but you have to do one of those two to have a nice finish.

    • @kassidynixon2000

    What are those plastic beads called lol plastic bead?

    • @scottssheetrockservices
      @scottssheetrockservices  3 місяці тому

      It’s actually not a plastic. It’s a laminate paper faced, and as you saw in the video we glue it on with mud and it has a lifetime guarantee it. I’ll never crack and has no metal in it so it can’t rust. Really bad ass product! Been using it for 17 years in my business and I’ve never fixed a single crack corner bead behind it. Just saying…
