@@antoneverbright No, in your dreams that they don't stand a chance. You talk about decline, have you seen our young players coming through? We're rotating like 3 squads atm, we made 10 changes every match almost and only lost 2 games this year, France can only dream of doing that, and frankly everyone else too. We have new locks, wings, loose forwards and the best part is they can all play multiple positions. Lmao, you're in for a massive surprise come 2027. France is looking pretty good too but nobody beats us for sheer depth. Rassie is 10 steps ahead, he's gonna rotate so every game we'll have fresh players while the rest get tired towards the quarter finals cause all of you will be forced to keep playing your best players.
We missed a drop goal to lock it up. We spilled the pill if it had been offloaded to Scott Barrett, which could have led to a try. That neck roll led to a penalty for France. I don't believe it was a neck roll. Clearly, an arm over the shoulder could have easily been a different result. Very entertaining game to watch,
A simple observation over many years. The ABs wore white and not their usual black in their latest test. Although I don’t have the precise numbers, I have noticed that on more occasions than not, the ABs have lost tests when not wearing their trademark black jerseys. Using your vast resources, can you please confirm or discount that. Thank you.
The Blacks were real bulldozers, the French had difficulty containing them in the first half, but during the second half the French tightened the game and the Blacks began to tire, the more the decision to take the 3 points instead of trying the penaltouch cost them victory
Thank god someone is asking why the 3 each time in the last 10mins when behind on the score board. They are the All Blacks, back themselves to get a try from 5m out.
Don’t wanna be that guy with the glass half emptied. BUT we needed to close out that game. After so many close games that haven’t gone our way it’s a bit ominous. What’s our midfield doing ? Still not entirely sold on Reiko and Jordie. Then who’s up next ? Havili, Proctor with his 3-4 games experience
Why is Havilli there again..i still think jordie is a better 15 than 12 after all he was brought in due to the dilemma the Abs faced in midfield under Foster Reiko again very effective wing the strike power he'd add alongside Clark and Talea 👍🏻
No way Mils, no way. This has not been a great year and any kiwi who thinks that has gone soft. The All Blacks have always been the pinnacle of sports in NZ and we hold them to the highest of standards. This isn't good enough. Losing to teams at home isn't good enough for us considering our history. You can say we're building to something but this has been an extremely mediocre era of All Blacks post 2015. Foster's All Blacks never really got off the ground compared to previous eras and this year is not off to a great start either. Yes the rest of the world have massively improved their game, especially teams like Ireland and Argentina, but we look like we haven't progressed at all. We've been stalled for a decade and people should not be "glass half full" on this.
Surely the AB will beat France next year, on tour to NZ. And then the Bokke have two matches there too. That will be a massive challenge, can’t wait, the AB are improving, Bokke are building, Walabies are back, Argies competitive!
Hindsight now but personally believed Razor made a tactical mistake re Beauden for Mckenzie the later played a very composed and near complete game against Ireland now add Roigard and they would've caused problems for France 💯
Let’s be clear this French side is not at It’s best, playing without a 10 ( Ramos is a full back), our scrum is weak and some of the Most talismanic players are injured ( Ntamack or Penaud), not saying this as an excuse because we won but if you think that means the ABs are OKish I think you are wrong…
Razor has learned alot this year. The whole team is learning. altho they all can polish up a bit after France. We had France - Peter lakai schoolboy pick n go away from support def cost us points when he got isolated and turned over. I would like both Jordan Barrett and Will jordan to run in their outsides or straighten and pass early to back up more often. Rather than stab kick a useless unchaseable kick and then have it run back 50 m or kicked 50 plus metres behind them. It ruins attacking chances and puts us under so much unneeded pressure. Will had a 2 on 1 outside him and stabbed a kick to nowhere that got booted us back 60m.The forwards must hate seeing wasted kicking after all their hard work. BB was super wasteful with the boot too. Build more pressure ball in hand to bring on a penalty or try opportunity. I dont think Scotty B will ever kick a penalty in the last 10 if we are 4 plus behind again.
NZ are very much back, as a suffering Japan and England fan, I envy the quality of this team and the management. Don't worry, you will beat France in the summer. It is sad they can't send their top players but will still be competitive no doubt
And France made the exact same mistake against SA on their lost game in the RWC. French here. I hate when our team calculates too safy when countdown screams otherwise.
I don't think NZ or FRA had the stamina or sharpness to attack in the last 10 minutes of either of these games. A kick to touch would probably have lost it as well. Now if it was SA with a fresher bomb squad pack, I'd say kick to touch and go rumble.
Jeff Wilson is terrible for this All Blacks side. I hope he doesnt influence the New Zealand public too much. The first season of a new coach should never be too results driven. The performance they dished out against Ireland is indicative of a good season. It shows growth. To be so critical of them is crazy. He needs to go. The All Blacks deserve better.
In my opinion, opting for the penalty kick was the correct decision, given the circumstances. Statistically, it provided the team with the widest range of options in the final six or so minutes. At the time, they were four points behind, meaning a try was absolutely necessary to win if they failed to score from a lineout or another set-piece. However, by taking the penalty kick, they reduced the margin to just one point, opening up multiple pathways to victory. From that moment onward, they could have won through a penalty, a drop goal, or a try. This significantly increased their chances of securing the game, particularly given the time remaining. What’s critical to understand is that New Zealand had only managed two tries in the preceding 73/74 minutes, underscoring how difficult it was to break through the French defense. Scoring another try at that point was improbable. By taking the points on offer, they gave themselves the chance to put pressure on the French in their half, where they could exploit any French mistakes to win through one of the three available options. A lack of attacking execution in the French half during the closing minutes proved costly, but this wasn’t necessarily a failure of the decision itself. For comparison, look at the Ireland vs. New Zealand quarterfinal. Ireland, trailing by four points, knew they needed a try and relentlessly drove New Zealand back to their own 10-meter line from deep within the Irish 22. They pushed into a range where a drop goal could have been viable-just as New Zealand could have done in this scenario had they gained field position. This thinking also mirrors Ireland’s approach during the second Test of their South African tour, where they played for and created a decisive final opportunity to win. It was a calculated, percentage-based decision aimed at maximizing opportunities. Things didn’t play out as hoped in this instance, leading to hindsight criticism of the penalty kick. However, the decision to reduce the margin to one point was strategically sound. It allowed for more avenues to victory, unlike a missed opportunity from the corner, which would have left them solely reliant on scoring a try-a far riskier proposition given the context of the game.
Its good input, but then, its not "the New Zealand way" is a valid point, by historical evidence, for better or worse. Perhaps some growing pains for NZ, the professional game has been growing, defences of top teams getting better and better, that gap in execution NZ could comfortably rely on, for those game winning tries in dying minutes just aren't as easy as use to be, and its difficult to accept from a fan/pundit perspective, wanting to see the ABs of old, emotionally tied to it.
Well said! Early on in the game, we opted for trys on at least 2 occasions, which were kickable. Yes, in hindsight, shoulda-coulda-woulda. Penalty kicks for the posts won us the Ireland match. Either way, it was an entertaining game.
It's a satanic occultic practice that should be banned. Calling on ancestors for help, which by the way is bullsh-t coz only the demonic reply. Ancestors are just demons appearing as kin. All Pacific islanders dabble init.
That was bad was Reese out of petrol look like he was in neutral can forgive ALB at least he gave everything to try and pull him in. when France shut down our attack in the latter rounds i was surprised we didn't try variation kicks behind their D line anything to breakup their momentum another thing what happened to our drive specifically the rolling maul we are effective at stopping them have a pack that can initiate but don't emphasize it as a weapon which is strange because we invented and perfected the rolling maul. can you imagine the Abs proficient in the maul come 2027 ..
Mid field scrums close to the 22 are underutilized. We have a very strong scrum and strike power in the backs... the scrum ties up forward defense and leaves huge gaps for power players like Caleb to have a one on one close to the line... I put my money on Caleb to power through his man Edit: It sets up for scrum penalties and possible yellow cards too so you can get a bit from them
Two big big mistakes. 1) Mc Kenzie must play the first half because he is dynamite ! 2) To play points just 5 minutes before the end ! Incredible ! From a frog ! 🇫🇷
There comes a time at the end of a game and you need to make things happen and score : there has to be a definite game plan : desperation calls for a desperate plan ,there isn't one !!
For me it was cristall clear that ABs will lose by 1 point. France put their Kick off every Single time very deep left. No way to get out of there. So definitely wrong decision based on Lack of confidence to score a try or having no clue about game management. Ioane though is the Real reason for this loss as he fumbled once again an easy Ball without any pressure or contact short before 5m line. No idea why he is starting every time no matter how bad he plays..
AB forwards are phenomenal. Backs are mediocre at best with some exceptions. Clark and Jordon my picks. Others may be look for new talent. #9 not sure who’s going to rise to the top. Looking very promising though under Razor.
It showed that their much hyped forward pack were humbled by the ABs pack, still not convinced Barrett is Captain material, lack of vision and critical thinking at certain moments, that would have made a difference at the time.
4 losses isnt great. But only 2 wins from 6 games against the top 5 reams just really isn't good enough at all. But some positives for sure coming through, particulalry from the young guys in the forwards. But there is definitely an issue in the backline that just really isnt clicking at all. Roigard was great, but Ratima was terrible. DMac and Beaudy have been very hit-and-miss. Jordie Barrett is normally good but Rieko just isnt a centre at that level. Never has been and after a long time its clear he never will be. So the fact that we dont seem to have any ither options at all in centres is a major concern for me if we want to have a free flowing backline. 🤷 Just my thoughts anyway.
Yes. We are in the final 10 and losing. 3 points, and we are still losing. They have the restart and push us deep into our territory with less time on the clock. Had they took a chance and kick into the corner, fortune may have smiled on the boys and tge game is at the right end. So, Captain Safety throws away an opportunity to nab the win for 3 points that does nothing. Give Damo the job.
They lost accept it , they are just top 4/5 team at best couldn't even beat Argentina at home also lucky wins against England and Ireland who didn't perform on the night hope this defeat brings NZ back down to earth again and stops them getting carried away after just 2 wins.
I keep hearing the head coach and captain in post match interviews saying we played some good footy or yes we will take that lesson and learn from it. Well can l suggest you learn BEFORE the game about the opposition . When are coaches going to get their act together when are we going to stop losing for goodness sake this is the all blacks aura of old your busy destroying. You have exciting young guns but their game time is limited or not at all----- absolutely losing confidence in their coaching abilities.
Jeff really irritated me, who give him right to not respek Mill point. Anyway AB DID LOOSE THE OVERFOCUS ON BARRETTE BROTHERS, JORDIE WERE IN ALL LOSES. IF AB CAN REVAMP BRING PROCT AND LAM IN
Going backwards to move forward …..how much will that loss or one point be worth in the long run…bad captainship calling for a 3 . weak weak where are the other leaders
I mean the french team barely won with a team not at its very best, but even if the best of France probably couldve gotten a safer victory, that doesnt mean NZ is truly behind, its close enough a result that even if its a loss, doesnt necessarly mean they were worse than before, just that the french team rose to their skill level
we don t give a shit, comment the 20 fouls joubert didnt call in 2011, comment how okeefe was paid to be blind with his tmo and not see knockons and physical agressions....talk about that
If the world rankings were based on all tests played, one team would be No.1 forever. The team that wins the highest percentage of their tests. We know who it is.
Dont know whether it was a planned move by the coaching staff or not, but when a player is displaying exceptional skill and ability, scores a try with freakin arrogance, why take him out of the game early? move Reiko back to wing or dump him, we need a game breaking centre, Reeks aint it, maybe we play Ardie at centre, just kidding, or am I? congrats France.
Please recalculate the average age. It is very definitely not 24! The average age is 27. Whoever is doing your stats needs to buy a new calculator. I suspect it's Jeff Wilson, he gets most things wrong.
The worst thing of that game was listening to the one-eyed commentators of NZ who couldn't even reflect the right score at half time. Bunch of wannebe dummies.
The Breakdown is a bit of a soft affair really. They never address the obvious with players ( probably their mates) who have consistently under performed this year. I am refering to Geordie Barrett and Reiko Ioani. It is not working and hasnt for some time. When we get the centre pairing right we will have a well balanced team that will be able to beat anyone.
Come on you biased lot - France turned the game round in the second half. Rubbish you - even England should have beaten you twice but spurned 8 points in game 1 and missed the vital kick in game 3 at the end.
Be patient you big heads allow credit to the other rugby nations that have lifted their game. Yes I understand you Kiwi expect to win every game but you got to appreciate the global games progress. South Africa is the modern game bench mark. The ABs are rebuilding to what they once were. Your not the Dominant rugby nation but the most respected yes. Let’s see if the Famous ABs can reach the mountain top again. Yes good signs shown but let’s see if the ABs can achieve that climate top in 2027. In Australia
Lol. When South Africa was rebuildng back in the day the ABs made yous nil like zero points. All Blacks rebuildng now and Bokkes still cant make the ABs nil. Roigard has showed he's the real deal and I'm really excited to see more of him in the future, unreal talent.

Thank you.
Boks also play kak in turquoise
The Blacks were real bulldozers, the French had difficulty containing them in the first half, but during the second half the French tightened the game and the Blacks began to tire, the more the decision to take the 3 points instead of trying the penaltouch cost them victory
Thank god someone is asking why the 3 each time in the last 10mins when behind on the score board. They are the All Blacks, back themselves to get a try from 5m out.
All started to go wrong at Twickenham against the Boks in 23. I’m a Bok supporter.
The end of year tour used to be growing debth, experience and AB's have done that.
We are heading in the right direction
Surely the AB will beat France next year, on tour to NZ. And then the Bokke have two matches there too. That will be a massive challenge, can’t wait, the AB are improving, Bokke are building, Walabies are back, Argies competitive!
a victory over a B team doesn't mean much.
6 Minutes to go, 3 points or 7 points? Definitely the wrong decision.
I for one would like to put in a bid for this New Zealand team on behalf of the whole of Wales if you guys don't want them. Name your price.
Both teams wanted to win. Unfortunately, only one team could win, and France came up tops
Richie Mo’unga we miss your influence
4 points down at 74 minutes and we opt for a kick at goal? What on earth was Scott Barrett thinking
Exactly
And France made the exact same mistake against SA on their lost game in the RWC. French here. I hate when our team calculates too safy when countdown screams otherwise.
I don't think NZ or FRA had the stamina or sharpness to attack in the last 10 minutes of either of these games. A kick to touch would probably have lost it as well. Now if it was SA with a fresher bomb squad pack, I'd say kick to touch and go rumble.
Ive never heard Goldie criticise the all blacks.
Has it ever been a great season for a new AB team in the first year before the world cup.
Seeking too much consolation in defeat is a dangerously self deluding business, eh?
Jeff Wilson is terrible for this All Blacks side. I hope he doesnt influence the New Zealand public too much. The first season of a new coach should never be too results driven. The performance they dished out against Ireland is indicative of a good season. It shows growth. To be so critical of them is crazy. He needs to go. The All Blacks deserve better.
Jeffie always loved the camera. Looked for it.
Terrible commentator too, very biased.
I aggree, but all on panel must play to his tune, satify him. Disrespecting other view points

As someone who rued the choice for goal, I admit you make a compelling case
Its good input, but then, its not "the New Zealand way" is a valid point, by historical evidence, for better or worse.
Perhaps some growing pains for NZ, the professional game has been growing, defences of top teams getting better and better, that gap in execution NZ could comfortably rely on, for those game winning tries in dying minutes just aren't as easy as use to be, and its difficult to accept from a fan/pundit perspective, wanting to see the ABs of old, emotionally tied to it.
😂😂😂 nice attempt but no cigar.
Your waffling.
Lacking confidence to go line and maul was a kak decision.
Truth is ABs were gassed out
Well said! Early on in the game, we opted for trys on at least 2 occasions, which were kickable. Yes, in hindsight, shoulda-coulda-woulda. Penalty kicks for the posts won us the Ireland match. Either way, it was an entertaining game.
B Barrett just kicked to much Valuable Possession away..
Alot of hot air. The All Blacks have lost their edge and ability to come back and there's not the depth in talent New Zealand had even 5 years ago.
Did the staging of the Haka at the SDF get noticed down ther ein NZ ? Or it was just business as usual ?
It's a satanic occultic practice that should be banned. Calling on ancestors for help, which by the way is bullsh-t coz only the demonic reply.
Ancestors are just demons appearing as kin. All Pacific islanders dabble init.
that ardie run and try assist😍
We lost because BB played and they never put Damien on as a 10 replacement. He would have broken through and tried for a drop goal.
I put my money on Caleb to power through his man
Edit: It sets up for scrum penalties and possible yellow cards too so you can get a bit from them
I had money on Argentina and all blacks.. both blew it for me …
Two big big mistakes.
😂 Australia looked good
Do you except the loss, is that a option.
That woman shouting. Goldie saying too much and nothing at the same time. Aotearoa Rugby Pod!!
AB forwards are phenomenal. Backs are mediocre at best with some exceptions. Clark and Jordon my picks. Others may be look for new talent. #9 not sure who’s going to rise to the top. Looking very promising though under Razor.
Loved this 😅 so so cocky pre game and at half time. Well done the French
It showed that their much hyped forward pack were humbled by the ABs pack, still not convinced Barrett is Captain material, lack of vision and critical thinking at certain moments, that would have made a difference at the time.
😂😂😂 he reminds me of Frankenstein.
I wonder if he has same papa coz seriously doesn't look same as the other skinnies
Welcome to real world ..not intimidating anymore . By All Blacks ..Hi New Zealand
Just stop the pity party and go on.
You can't win all the time.
Listen to me razor, don’t you ever dare fkn take Roigard off again
Too many lost opportunities. How about kicking for touch and backing yourself.
Someone? Around the 3rd minute the bald guy named the top countries, SA- (neck?) - Fr etc.. What was the 2nd?
1 loss is one too many for the All Blacks...
They lost accept it , they are just top 4/5 team at best couldn't even beat Argentina at home also lucky wins against England and Ireland who didn't perform on the night hope this defeat brings NZ back down to earth again and stops them getting carried away after just 2 wins.
Argentina beat everyone in the RC and I wouldn't call 3 wins against England "lucky"
Never, too smug

Well can l suggest you learn BEFORE

When are coaches going to get their act together when are we going to stop losing for goodness sake this is the all blacks aura of old your busy destroying.

They seem to know sod all about the French team. Pretty one-sided analysis by people who only know about NZ rugby.
Frogs are looking topsish
I mean the french team barely won with a team not at its very best, but even if the best of France probably couldve gotten a safer victory, that doesnt mean NZ is truly behind, its close enough a result that even if its a loss, doesnt necessarly mean they were worse than before, just that the french team rose to their skill level
