Grow mushrooms at home, make first aid ointments, and tie dye for fun! - NexGen Village TABconf 2023

This workshop is a reminder to focus on our other useful skills in the natural world. While we are immersed in the technical world of bitcoin we need to take time to grow our other practical skills!
In this workshop we will highlight and troubleshoot strategies and tools that keep us sovereign and healthy --- from setting up your own grow lab for shruums (establishing mycelium and fruiting your first bag of lions mane mushrooms), to harvesting medicinal backyard weeks to create tinctures or beeswax salves, we will be sure you leave with new skills, knowledge, and appreciation for what grows around you, and with your support. From mushrooms to dandelions, home heating/mining to node running, playing with electricity and power to raising chickens and ice tie-dying, we can cover a lot!
Bitcoin_Rail (Eric) is a machinist with solid mycology, fishing, electrical, and welding skills.
Bitcoin Nurse (Carolyn) is a RN, co-conspiring mycologist, aspiring herbalist with herbal first aid know-how that transforms local weeds into healing remedies.
