I have a 53 merc...Monterey.....all original..it was my father in laws..I have it now ..very clean ...wish I knew more about the 6 volt system.....push button went out..he did something before he passed. ..any help would be appreciated. Much love .,.
6v is really no different than 12. Just power and ground. Less voltage, more amps. I recommend tracing your wires out, make sure all connections are good, bypass a switch if it’s questionable, double check all the grounds, make sure your battery is good, and give it a shot. There’s nothing special about 6v
So neat to see a flathead ford v8 run
I swear, flatheads (if well maintained) will run forever
Sounds good
