Chad, I made comment on the previous video that your distributor looked like the "diver's helmet" style but this video is a little clearer & I see that is the round, 2 piece cap style - same as on my '47. This was used from 1946-1948. Sounds good!
Thank you. Yeah it’s a similar distributor to my 39. My 39 has the old 3 bolt divers helmet. This one looks similar but a little different. It looks more like an aviator helmet. When did they start using the crab distributor?
I don’t think I have a video on just the stand. It’s just a basic run stand I bought from Summit Racing online. I swapped all the gauges because the kit came with junk gauges. I sturdied it up with heavier swivle casters and a 2x6 lumber platform. What details are you needing?
Flathead's forever! 🤟😎

@@ChadDrake4185 The "crab" style caps were used from '42-'44.
Do you have a video on the components for your run stand? I need to build one for my 8ba. Its just going to be a one time use.

@@ChadDrake4185 I guess the key systems that you used. Looks like I also need to use my starter solenoid, Ive never used an engine run stand...
