For those of us who have long since passed the age when such things are possible we collectively give you a huge THANK YOU. Your adventures take me back 40 years when I did such things myself. But no more. Enjoy it while it lasts. Time is mysterious in how it vanishes so quickly. You’re an honor to your generation and you’ve done yourself proud. I’ve watched all of your videos and I’ve observed how you’ve continued to perfect your fishing, filming, and editing. It’s really top shelf stuff. Fantastic work! You’ve reached a level of perfection only attained by very few others in the fly fishing genre. Well done!!!

That was top drawer watch Alex- Some hard work, pristine nature, good weather, all those fish were in top condition. That last one was a proper lump... and in a glass clear pool so easy to have spooked. Great to see them well treated and go back to where they belong. 🙌
Wonderfull trip and amazing landscape Alex. Love watching your videos. Couldn’t be better with those giants brownies!! Congrats and thanks for sharing the beautiful NZ. Cheers from Patagonia.
As always Alex ...a great video presentation ( not just flies you present well!!) ..those birds steal everything and leave it all over the place ...lets hope we can meet up next year ..flights booked just depends on how the situation develops !!
Absolutely fantastic record of an amazing trip! You'll be able to look back on that one and just go wow!!! Thanks for sharing your adventures and apart from the epic fish moments, also really appreciate the extra effort you put in to get great additional footage to bring it all together when you must be dead on your feet! You've really created a really great video. Look after the feet and I look forward to the next!
Great fishing and well worth the blisters. I think you have taken another step in you film making and editing. It really gives the whole story and takes you on the journey, not just catching fish, but the scenery and experience. Well done Alex.
Hi Alex, what can I say that hasn’t been said by everyone else? Fantastic fishing and photography as well as the editing. Congratulations and thanks. You need to have another good think about feet care, blisters are not a natural injury but more of a lack of due care and attention. Take note from an old soldier, look after your feet and you will get to the next bend in the river of life. Cheers mate. Haere rā .
@@TrippinOnTrout Hi Alex, just remembered that we use to carry a “Housewife” in our kit that had needles, safety pins, cotton, silk thread etc. When we got a blister we threaded a needle with some cotton, pierced the blister with the cotton (not actually into the blister but a few mm just before and after the blister) forming a tunnel through which the fluid in the blister can escape. The double thread of cotton acts like a wick allowing the moisture to escape and lets the top skin dry and the new skin evolve and whole lot does not get infected. This is nothing new as the Roman Legionaries must have used it. I picked up the idea in Africa from a Légion étrangère soldier and has stood me in good stead all my life. So, I can guarantee that it works. Cheers mate, and keep those out of the way fishing trips going, you are showing us a part of NZ most of us never see. Keep safe. Harera
