Godo was the last person who helped Guts focus on what was important to him after Guts left Casca and Rickert alone for 2 years. Maybe it's Rickerts' turn to finally guide Guts back on the right path
I agree that Rickert is gonna try and uplift Guts. Cause as of right now, Gut’s thinks reaching Griffith with his sword is impossible, but as you brought up in this video, Rickert managed to slap him in the face. This may be a leap, but I feel like that’s gonna be the thing to help Guy’s get back on his feet. We all know of Gut’s tenacity, so if he has even the slightest chance of reaching him, I feel like he’ll take that and run with it.
Dude that was the first thing i noticed before anything, in the first panel "wow the drawing is so on point, its almost like Miura is here", excellently done, its night and day when the new team took it over and did the first chapter.
I love these little chapter review videos because it makes the chapters feel more impactful and gives me more food for though about the events that are transpiring in this manga
While it is hard to watch Guts look completely defeated, it makes him all the more human. It became very routine for him to get mad, activate the berserker armor, and pull back a tough fight, and while I loved watching Guts go berserk, it makes it all the more impactful now that we see his devastation after his entire reason for starting on this path so long ago is still out of reach. He cannot even touch Griffith. The devastation after having all this progress he thought he was making (and still did, but it most likely seems useless to him now) be for nothing, which would make anyone feel a sense of hopelessness and uselessness. He could not save Casca again, he failed to protect her again. After this type of devastation, where one's world crumbles around them, that is when incredible anger rises, but there is a period of listlessness/hopelessness until it snaps and recenters on pure rage. That is where I think it is going, and I think all of Guts' experience up until this point will be referenced/used to prevent him from going to far over the edge. Essentially, I think it will be a test of will which has been built up since the Conviction Arc, which is a very cool way to remind us of how far Guts has come since the Blackswordsman Arc. Tldr: I think this devastation helps this stick out from all of Guts' recent victories. I think that once Guts "wakes up" from this listlessness he will snap and be tested against all of his progress that began in the Conviction Arc that began to temper his anger and refocus him.
After all he’s been through, and especially after Miura’s passing, I hope Berserk doesn’t end with Guts dying. Let him live the remainder of his life in peace and quiet when it’s all over.
Make Casca sacrifice her life to save Guts and the gang and let him marry (a grown up) Schirke and live somewhere far away peacefully and create a new elf village

I always believed that the reason that Guts couldn’t harm griffith while Rickert could is because Griffith is the author of his own story and those under his influence are bound to his will. Guts still holds onto Griffith in a way and thus makes him bound to Griffith whereas Rickert has moved on and no longer holds any grudge or sympathy for Griffith he said so as much after he slapped him. So in order to kill Griffith Guts must let go of his trauma and his desire to have his revenge

My only complaint of the chapters post-Miura is the lack of dialogue, I felt like they were gonna continue Berserk as a storyboard. But I’m glad to see that there was much more dialogue this chapter, I hope it will stay like that
Yeah me too since we've been served with alot of good fights I was hoping to see more dialogue delving deep into the beserk lore and topics of that sort
You also have to understand about chapters coming out, the art for this is insane. Even after miura was taken over the art is still very very good. You have to understand drawing a very beutiful piece of art for every panel takes time
It’s amazing to have more Berserk finally be out after a while. I assume maybe it took a while because maybe Mori is trying to figure out this new arc and think clearly about how it’s gonna work out and everything like that. Anyway, this new chapter was pretty cool. Nothing too significant happened in it for most of it, but it was pretty obvious it was gonna focus on the Kushans taking the ship hostage and rounding everyone up. Some people have said them putting Guts in chains is supposed to be similar to the Beast Of Darkness being put in chains so that’s makes me wonder if that’ll actually hold him or if he’s gonna go crazy on them. The biggest twist in the chapter though was seeing that Rickert is with them. I totally thought that. I thought it would make perfect sense for Rickert to be with them and I was right. All I can say is that I think he’s gonna see Guts and try to help him and maybe he’ll explain what happened when he was in Falconia and maybe Guts can tell him what happened with Griffith destroying Elfhelm and so on and I still stand by my original statement that I think Guts, the rest of the party, Rickert, Erica and the Kushans are gonna team up to invade Falconia and fight Griffith and the rest of his Apostles and maybe this could result in everyone exposing Griffith for who he really is and we’ll have the final fight with Guts and Griffith. I heard somewhere that Miura said Guts would go off on his own for a while, so I don’t entirely know how that’s gonna work. Maybe Rickert convinces the Kushans to let Guts go from being a prisoner and maybe he decides to leave while the others make a plan to invade Falconia and maybe Guts comes back when he hears about it and tries to save everyone from dying and decides to also do it to save Casca.
I don't think this is going to happen yet even with the kushans they don't stand much of a chance against griffith and apostles the story is probably going to progress in some other way I can see guts massacring the kushans and going by himself for a while

@@nathannix3217 it’s either 1-like he says in the black swordsman arc, how Guts is “beneath his notice…” 2- or it’s the moonlight child not allowing Griffth to harm Casca/Guts 3- (this just my theory so might be wrong) It’s the behelit, and Guts is destined to survive
It's possible that Griffith just allowed Rickert to slap him because making his hand phase right through him would have looked too weird to everyone present. Griffith has tried to downplay his weird abilities to his non-demon followers. He still wants to appear mostly human to them. Another possibility is that Griffith didn't see Rickert's slap coming but he could easily prepare for Guts to attack him before it happened. The third thing I considered is that Guts has the brand of sacrifice and Rickert doesn't Griffith might be able to predict or sense Gut's moves better than he can Rickert's. Or, maybe because he's a Godhand member, he's just immune to anything a person with the brand tries to do to him. I find this to be the least likely explanation, however, because no other demonic being has shown the ability to be immune to Guts, or be able to predict his attacks, just because of the brand.
Guts is going to lose it and probably butcher some Kushans only for Rickert to bring him back cause our girl the little mage ain't here. Rickert ain't a magic user so if he literally slaps Guts' into consciousness, he's officially the baddest motherfucker around.
Berzerk as a story arc has to start to tie a lot of strands together. The arc us going nowhere and nowhere fast. Who is the Scull knight and what is his beef with Void and the others. What does Guts have the Skull Knight needs in order to defeat Void and the other since they have marked Guts. Guts has no clue how to remove their mark of damnation and has never asked Skull about it. I find this utterly annoying and implausible. A rather ironic thing to say give the genre we are in 😊 but there is a limit. Also for me, the new band is rather pathetic as a force to be reconed with, containing a gaggle of children and teens and weakling imps, no wonder evil is consuming the world, it is filled with ignorant weaklings. Even the magical beings that are on the good side are shit scared and have been hunted down to almost extinction. Which is fare enough but Guts can not carry this load on his own. A free new charchaters with bass ass balls who are aware of the Void and what is happening needs to get involved ASAP, otherwise I am not waiting around for another fukking 10yrs dude.
Theory time: Guts CAN physically touch Griffith. But Guts is holding himself back. It's a mental thing for him. A hurdle he still has to get over. And there is the connection with the Moonlight Boy. What does hurting Griffith actually mean now? Things like that are probably going through Guts head. And it's this hesitation that's holding him back. At least that's my current hypothesis
i would lve to know the full lore because one of berserks biggest positives is world building in terms of mysteries and foreshadowing .. but with the pacing and lack of content per chapters and release shcedule i dont even think the main story alone can be finished anytime soon ... as for beating griffith it wont be in the physical world itll be in the world of idea.. plus the story is not about how to beat griffith ..its the story of guts AND griffith.. both represent opposite ideologies
yeah the artwork has definitely gotten better. I thought the series was fucked after Miura passed but I'm fairly impressed with what they've shown so far
The Hindi language spoken in this chapter by the Kushan soldiers is very archaic when compared to Modern Hindi spoken as of today. Some say it is Sanskrit. Some say it is of Devanagri script. I hope someone can translate whatever they said. The people of the Kushan empire is based on Hinduism. Hinduism in general respects the idea of Hope by combining both Morality and Wisdom and making sure that in the end, in a Universe filled with Adharma(Non righteousness), only Dharma(Righteousness) prevails no matter what. I don't know if either Rickert or the Kushan or both are gonna help Guts through both Morality and Wisdom to defeat Griffith, the God Hand and the Idea of Evil and perhaps, save Casca as well. But let's just say this is my theory/prediction.
Actually, whatever written on the speech bubbles were absolutely gibberish. They weren't sanskrit nor hindi. I can confirm it as I know both the languages.
I think Guts was unable to hit Griffith because his sword now has that dark power and Griffith being Femto, it was ineffective, like how Ganishka was unable to hurt Griffith despite trying to oppose him
I disagree with the next few chapters. I think they will swing to Falconia and Sonia. She will read Casca's mind and see what Griffith did and start plotting her escape. And they will elaborate on Griffith's plans of 'to the east.' Wanna bet? I have almost never been wrong. $100 bet Masked Man. You in?
man, ive seen too many stanky ass takes on new berserk recently, good to know the og still hitting us with actual good takes. i hate the thought that they need to rush the story and finish it NOW since miuras gone, thats just stupid, if you want it to be more like miuras berserk then it shouldn't be rushed. i don't want them to just start abandoning the little moments that made berserk extra special, I like how they are going about the new chapters.
NGL I think kinda think Guts might go full berserk accidentally kill Casca use the behelit to kill the entire God hand then kill himself. But hopefully that won’t happen 😅
I think griffith was hit by rickert because rickert didn't express any hate towards Griffith, because he loves him still. I think Rickert helping Guts come to a point kind of like that would help bring guts to a good end of his pain. Forgiveness is the end of all hate or struggle, and appeals to his remorsefull side.
Maybe guts and casca cant harm griffith cuz they are part of his sacrifice. They cant do harm to the thing who sold their lives, their debt hasnt been paid yet. Because they have the mark they cant harm the person who cursed them with it.

When under ninja 105
Love da growth as always bro. Might even start making content at this point
I already predict the final arc of berserk it’s going to be a all out war between guts and his companions and people who realizes the truth of Griffith vs Griffith and his Army
More like last second or third final arc. Don't forget that Skull Knight do have some connections to Void.
Guts will need to reach a messiah-level charicture arc to defeat the antichrist Griffith. The religious connotations in this story are insane.
the next two chapters are gonna be amazing and brutal
Vinland Music and Berserk goes so well together.
Hey guys, does anyone know an app to read berserk ?
5:35 eeehE
My guess: Rickert isn't branded, and Guts and Casca are. That's how Griffith controls them.
Skull Knight isn't branded either. Yet his Behilit sword didn't even lay a scratch on Griffith
Well, the armor itself might not be branded, but his body was and soul still is. At least that was strongly implied in the flashback to the first eclipse
Rickert is back broo 😭 he needs to slap Griffith to death!
Is Berserk manga continuing to this day?
Idk I would love to know what's up with void and the skull night but yeah otherwise just wrap up the narrative
I always thought that Griffith allowed himself to be slapped because deep down he has remorse for the things he’s done.
100%. He still has a bit of humanity left in him and I definitely believe it's gonna lead to his downfall
I thought he was drained of all emotion?
@@John34bruh maybe so but the moonlight child still has emotions and they both currently share a body.
@@seanomygod oh yeah I forgot abt him
Which website to use to read this entire Manga?
Thanks for the latest chapter mans. Everything good?, because you said you were held hostage.
You have three kids? Congrats bro. My third is on the way. Much love.
So...what was the announcement?? The one that was supposed to come out the 29th?
how do you read the new chapters of berserk??
So is this arc’s name is Eastern Exile?
Is the manga still going on???
Why is no one talking about the fact that the Kushan are talking gibberish in Hindi
i get why the chapters are coming late but my problem is i keep having to want to reread all of it again because i forget details from the previous chapters
bro did u read the latest vinland saga :(
Shit was sad man 😢
Hey, we do not know each other but I would like to tell u that despite all the bad that you have done in your life, GOD still loves you and wants you to be with him (GOD), all yoi must do is to trust in Jesus like how he would trust in parachute when jumping out of a plane and you must be willing to turn from your wrong doings and do what is good😊😊😊 0:14
Why can’t Griffith just solo everyone with his Godlike power?
Griffith is still laying out his hand I believe.
Cuz that’s boring and not his goal
@@John34bruh Then he’s an idiot for not killing off potential threats
@@nathannix3217 it’s either
1-like he says in the black swordsman arc, how Guts is “beneath his notice…”
2- or it’s the moonlight child not allowing Griffth to harm Casca/Guts
3- (this just my theory so might be wrong)
It’s the behelit, and Guts is destined to survive
Day 1 of telling Masked to read Golden Kamuy
They're making slowly but surely without trying make mistakes
Also what language are the kushans speaking. I understand the text but the words aren't making that much sense
I think it's Sanskrit.
@@atmat2371it's not
It's possible that Griffith just allowed Rickert to slap him because making his hand phase right through him would have looked too weird to everyone present.
Damn
yeah the artwork has definitely gotten better. I thought the series was fucked after Miura passed but I'm fairly impressed with what they've shown so far
Rickert look like girls in that panel lol
He always look like girl but actually a boy
You in?
Yeeeeeeeeees baby i need it i can't. accept that's end
They should draw guts better, he looks very weird
The problem with the Kushan taking them hostage is Guts wouldnt let that happen, he’d to berserk. We need Rickert here to calm him down
man, ive seen too many stanky ass takes on new berserk recently, good to know the og still hitting us with actual good takes. i hate the thought that they need to rush the story and finish it NOW since miuras gone, thats just stupid, if you want it to be more like miuras berserk then it shouldn't be rushed. i don't want them to just start abandoning the little moments that made berserk extra special, I like how they are going about the new chapters.
NGL I think kinda think Guts might go full berserk accidentally kill Casca use the behelit to kill the entire God hand then kill himself. But hopefully that won’t happen 😅
How would he use the beherit to kill the God Hand?
@@kovic_ He's just freestyling lmao
@@berketetik3118he just thought up the worst scenario possible 😂😂😂
I think griffith was hit by rickert because rickert didn't express any hate towards Griffith, because he loves him still. I think Rickert helping Guts come to a point kind of like that would help bring guts to a good end of his pain. Forgiveness is the end of all hate or struggle, and appeals to his remorsefull side.

Berserk is one edgy manga eh?
Maybe guts and casca cant harm griffith cuz they are part of his sacrifice. They cant do harm to the thing who sold their lives, their debt hasnt been paid yet. Because they have the mark they cant harm the person who cursed them with it.
