What a great mini-documentary. As a F1 die hard fan and business developer, I'm pleased to know more than just the data but how brand partnerships are created and leveraged........Thank you!
They are ignoring seasoned fans & look for new... Ignoring iconic tracks for unpopular new... Still waiting for multi tyre manufacturers... DRS is no way pure racing... But there is hope
They do they don't a different thing... This is my opinion... History, another topic, often biased... Tyre like any other car component depends on the manufacturers ability which affects overall performance... Get your facts right
One One thing, James Vowles and I disagree. I believe most teams on the grid actually look to Red Bull , and dream of having their success, rather then Williams heritage, but thats just me...
I'm a huge Zack Brown fan and I wish him and the McLaren team well, but with US owned Liberty Media, they are only in for the $$$$. As long as there is no true US team, I'm not watching, I'm not going and I'm not buying anything from them. They don't get a penny from me and I'm near Miami. Stefano Dumbenicali is not a leader. He did nothing as a team leader except lose. It's going to take a real US team to get me to watch. Sooner or later, after the nixed the Andretti deal, the American's are going to figure out at the 3 races that they are just giving $$$ and getting nothing in return.
Lots of people would've been aware of the sport but didn't have any history of watching it. Drive To Survive would've peaked that interest. Absolutely nothing wrong with that - it's not your place to gate keep how people can come to like something.
For the Mclaren cars, I believe that the action taken by Putin to forbid the lgbtq would only increase their number over time. However what Russia can do is not promote the carrots in children minds. That is still a debate of this century, between full conservatory and the very liberal guys. However I do not see stealing and murdering being associated to the lgbtq group. You may create a group that has moral issues against doing that. After all most of us do not live in prisons with really bad guys that may also promote that kind of homosexuality. That is how I see the future and a dialogue to reach world stability and avoid a disaster called WW3. In the future traditional weapons may be found absolute and quantum computing could bring new ways to conduct the modern warfare, that is why is hard to predict what will be after 10 years when maybe many technologies will take off.

We're pleased you enjoyed it!
Problem is, all these factors are why ticket prices are INSANE
I heard every corporate buzzword in this piece.
“I don’t look for sponsors, I look for partners… a sponsorship is just a stick on the car without any relationship “😂
No mention of the Arab money in this entire piece. 4 Grand Prix, huge sponsorships etc, how could you miss this?
"Activate" might be my new least favourite business jargon
Great DHL now i understand why me trying to send a parcel around the world for less than 200 dollars is not your preferred buisness
What a brilliant documentary! Keep 'em coming, CNBC! :)
This is an incredibly well made documentary.
Great primer for anyone new to F1 -- can't wait for the rest of the series!
5:35 Very similar to how the circuits work here in Argentina. Real motorsports enthusiasts.
Great work, CNBC!
Thank you!
Hey,CNBC your team is the "Champion of the year"
🎉🎉 Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉🎉
😢The glory years of F1was the Jim Clark era. The cars were beautiful, and the best drivers usually won. No traction control or driver aids either.
The amount of slop and bullsh*t spoken per minute on this video is something else..
It's incredible Toto wolff somehow turned F1 into a 116M£ profit business
who is that at 0:41 / 0:42 in the green confetti? That shot is truly amazing wth.
I think it is daniel ricciardo
Pierre Gasly
Pierre Gasly when he raced for AlphaTauri

At the end of the day, it's a business.
They will never go back to multi tire providers. Go back, read the history and you will learn why.

Zk, all teams 10 teams ta play with same size bat 😂😂 surly Zak that should be 9 teams 😂😂

IT IS NOT A CHAMPAGNE!!
It's sparkling wine
Actually you’re right
I just want to hug Victoria
India literally blow it off the golden opportunity...first to lose the grand prix and then lose the team

What about Haas? Aren‘t they a US Team tho???
@@theconqueror030 No. Just US owned by Gene Haas. They are not US based at all

Please return to Indianapolis!!!
Historically? It’s obvious if you gain the attention of the richest country in the 🌎, profits will increase (not necessarily quality of content).
So this is just a list of sponsors with a bunch of buzz words?
So… all these street circuits like Vegas, ruin it for actual racing fans. They can’t pass on those wonky tracks.
This is not going to last long. The sport is just boring. It got a huge boost with Covid and drive to survive.
Writing this during the most exciting and chaotic season in years?
@@williamford9564 don't mind him, maybe just a lil Lewis-or-someone biased fan crying hard for attention tho haha 😂
What i hate is to see the so called celebrities, capitalizing on the popularity of the sport but has Zero knowledge oo it😅
Says alot about how much of a fan you are when you found out about f1 on netflix 😂
